"We went here for our anniversary and it was AMAZING! Amber was our server and she was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. The gentleman filling our water glass and bussing our table was also incredibly nice. They had a small table in the corner for us with linens, champagne, and anniversary card from the staff. My husband and I both come from fine dining management and this place seems like a great operation . Overall GREAT experience! Visited 2/13/25"
"While looking for a breakfast/brunch spot close to where I was staying, I found Sleepy Bee was close by and had great reviews. Me and a couple of my coworkers decided to come here.It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. Everything sounded really good from the menu and looked really good from all the photos online. I got eggs, bacon, and chose to do a chocolate chip pancake on the side instead of toast. It was really good and the bacon had a sweet taste that made it so much better. Our server was nice and friendly. She gave us recommendations. The price was really good (we're coming from CA so comparing it to that). I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town."

"Stopped at The Exchange for lunch and everything from the food to the service was top notch. The burgers were great as was the beer. Kelsey was fantastic and she took excellent care of us. We will absolutely come back."
"Sleepy Bee has always been a solid choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I came here after a workout class with friends and had The Queen City Bee. The sweet and savory taste of the sandwich is delicious and the milk bun ties the ingredients together nicely. Our server was very helpful when we were deciding on our sides. The interior is decorated with bee merchandise with a lot of information about how important bees are for our ecosystem and food supply. The local farms and vendors were listed, as well. I liked knowing I was supporting local farms and businesses with my meal. My meal was an incredible way to start my day. I've always liked Sleepy Bee but admire them even more after learning about their dedication for giving back to our environment and saving the bees."
"Service was fantastic. It was clean, organized and everything we ordered was excellent. Definitely a level above for Bistro! Can't wait to go back"
"CH... well I have one word for you!! WINE.. That is what most think of first and foremost. But do not sleep on the quality of the food. Second to none!! With the best atmosphere and the best service. From the management down to the bus boys every one is nice and courtesy. The only negative in this review is that in today's rising food costs. We feel the pinch on many of our favorite food dishes. But not the quality every dish on the menu is excellent. CH one request bring back the pork chops with onion rings... please.."
"Taste of Belgium has a couple locations, but I can only speak for this one as I was only in town for a weekend for a wedding. First - parking is plenty as it's located in a shopping plaza. You might have to walk a bit, but certainly not hard to find a spot. Second - even on a Saturday at 11am, it didn't take us (a party of 5) more than 10 minutes to get seated. The place is lively, but not overcrowded, and the staff was both friendly and attentive. Onto the most important part: the food! You can't go to a place with Belgium in the name and not order Belgian waffles. The waffles are pretty small in size, they aren't American-sized for sure. We had the Strawberries and Cream waffle (with additional Nutella), Goetta Hash, Breakfast Plate, Omelette, and Chicken and Waffle. All was delicious! Things to point out: the sweet waffle was about palm-sized, and 70% whip-cream with a light drizzle of whip cream and thin layer of strawberries, haha. I was fine with it because I love cream, but your mileage may vary. For the chicken and waffle, this is their most popular dish and I understand why. I do recommend having the sauces on the side so you can portion as you like - I found the hot sauce much more overpowering than the syrup. Overall, a great brunch spot!"
"We were in town visiting with our pup and were looking for pet friendly restaurants to enjoy. It was down pouring outside when we got there and found out that our pup could dine with us inside. We were so surprised but our pup loved the experience. She sat quietly under the table and just enjoyed the folks saying hi to her and the music and lights. The staff was super friendly, and we got a few different things to try. I got a scrambler where everything was all in one vessel and it was delicious. I've never had a tomato gravy until this experience and it had a kick to it, but I enjoyed it. We will definitely be back when we're in town again!"
"Some places reach a level of perfection in their food and service unmatched by others. These places usually stay hidden, preserved for a special crowd to enjoy them in secret. Once in a while though, those places are smack in the middle of the city, not far from some of the major attractions, and all you have to do is enter their doors and sit down to enjoy some of the best food you'll ever have in a region. Such is the case with Agave & Rye in Covington. Our discovery of Agave & Rye was incredibly fortuitous. I had just landed from South Florida, here to celebrate my niece and nephew's birthday. Half of my family was set to arrive in a hour and a half and we needed something to eat. It was late at night, we looked for a highly recommended spot for food, and lo and behold, Yelp always comes in clutch! But when we arrived at the location suggested they had just closed their kitchen and were solely focused on drinks. Hungry and disappointed, we ventured the streets of Covington once more. And as we were passing by Agave & Rye we couldn't help but notice people still sitting outside enjoying their meals.Luckily for us, there was a waitress passing by at the moment who told us we'd just arrived in time. Her name was Taylor. When it comes to customer service, Taylor's is unmatched. Not only was she in charge of serving the customers in the outside sitting area, but also training a new employee. We asked her for recommendations, and she guided us brilliantly. And so, under her guidance, we proceeded to order. One of the orders was for an Epic Taco - The Bomb taco. I decided for the Grilled Birria Burrito. And Oh My God! What a great decision that was! The burrito was perfect. There was flavor and deliciousness in every bite. Next time I promise to try one of the Epic Tacos. And how can you not. Besides the aforementioned one, you also have on the menu, the Jedi Taco, the Alderman taco, the Bang Bang, the Rooster, the Green Goddess, and the Love Shack 2.In conclusion, we truly ran into a gem. I can't wait to go back and continue enjoying the wonderful food and the great service at Agave & Rye."
"The Black and Bleu Bison burger is on point. At my request, it was cooked to a perfect medium. The fries were hot, rustic and crispy. There is a good selection of microbrews on tap.One slight negative:Please quit touting your "house ketchup". It's a concoction that is way too sweet, fruity and has a weird aftertaste. As a matter of fact, I have yet to have any house ketchup that is as good as the old reliable, Heinz. Anyway, not a deal breaker by any stretch."
"Took some out of town guests here for a late breakfast. Cute diner vibe, small and cozy restaurant. Food was very good and what I liked best is the servings were a normal size not the huge, expensive mountains of food most places now serve. I had four pecan waffles and the size was just right, fresh and tasty. Servers were pleasant and the place was clean. Lost a star because the coffee was luke warm, no matter how many times my cup was topped off the coffee was not hot."
"A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding. My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. With dessert I had a sauterne and really liked it as well. Our service was impeccable and Kyle coursed it out for us and did not miss a beat. The portions were also very nicely sized. We would definitely go back. I highly recommend."

