"If you want a peaceful sit to sit outside, enjoy a cold beverage, and relax with a nice view, The Oak Leaf at Aston Oaks is the perfect spot. During the summer, daytime can get quite steamy. But evenings out here are pretty fantastic. They have a retractable shade to block the sun and ceiling fans keep the air circulating. Tables include traditional tables and high tops. We enjoyed a Friday night dinner with plenty of social distancing and I was pleased to see staff wearing masks. Their beer list has all the basics but includes some local beers on tap as well. The 50West Amber paired well with my prime rib sliders (I order that every time because they're really good!)"
"Best course in area and ranked #2 in state. Views are beautiful course in great shape. Jeff, founder of Penn Station found a way to get people to drive out this way and while not cheap the prices are better than courses half this quality. I should become a member someday."
"I have not had much experience with World of Golf. My eldest was invited to play some mini golf here. Mini golf course was in good working order, especially for an outdoor course. Some well know NKY landmarks show up in miniature. Boone County Distillery, and the Florence water tower are part of what is represented. Scoops are available if your ball finds it's way into one of the water features. Along with mini golf, there is also a golf course, driving range, pro shop and snack bar. Driving range had some obstacles, targets set out. Snack bar offers various snacks, drinks and pizza. A youth golf team was sharing a selection of whole pizzas. The snack bar provided paper baskets for the kids to eat out of. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. Plenty of parking. Parking is both infront of World of Golf, and along the sides."
"Anyone would be hard pressed to find another municipal course in SW Ohio (or anywhere) as picturesque and well managed as this entire operation (owned by the city of Springboro, I believe). The course boasts 4 levels of tee boxes on some of the prettiest land to be found around this area. There are lots of hills, swales, water holes, and it's immaculately groomed and challenging enough from the back tees to test even the pros. There is a stream running alongside maybe 6 or 7 of the holes with water that's so crystal clear you can see carp, minnows and bass on the prowl as if it was an aquarium. Lots and lots of mature trees, some of them specimens, line the course on numerous holes. There is a generous fairway landing area on all but 1 or 2 holes, where they pinch it in so much that an iron off the tee is the way to score. Big greens on every hole except #15 (wicked!)The restaurant and lower level bar and grill are A-ok also. There's a solid pro shop with much Heatherwoode branded gear; a nice changing room with lockers and showers; and plenty of water coolers on the course. Every time I play here, all facets of this operation run smoothly. The practice range, the putting green, and chipping areas are first class and then some; you have to see it to believe it, so impressive. Many private clubs can only wish their operation looks and plays like this one. Check out my picture of the new ball feeders on the practice range that actually tee up your practice balls automatically. WOW, I tried it and it's amazing. Why didn't someone think this up a decade ago? OK, I'm going golfing now."
"Played here 4 weeks in a row for 9 holes after work. Course in decent condition. It has multiple tees. Plenty of fairway and greenside traps. Different variety of layouts. Greens are inconsistent in terms of speed. Nice employees. Gas carts. Big practice green. Driving range. Longer rough."
"This new clubhouse is wonderfully situated with great, expansive views of the rolling golf course. We had heard several recommendations from friends/neighbors and people seem excited to have this great spot within walking distance. We were not disappointed! The indoor ambience is more like a clubhouse than a bar, of course. But the outdoor veranda is gorgeous! We sat outside overlooking the course, drank cocktails and beer from plastic cups, selected good food (for the price!) from a basic menu of burgers with chips ($5),grilled cheese w/chips etc. Great casual, weekday evening with friends! We will definitely be going back on a regular basis."
"Incredible place off the beaten path. Most people have seen the golf course while driving by on 275, but not many know of the great restaurant overlooking the island green hole. I had the ravioli and my wife had fried chicken, we both loved it and sat outside overlooking the golf course. They have a TV outside on a covered patio and great service."

I've been to Aston Oaks GC a couple of times. I often forget about this place being a regular restaurant open to all. The food here is actually decent and service was friendly and prompt.I always order wings if they are in the menu. They were good wings cooked perfectly. Next time I'd request them with a bit more sauce. My son devoured his bbq wings and was asking for mine.Beers served either draft or can and were cold, no complaints there. Full bar with a great tender.I'd recommend this place for a casual diner overlooking AO golf course or even a large group in the banquet room next door.

This course is so great! In immaculate condition and the price is very reasonable! It's beautiful. The course is challenging but very fun! The staff are all so helpful and friendly. Make sure to grab a transfusion in the bar at the turn! Only thing needed here are tee box number markers. I'll be back again very soon!

Didn't come for the golf, just the food at Tin Cup but it's worth checking out!! A good variety of burgers, pizza, chicken, salads and apps. The adults and kids in our group all liked their food. Definitely try the pretzel sticks with their special cheese sauce, I loved the cheese!! They have crinkle cut fries which are always my fave. I don't golf but I feel like it would be a good place to go before or after playing. Or just when you are there for a night of putt putt! I need to go back for a burger.

Right now this is my favorite course in Dayton. The course is in great condition and I love the grass. It is a beautiful course. The 5pm green fees are very well priced and a great value. True greens, true yardage, and challenging.

Thank you Mariam for the awesome lessons!! I have been too shy to go and take lessons and admit how bad I am LOL. The hubby and I have been going here for quick evening dates and lessons. We have had a blast especially with our training Ms. Mariam. She is very patient and direct on her coaching. You get great tips and knowledge from her. Now, beware that you can see King's Island from where you practice so if your like me you may get a little distracted and start day dreaming of riding the rides. Ok, that is just me. So back to golf. I've got some practicing to do but I feel confident to go out on the course and play a few holes.

