"Isaac was super sweet thank you for your kind service. Veggie spring rolls were so tasty crunch wrap supreme. Who is Mr sushi and why did he?Thank you kisses"
"Fun fact: I'm not the biggest fan of the Ichiban in Mt. Lookout. Their service is slow and their food is only adequate. If I feel that way, why did I choose to visit their Mason location? It was a matter of convenience, really. I was in the area and wanted sushi, and decided to give their other restaurant a shot. This Ichiban is located in a strip mall on the corner of Snider & Tylersville. The restaurant is much bigger on the inside than it looks and can accommodate large parties. The first time I went, I was seated promptly with a friend and we dove into the menu. My friend recently moved to Cincinnati from San Diego, so one thing she's getting used to is our "half-price" sushi. Yes, the fact that it's always half priced makes no sense. But we enjoy the sense of a bargain in Ohio!We sampled the menu - gyoza, edamame, and karaage were our appetizers. They came out one at a time and we enjoyed every last bite of it.We each ordered 2 rolls, and I also added some salmon sashimi since that's my absolute favorite. All the sushi was delicious and delivered promptly. The food was so good and inexpensive that I came back for lunch the very next week! They offer a lunch special of 3 rolls plus soup & salad for $9.99. What a steal! The sushi is fresh, the prices are great, and it's never too busy in Ichiban Mason. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!"