We recently visited Le Moo it was the first time after a long break. When we arrived I alerted the hostess that we had a reservation They offered us a toast of champagne while we waited to be seated. When the table was ready I was surprised to find that even with a reservation we found ourselves sitting in the bar area at a small two top. The waitress came over and asked if we'd like some Louisville tap as if thats somehow a premium offering lol. I guess compared to some places it is. We accepted and ordered. I got the steak Diane and wife got the pork chop which our waitress informed us was top grade pork and it was recommended to have it prepared medium -medium well.I was okay with the risk of Trichinosis just so the chop wasn't dry! The food came out after a short wait, we did the supervised please check temperatures of the meat cuts. I hate it when I'm looking at a steak I know is over cooked (not much, but not perfect) and we all know it. Then it's a matter of waiting another ten minutes while my partner eats to get it right ... so I nodded it was fine... and it was tasty. The "sides" mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms very nice but a bit sparse.. I guess from a cost vs quantity perspective.Steak was to me a bit overcooked the red center the waitress described as medium wasn't exactly the case. The chop was exactly as she suggested medium well-ish definitely pink in the center. Near the end a nice lady who I perceived could be in charge or possibly the owner came over and checked on us. That was cool. Server offered dessert we declined ticket wrapped up promptly. All and all the meal was solid and it's certainly a must try if you've never visited before. I'll try Le Moo again sometime down the road.

Great food and plenty of it, I had a small issue with them and they quickly made amends with a gift voucher and apology. Couldn't fault them for customer service. This place is a must to visit or even take out.

I just came in for coffee but I decided to have the turmeric bone broth as well. I loved it! It's just like the ox tail broth I make at home. This is perfect for when you're feeling under the weather. I will have to come back to try what else is on the menu, it looks so good.

Been to a couple of their other locations which unfortunately I think some of them are closing. But here is a review of this location. It's very cute inside and very well thought out! Great ambience in that way. Jordan was our server and he was very helpful and making sure that we were taking care of. Overall I always just enjoy their burgers. They just make great burgers! My friend had the breakfast plate which he said was pretty good. He feels like he got enough food for what he wanted.Parking can be a little bit tough to find as there's only so much right out in front of the restaurant but there is a parking garage also behind that I'm not quite sure how to get to. But I know it's there. There's a lot of food options to choose from in this area but this is definitely a good one and I hope they stay open for a while. It sounds like the chain is having some problems these days. But I'm always happy with the food!

My go to spot for breakfast and brunch. Great vibes. Delicious food. Outstanding fun staff. My usual is the biscuit crumble with poached eggs and tomato gravy but everything I've tried is really really good: biscuit sandwich (with or without sausage), chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, avocado toast, huevos rancheros... and a nice treat is a glass of fresh squeezed OJ. Always a place I look forward to each and every time.