Been a couple of year since I've played here and I was very impressed with the club house. They were on top of the COVID stuff but seemed to be operating smoothly. The course itself hadn't changed much and neither has my golf game. That golf course eats my golf balls like Pac-Man eating those pellets. Typical club house food (not a bad thing) and good prices. I'd play again!

Extremely friendly rangers and staff. The course it self is mostly flat and is easier to play than some of the other courses in the area.

"A beautiful and accommodating place to hold a reception, I recently attended the festivities here for my friends' wedding. Starting out, this place was more difficult to find than Area 51. Armed with both printed directions and my GPS, I can't count the number of times I had to back track to find this place. At the property entrance, there was no sign; something essential for a facility that sits back from the road. Fortunately, getting here was my only complaint.Upon arrival, I was greeted by a stunning country club surrounded by the rolling greens of the golf course. The staff was attentive and welcoming. One of the first people I met was the chef, who told me the perfect spot to take photos of the bride and groom. He also has a tradition where the groom serves the bride dinner and pulls out her chair for her at the table. It's an elegant presentation; a special gesture for my friends' big day. Throughout the evening, staff was on top of bringing out hot food, refilling the hors d'ouvres, and bussing plates. There was a server who came around to each table to collect cards and presents to set aside in the couple's gift room.I really enjoyed open access to the soda fountain and beer taps. Wine and liquor were also served at the bar, but being able to pour your own eliminated waiting for a drink. Wine pours were generous, getting a glass filled up to the brim no matter what kind of wine was ordered. The food was delicious, particularly the appetizers: BBQ meatballs, salami and cream cheese rolls, pizza margherita, soft pretzels, crab dip, gourmet meats, cheeses, and fruits. For mains, we had a buffet. This was neatly set up in the adjoining veranda, which prevented guests from bottle-necking out into the dining room. Tables were released by theme song, and servers notified each table if they guests missed their cue. Dinner consisted of a salad bar, salmon, prime rib, and BBQ pork. The mashed potatoes, green beans, and rigatoni pasta were incredible. The country club room comfortably held our mid-sized party, both for dinner seating, mingling, and dancing. While it may be hard to find, Twin Oaks is definitely worth the experience once you arrive."
"Our golf outing was not just excellent but it was exemplary the quality of service from Bob to all of his team Adam, etc., etc. just made for an absolute wonderful event. In fact we raised $25,000 for an absolutely valuable nonprofit all because of the quality of their service and how things ran so smoothly and God bless these people. They're just great people."
"Decent and well kept club. I have only golfed here once and really enjoyed myself. Nice quiet course. Not too difficult but, then again, I am extremely amateur. Well kept green's, fairways and overall a very clean course. I've been there several times to use the driving range and also their putting course. The driving range is set up nicely right near the parking lot. Go inside of the pro shop and grab a jumbo bucket of balls for $10 head back out and hit 'em straight. Once you've worked on your drive, chipshots, wedges, irons and woods, walk over to the putting green courses. There are 2 putting green courses. Each one of them has about 5 holes, or flag's, to shoot at. Good angles, hills and curves. Probably one of the best putting green practice courses I've ever been to. Would I go back? Absolutely! If not for anything else, they have a nice and well kept driving range along with two great putting courses."
"I have now played both nines. Old course with limited breaking greens. Its early in spring. Greens are slow. Small practice green and no driving range. Several holes have water. Nice family run business with restaurant and pro shop. Prices are reasonable."
"We had our wedding here, they have a room for rent for special occasions and I couldn't be happier with them! They really made our special day great and for a great price too! The staff was friendly and helpful the whole time! Highly recommend!!!"
"I really enjoyed my 9 holes here. Probably because I'm working out some of the kinks in my game, and had some shots I was very proud of here, but still it seems like a nice course. It was pretty hilly for me, and therefore challenging, but I appreciated the differentiation. Fairly thin fairways and small greens, but who doesn't like a challenge.I want to give a different idea of the location of this place than the first review. It is near the ghetto, but I would argue the fact that it's in the middle. It is towards the nicer part of the area and you even play in the back yard of some pretty decent houses. One part that contributes to the ghetto-ness is the fact that you have to cross a street, but that gives it character!"
"I recently moved about 15 minutes from here and have played several times this Fall. I've had enjoyable experiences every time; the staff is very friendly. I prefer to walk nine holes alone to get the exercise and focus on my game (not much of a social golfer), and they always squeeze me in somewhere. Sometimes I get caught behind slower 4-somes and have to wait a bit, but it's not a big problem. The course seems very well maintained. The teeing ground, fairways, and greens are generally in very good condition. The three different 9-hole courses (red, blue, and white, in order of length and difficulty) are helpful for keeping variety in your game. I find the course challenging enough to keep me coming back, but I'm not that good.Considering the reasonable greens-fees, I'd say this course is one of the best values around."
"For early in the season, still winter rates, the greens and tee boxes were in good shape.Played 18 on a Wednesday, not a lot of folks out and temperatures hovering around 45 degrees. Gentlemen in the pro shop was very nice and friendly. Stopped at the turn and got refreshments, gentleman there was friendly, too. So, not sure what a couple of the earlier reviews were about. Definitely will give it another shot as warmer weather hits. But for now, nice course, nice folks."
"Very interesting course. Very hilly hard to navigate. Overall is a super fun course to have fun on and challenge yourself."