"I recently enjoyed a wonderful hibachi dinner at Sake Japanese Steakhouse. We started with two fresh and flavorful sushi rolls, Dynamite & Bonzsi. The hibachi chef was both skilled and entertaining, making the meal interactive and funFor the main dish, we had stir-fried vegetables, rice, and a delicious assortment of steak, lobster, shrimp, and chicken--all cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and the staff was attentive throughout the mealOverall, Sake Japanese Steakhouse offers great food and a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!"
"Here I was thinking I would be the first one to review but I forgot to submit the draft so let's just take that part away. We came shortly after their grand opening and we had high hopes as we have enjoyed the Kura place in Columbus that has a similar vibe. This place is different of course but they are definitely trying to keep that certain vibe going! You can either pick up stuff off the conveyor belt or you can order on the tablets at the table and it will come out in these varying designs of trains. Really cool! One time we came between lunch and dinner and the sushi did not taste great. Probably because we were between the rush and some of the stuff had been out for a while. But we came during dinner another time and everything tasted great. I feel like the price is good for what you get. I used to go to a revolving sushi place back on the West Coast a lot 10 years ago and even though prices are higher, so is everything else. Definitely a good meal and a lot of fun! All the maid to order stuff is pretty good as well including the desserts. Service is always top-notch as everyone wants to refill your water and make sure you are well taken care of."
"La Hiro is located right near the Sakura Japanese Grocery store over in Florence. It's quite a bit of a drive, but we stopped by when I came back to town from my flight into CVG.I assumed that this place specialized in sweets since it's in the name, and so I was determined to try something out. We came in around 2:30 PM and they still had the lunch menu available, so that was a relief since usually dinner is expensive, though I'm not super knowledgeable about their menu or the differences to say the least.Generally, their dishes aren't too terribly expensive. I ordered a Tonkatsu and the SO ordered sashimi. The tonkatsu was about the size of my palm, came with sauce and a mini salad. All of it came with miso and salad. The SO's sashimi came with 3 pieces of each fish and also came with miso and salad. Just the way that my dish was presented, you could tell there was something a little bit different. The owners take a lot of time 'designing' and plating their dishes. You could really see and taste the 'homemade' love with an inkling of elegance. While the portions aren't excessive, and the prices might not be completely on point (speaking specifically to non-main kind of entrees), you are eating a meal made with a lot of heart. This is really the first time I've experienced this. The whole place bleeds of heart and you can tell that it's a restaurant where the owners had dreamed of opening it, where the husband wants to serve fresh fish, and the wife wants to make delicious and beautiful desserts.I was bummed that they didn't have the green tea cake, and even though it was late by bakery standards, they had many cakes and sweets still available. It doesn't seem like all of them are on the menu, so you I'm assuming she's always experimenting with new techniques and flavors. I opted for a raw cheesecake with a jello top with cherry blossoms, or sakura, imbedded. The dessert was so delicate yet rich. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't heavy at all. I could have eaten the entire slice by myself! Overall, the bill came out to be about 26$ for 2 people, filling me up quite well, though leaving him a bit on the half full side, and with tip bumped that up to $30. It's not any more expensive than other legit Japanese restaurants, though I wish it were closer! I'll definitely be coming back to try some more cakes :)"
"Love this place!! Excellent food and service! The sushi is incredibly fresh. Even our toddlers love this place."
"Phenomenal food and service. They gave us free egg rolls like a steak house gives you bread. They were some of the best eggs rolls ever. Their thai tea is excellent and exactly what I expected. The chicken hibachi was reasonably priced, extremely fresh, and high quality. The noodles themselves were so good it makes me want to order a dish with just them and some chicken. This place may not look fancy from the outside but if you're in the area I highly recommend you stop in and try it!"
"I have been going here for years for my Japanese food fix! You can go during lunch depending on the day and get more bang for your buck. The staff are always welcoming. You can sit in booths or have a table where they cook infront of you. I have celebrated birthdays here, got together with friends and never have had a bad experience here. The sushi selection is good here and fairly prices overall. Definitely go check them out!"
"This restaurant used to be known as Tokyo Dragon and was one of my favourite Asian restaurants anywhere at that point. This was my first visit under it's new name and let me tell you it was as good as ever. They have an absolutely beautiful restaurant with a huge water display with lots of fish in it. There's also lots of really awesome decor hanging around everywhere in the restaurant. While they have a full menu I really enjoy their large buffet with my favourite part specifically being the hibachi grill. I love getting shrimp, crab, and scallops then loading them with the hottest spices that they have available on the bar. Then the chef cooks it all in soy sauce and a freaking fantastic dish is born. The buffet has everything from General Tso's Chicken to a really good black pepper chicken. There's also lots veggies, a full fruit and salad bar, a dessert bar, and a few different sushi options which I really liked. There's other things too and there really is something for everyone here. This is all super high quality and super delicious food and I highly recommend this awesome Asian gem in Alexandria."
"This is my favorite place. I love the Volcano roll. And you can't go wrong with anything else that you would order."
"Matsuya is absolutely worth a trek to Florence. I loved my first visit so much that I came back 3 times with friends in a span of 2 months! The decor was very cute and felt very rustic. I liked how they had a large tatami room with low tables for reservations. The food was very unique and the kaiseki set gives you a large quantity of food and is definitely enough to share with another person. The sushi was masterfully prepared by their chef and I could tell they took great care in the food they serve. Would say that overall the wait time was a little longer for the courses, which we didn't mind, but if you're in a hurry, probably not the best place to come to. We felt that the quantity of time between courses allowed time to properly digest!"
"This is one of our favorite places to order sushi. Rolls are a little on the small side, but still great value and taste. We also always get the spicy ramen which is made in egg drop soup which is amazing. I do miss their old location which had a lot of character, but we still enjoy going to the new location often. Service is always good and we can usually be in and out relatively quick. Always recommend people try here when they say they like sushi."

I found this place on Yelp during a trip to Cincy which landed me at a hotel right across the street. After browsing through their menu I decided to go ahead and order some takeout. It was easy because I could order directly through their Yelp page. I placed an order for veggie spring rolls, a house salad, the Wild Summer roll, and rock salt shrimp. It was ready in about 30 minutes and goodness, it was a lot of food. I had enough left over for a snack later in my trip and it came out to about $35. The spring rolls came as an order of four. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The rock salt shrimp came with jalapenos, which made it a bit spicy, but the yum-yum sauce was the perfect condiment for it. The house salad was basic, like what you would expect, with a yummy ginger dressing. The sushi roll was enormous and I couldn't even come close to finishing it. Thankfully my hotel room had a fridge. I can totally recommend this spot. Word on the Yelp street is that 3.5 stars for sushi/Asian fusion restaurants is the sweet spot.

This is the only place I'll get sushi from! It is so fresh and they also have the best miso soup I've ever had. Service is excellent as well.

Our meal here was very satisfying and entertaining. Service was above average receiving refills without having to ask. I got the grilled chicken while my wife enjoyed the steak. Portions were plentiful and tasty. Just a very nice evening!