"Posting this review to include the new weekly happy hours menu! Always one of my fav places to go and they have a great outdoor patio!"
"We've had Tony's in various formats and it never fails to delight: dinning with reservation in the dining room, just popping in to sit in the bar and eat, late night for dessert and a drink at the bar, etc. The service and attention are top notch to match the high quality food and drink options."
"Twice in one week-that's how good!! The mac n cheese doughnuts!! Dayum! The nacho chips are tremendously thick and crisp. Absolutely awesome twist on tacos and the flavors blend and work so good. We've never been disappointed with our meals and service here. Will always return."
"It was our first time and we went to the third sitting of the Mother's Day brunch! The service was fast, the food was excellent and the mimosa was strong lol Definitely going again soon!"
"My wife and I have been here twice now and have heard mixed reviews from just about everyone, some people raving and others so disappointed with the food, the price. The good: service is on point. Friendly servers, host, and staff. Manager/supervisor came by to ask how we were doing. I appreciate that touch. The appetizers (especially Blue Dog bread!) were delicious and well done. The bad: the entrees are not that good. This last time we went and got the Caribbean chicken - my wife said it was the most disappointing meal she'd had all month (it was a short month :)). The other meal was better but for what we paid ($100 for both) it was not worth the money. The ambience is great. It's a hopping place."
"sunday brunch!!! the name says it all, it's a cozy little cottage though it has elevated food. great service. i should have taken a picture of the drink menu. they take pride in coming up with original cocktails. i like to try biscuits and gravy everywhere i go and these were delicious! i liked them even better than the chicken and waffles! wow!"
"This is the best restaurant we've been to in Lexington thus far, excelling in all areas (food, service, and atmosphere). We appreciated their attention to detail in the dishes and drinks, their communication and attentiveness in service, and the calm, cozy environment that was neither loud nor rushed."
"We the visited the beautiful Coopers for Thanksgiving dinner today. Since we had a bit time before we ate and went for a wine tasting. Tessa "T" was amazing. She explained the different wines and served with a smile. As we went over to the restaurant we ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The meal was beyond exceptional. Cooked to perfection and very very tasty. This was by far one of the best Thanksgiving meals o have ever eaten. But the service... sigh... our waiter Johnny kept helping everyone but us. He didn't bring the bread at the beginning, hardly came to our table, kept ignoring us. We wanted to order an additional drink and after trying to get his attention for the 3rd time we had to shout a loud "Hello!! We would like to place a drink order" to get his attention. Then - we waited over a half an our to get our dessert.. nothing.... He helped everyone but us. We finally flagged down another server to bring it. He saw that another waiter helped us and asked: How is everything- I was not in the mood for smallTalk anymore and just asked for the check which he promptly forgot to bring... after an additional 20 minutes - he looked at us and said "ohhh the check... well I forgot..." We ended up spending 2 1/2 hours at the table a I would say 1 1/2 was wait time.. still giving 4 stars because Coopers is overall one of my fav restaurants. Only one thing for sure- I won't be sitting in Johnnie's section ever again..."
"Hands-down, the best pizza in the Greenwood area! This photo says it all! My grandson was so excited when this huge pizza was brought to the table. Service is always fast and friendly, the pizza is amazing, made in a wood burning stove in the front!"
"This was a good brunch spot. The service was quick and the wait time wasn't too bad! The portions weren't huge which I appreciated. I wasn't wowed but overall a good experience."
"What an epic meal in every sense of the word!!!! The food, the service, the ambiance!!!Emily is a gem of a server, and the food was absolutely fantastic! So glad we were all in town for a conference to come here!"
"We went here for restaurant week and it was very good. First of all the restaurant is very big and it's very pretty. A little noisy but nice. We ordered the red wine braised short rib with horseradish mash potatoes and peas carrots and pearl onions. My sister got the meatloaf with green beans and carrots. The pomegranate martini excellent. The crème brûlée magnificent The only downfall the veggies. They were bland and felt like they were from a frozen bag."
"I've been here two or 3 times before. I've never been disappointed, it's just not necessarily my go to type place. I'm more of a chill beer and burger type girl over a fancy dress up for an expensive dinner type girl. However, if you're looking for a nice place to take someone on a first date or an anniversary or something like that, this is a perfect place in Columbus. But make sure you get reservations! The last time we went, I got the Thai coconut curry tofu. My husband got the salmon. Both were absolutely delicious! Pricey, like I mentioned, but delicious so it was worth it. I'll probably be back again at some point for some special event!"