It was a super neat place and can get expensive for what you get. I got 16 plates and it's less than 3.00 a plate. I was full as I tried different kinds of sushi. If you order from the menu it will arrive via train and drinks and the ramen will come by the robot. It's a neat place to eat. Service was excellent as the explained how everything works and to keep your lid for them to tally up your bill. The food is what you somewhat expect. Not a high end sushi shop but better than the Chinese buffet sushi. Items that were sashimi, the rice fell apart when dipping the fish in the soy sauce. Not a big deal but it gets a little messy and that is the 1 less star. I would go back since I cannot get what I get here without buying a roll and the variation of the different types of sushi.

My sister's go-to place for sushi from Cincy, we order takeout and take the drive bringing everything back home. We ordered unagi/eel nigiri, two spicy tuna rolls, and a spider roll. The spicy tuna rolls were the best. It was my first time getting that roll and not having it be mushy, finely chopped tuna with spicy mayo holding it together. This roll was a strip of tuna with spicy mayo squirted down the line of it assembled like a subway sub. Cut into sushi-sized pieces, each bite was proportionate in fish-to-sauce ratio and felt incredibly fresh with the larger chunk instead of the usual paste-like filling. The only complaint I had about our order was the spider roll was incredibly salty. I didnt finish it because it was throwing off all the other goodness. I think it mightve been part of the batter potentially but wouldnt stop me from going back, maybe just not ordering that one.

Quite possibly the best sushi I've ever had! We love this place. It's nice for a date night with your spouse but not too nice to not take the kids. Service has always been quick and courteous.

Food was fair. About what you would expect in an Asian food restaurant. Food delivery was fast. Service was good. She was efficient and polite.Ambiance is similar to a Waffle house. The thing is that they had a television on, and the programming was of violence and the volume was very loud. Not appropriate for a dining experience. It is more like a sports bar. Not willing to experience this place again.

Probably one of the best Hibachi restaurants in the tri state. Most are all the same, with the same menu, but Kabuto stands out above the rest in service, portions, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I paired my steak and shrimp combo with an iced cold Kirian Light and I was a happy man.The show / performance was great for first timers, but I rather just skip all that and cook it up and serve.

"Best sushi I have ever had. Fresh fresh fresh!! We got sushi boat and it did not disappoint. Service was awesome with a smile and a nice perk of banana sushi at end. Cozy place. Would not have guessed from outside would be this gooooood!"
"I'm not a huge hibachi fan, but this place changed my mind. If you go in expecting a Benihana style show, you'll be disappointed, but if you're looking for a great meal, this is it. Service was consistent, though a little slow. It was ok for me because I enjoyed the delicious cocktails (try the Cherry Blossom Lemonade) while we waited. Appetizers were good, but the star was the main course, particularly the rice. Omg, straight buttery goodness and cooked to perfection. Asian flare inspired the decor and there are movies playing to keep you entertained. They do take reservations and I suggest you make one since it was a little crowded even on a Thursday. Definitely worth a try!"
"Decent sushi. The meal off the hibachi grill was pretty average as Japanese Steak House fare goes. Not disappointed not wowed. The presentation/personality of the cook was way low key. I kinda expect that cook to be totally entertaining and high energy. Again the food was fine. We felt a little crowded at the table too. Would have waited for the next table to be sat and be less crowded."
"Good spot to stop at for some cheap food if you're really hungry. Tasted great but the variety isn't too wide. Dessert was even less of a choice. Management could be a tad less micro-managy but other than that was good. Really weird to do a buffet during Covid though, so if you haven't done that yet, be prepared to be served and try to communicate your requests to the staff. Communication with them was a bit tough, possibly due to language restrictions. All in all a great value spot."
"Since moving here from California we've been looking for good or even great sushi. We came here to check out their sushi bar. I noticed right away that it was quite warm inside, even a little uncomfortable. If you're headed here, I'd suggest you dress accordingly. As for the sushi, it was good! Jason, the sushi chef, is very personable and makes the best sushi we've had since we've been in Cincinnati. The beer was cold & the margarita was prepared quickly, which stands out to me, as many times there's a considerable wait when I order mixed drinks at restaurants. Our server kept up on our drinks, sides, and had a sweet demeanor. I'd recommend Sakura for sure!"
"I love this place. Top tier service and food. I've been loyal since they've opened"
"I have missed this place so much. Every time we come here we are not disappointed. We also leave so full we are about to pop. They do have some plates and hibachi, but we come for the sushi. They make a variety of fancy rolls if that is your thing. We usually get the All You Can Eat special. ($24.95 lunch/ $29.95 dinner) There is a specific menu for this and you have to sit at the bar. The options are nigiri or some simple rolls and hand rolls. The only rules are you must eat what you order and eat the rice. Oh and of course no sharing! Not that you will want to. You can order multiple times- so pace yourself. All the sushi is fresh made to order. My absolute fav thing here is the vegetable roll. I know weird for a sushi restaurant but I have never had anything like it. It is colorful and filled with a variety of veg that add pickle/ salty/slightly sweet/crunchy combo that is yum. The sashimi and nigiri are also very goodMy son got some gyoza today and it was very flavorful and the sauce was good too. Very large portion."
"I've come here many times mostly sitting on the habachi grill side. However this time we sat on the normal seating side. Honestly this was way more convenient because you can order the same food that's on the habachi side without the clanking. We were sat quickly and served in a timely manner. We started with the crab Rangoon and you get 6 and they were fabulous! Most of the table got the typical hibachi meal and it was also great as always but my mom got the chicken/shrimp teriyaki and she thought it was great but said if she did it again she'd just do the shrimp. Like usual we had leftovers so a nice portion!"
"I'm a fan!I'd heard of Fusabowl as one had opened up near me when I lived in Clifton. I had almost forgotten about it until we learned a new one had opened in Mason. This new location is small and I imagine people do mostly carry out. Everyone was very friendly and helpful since it was most of our first times there. I went for a bowl since I wasn't in much of a sushi mood. I got the Yum Yum bowl with half chicken, half tempura shrimp, and all of the standard veggies that came with it. I wanted to crab rangoon and was happy to see you could order 2, 4, or 6 pieces which let me get just the right amount. They have complimentary soy sauce and 1 bottle of sriracha if that's your thing. My food took less than 5 minutes to come out and was brought to my table by the cashier. I was very impressed with the size and amount of food you get. And everything was very good. I'm adding this to my lunch rotation!"
"Visited this location at lunch while traveling on business. I was shocked at how good it was! Sushi in a smaller midwest city could easily have been basic but this was an excellent surprise. Service was very quick, and the place nearly empty on a Wednesday afternoon. Sushi selection was decent, with all the usual rolls, sashimi, and apps. We shared several rolls as a group and all of them were top notch - perfect mix of savory and spicy. Miso soup was on point too. I'd definitely recommend it. It may not look like much from the outside in the middle of a little strip mall of shops, but you'll be pleasantly surprised."
"This is some of the best sushi in town. You would never guess based on the outside but this place is the real deal. Most sushi in Cincinnati is pretty bad but these guys deliver and have ridiculously low prices. I'm talking real sushi not deep fried trash. Fish is good. Rice is good. Rolls are good. Sashimi is perfect. Don't judge a book by its cover. Get here now."