"100% my favorite steak place!!! This is genuinely my go to spot for a well seasoned ribeye or NY steak! They use wood burning grills outside and engulfed in smoky perfection! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, I've never had to wait long on getting an amazing and affordable meal, and I never have regrets coming here. I typically order the small steak and usually end up taking half home. Key tip, ask for the steak au jus sauce to go if you plan to reheat later. Put the steak and au jus in a pan on your stove top on low heat to warm up, and it's like having it at the restaurant all over! I recommend the ribber fries which are like lighter fluffier Saratoga chips. I ask for mine crispier though. Also, the beer battered onion rings are on point! Top it all off with a local beer brewed literally next door, and you're set! Enjoy one of the best restaurants Portsmouth has to offer folks, you will not regret it!"
"I was in town on a work trip and a few of my colleagues and I decided to meet up for dinner my last night in Louisville. Fun fact: They have two locations, so just know that before you show up at the wrong one, lol. This restaurant is tucked comfortably in a small shopping strip, has a small patio with outdoor seating, a bar area with televisions, and a dining room area. The restaurant was absolutely freezing the day I visited and that tends to impact my ability to eat. While that wasn't something the staff could help me with, they were super friendly. Our waitress was even kind enough to help me charge up my cell phone battery during my meal. While all of that was solid, the food is what missed the mark for me. They are described as a mix of cajun and American food which was easily evident after reviewing the menu. I got a caesar salad, the crab cake appetizer with a side of vegetables as well as an old fashioned cocktail. My drink was alright, but not my favorite. The crab cakes were pretty good but the vegetables were cold and not seasoned well. My salad was huge with your typical caesar ingredients, but also not my favorite. I give this place a solid three stars because in my opinion it was just ok. But go ahead and visit and see for yourself!"
"Great local spot that serves fresh made, seasonal, locally produced food. Every time I visit I'm happy with the food and service. I decided on the biscuits and gravy this morning. The gravy was velvety smooth and the sage was a nice addition. The biscuit was fluffy, buttery and filling but not a lead brick in my stomach. I added an egg on top. The next time you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal. A+!"
"Hands down the best breakfast placeExactly 35 minutes from our and it's definitely worth ever minute. The food and service is the best around. Make sure to check out our favorite breakfast spot Brisket bowl - the bottom layer is cornbread, seasoned potatoes topped off woth Brisket shredded cheese, cheese sauce and eggs anyway you like itPrime rib eggs bennie- a twist on the traditional with sourdough bread, a light layer of horseradish, Spinach, prime rib, pouched egg, and creamy hollandaise sauceBacon was extra crispy per our request and deliciousBiscuits and gravy had so much flavor Don't skip out on the homemade sourdough bread so light and fluffyI hope everyone has an amazing New Years Eve"
"Pleasant comfort food diningWe have recommended this café for years. The service: pleasant. The ambience: pleasant purpose built café with abundant parking.Dining: Very good - take time to review breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu.We like portions which are not at inflated prices. The tariff is appropriate for the fare."
"Amazing birthday meal! We love Merrick. Best steak in Lexington. And we always get the wedge salad. The blue cheese dressing is absolute perfection. Our waiter was prompt and accurate. I love their updated patio area and new inside bar area - it's more casual and modern, but still charming!"
"I came here with a friend on Wednesday for dinner. We were able to sit outside and it was a wonderful meal. The waitress greated us by brining us water. I had the chicken parm and my friend got wings. We both got the sweet potato fries. All of the food was delicious! I would get the same thing all over again. The sweet potato fries are a must no matter what you order."
"Food and service was amazing! I was with a couple friends and this was their first time - both of them loved the place. Our food was delicious and ambiance was nice, cute little place."
"Great ambience = upscale but relaxed. Great service (Jennifer). This is oenophile's paradise. I do not typically drink wine but did a flight here and they were all excellent.Blackberry Old Fashioned was great as well; though I had to mix it so it was mixed very well at all.Deserts were all great, but their specialty is a blueberry-lemon cake that is phenomenal."
"Revisited Eppings for happy hour with a friend after my last experience a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. We got the around 4 :30 on a Thursday and were sat immediately. Our server Nigel was phenomenal and the food was better than I remember. The blue crab bisque is my favorite thing. You MUST order it! The small plates we ordered to share were: the rosemary focaccia, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, arugula and beet salad that was on special. Everything was tasty although some things did take a while to get to our table. There was some confusion with the desserts (I ordered a butterscotch bourdine that was on special but received a apple cake) so I won't review them but overall a lovely experience. Ask for Nigel."