"I love the atmosphere and all the notices along the wall of their community service. It makes you feel good about spending your money here. My favorite times were from the Korean side of the menu, especially the oreo shaved ice"
"My husband and I are always looking for more Japanese restaurants to fall in love with (hello, Japanese Steakhouse in Columbus!), so we decided to try out Sakura in Springfield. If we could give 1/2 stars on Yelp I would definitely be giving this place a 3.5 out of 5. A 4 star rating seems a bit generous, but we actually enjoyed most of the food and the interior was nice and clean so a 3 just wouldn't be fair. When we first entered the restaurant at about 3:00 pm, all of the overhead lights in the hibachi dining area were turned off and it was pitch black. They said they could turn on the lights for us if we wanted a show, or we could sit in the bar area without a show which is what we chose. I had a bowl of the hot and sour soup, which was just okay. Not a ton of flavor but it was full of mushrooms and other chunks so that was a plus. For my meal I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, which was awesome! The chicken was grilled with sauce and very tasty and served on top of grilled onions and green pepper, but you also got a side of fried veggies (not greasy and super delicious!), 2 steamed pot stickers (great, especially when dipped in the little portion of sauce they give you), and 4 little crab and avocado sushi (I'm not a fan of any sushi or avocado, so I wasn't into these at all). My husband ordered the Katsu, which was a flattened chicken breast lightly breaded and fried but not greasy, sliced and served over shredded cabbage. You also got a side of dipping sauce which tasted great on the very simple yet delicious chicken. Waitress was friendly but couldn't really explain a lot of the meals to us, and it was weird being in a pitch black restaurant in the middle of the day for lunch, but the bar area looked very cool and when we left they were turning neon lights around the hibachi grills on, which also looked pretty neat. We were very impressed with our entrees and the super affordable prices, so I could definitely see us going back again in the future. Though it wasn't on Japanese Steakhouse level it was leaps and bounds above any Chinese buffet you'll find on every corner so it's nice to have a tasty Japanese option a little closer to us than Columbus."
"1. Staff is the NICEST and FRIENDLIEST. They really go out of their way to make sure food and service is great quality. 2.They really transformed the interior to look brighter and cleaner! 3. Their dishes are a great price for the flavor. We loved every single thing we ate. I honestly would go back if they ever decided to raise their prices. 4. Wide variety of options on the menu. I'm confident there's something for everyone here. Definitely sharing this place with friends!"
"I had wanted to try this place for a while but was afraid of disappointment. I was so pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked in! Much bigger than I thought it would be. Ladies in front of me were struggling to order but the worker helped them through it. I had hibachi steak with fried rice, carrots, zucchini, broccoli and onion with hibachi as my cooking sauce and yum yum as my side of sauce. So good, so fresh, so tasty, great containers, great portions! Will be back!"
"I'm from northern Kentucky and when miyoshi closed. we were sad and I would say it's the same and quality of food. Definitely more of a selection here and the wait staff was very kind and good was so good we are going to eat there again."
"The food was very good and the service was great. It could use a little bit more decoration inside but everything else more than makes up for that"
"Honestly this place was where my husband and I had our first lunch togather. We stopped to have dinner there tonite. The place looks very different! They have all the tables spaced out, and even got rid of the ugly carpet. The population was pretty sparce. The waitress was attentive and prompt. I did a sunshinrle rol, tuna roll and a green roll. It was pretty all right. My husband did a pick 2 (chicken and steak). We enjoyed our meal and our waitress kept our drinks topped off.General population, I would recommend this place. If you have seafood allergy (like my husband) i would not recommend it right off the bat. We informed them he has allergies, but half way through his meal he had triggered reaction typically associsted with indirect contact (so maybe a tool that sliced shrimp was used to cut veggies). They may not be as familiar with allergen cross contamination.Overall good place unless you have allergies"
"The food here is very good and the service is great. The ambiance is okay. Employees here are very friendly, snd hrlpful. One if my favorite places to eat."
"I have a sad teenager, and yummy food can help. Popped on by to get some of their chicken Katsu Ramen and sushi. We were able to get in and order right away. The post was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'm looking forward to an awesome dinner. We took it to go so I can't comment about the ambience but I like this place. This is a nice little spot. I know a lot of folks in town that love to order from here. Very popular."
"I generally avoid food court anything. It's not a pompous attitude thing. It's all the bad experiences I've had in the past. We were due at Penney's salon at 5:00 and it was already 4:30, so we drove here and took our chances. While I'm no Japanese food connoisseur, this tasted pretty darn good to me. Mrs. E. being the teriyaki freak that she is, gave a thumbs up to both the Beef Teriyaki and the Chicken Teriyaki. I wasn't wild about the Vegetarian D'Lite, but the Chicken & Shrimp Tempura and the Maki roll were out of this world. Here's an added bonus. These kids speak fluent Spanish and they're super friendly. I can't wait to get back to the mall to see these folk! 12/21"
"Hot Wok did not disappoint!! We ordered takeout recently and were really pleased with the overall cost, timeliness, and most importantly, taste! We'll certainly be ordering from Hot Wok again in the future. Loved my Kung Pao dish and wonton soup!"
