"I traveled from Cincinnati, had a job assignment near the area. The local DD wasn't open so I gave this pace a try. The store front wasn't what I expected, was a bit hard to find the entrance. The ambiance isn't colorful or inviting like other donuts or pastry shops. I like that the shop is a 24/hr service. I work third shift so this is helpful for a late night pick me up. Plenty of donut options/flavors. I purchased some donuts for me and my coworkers and some hot beverages. I rate the donut flavors 9.5/10. I wasn't overwhelmed with sugar but donuts were bursting with flavor. Coffee was good as well. Customer service was basic no, complaints. Bakers/workers are doing their best serving the community throughout the day. Smiles can go both ways just be mindful we're all human beings."
"What a gem - exactly what I'm looking for when I'm traveling for work and need a spot to hunker down in to get stuff done. I discovered this coffee shop on Yelp a few days before I got to town. It was right around the corner from my hotel so it worked out perfectly. I arrived to find a space that's much larger than what I expected. It's got an industrial vibe but with a ton of natural sunlight, and some cozy touches... like plants and strung twinkle lights. There's a large seating area to the right, and a home goods shopping + snacks + bakery items, section to the left. You place your order right in the middle. My coworker and I stayed for quite a while. Because of that, I ordered a handful of different things. I started things out with an iced latte and a gluten free muffin. The coffee was exactly what I was craving but the muffin could have been better. A little later on I got a lavender matcha and that was perfect. One thing to note: There's a 45 minute time limit on their free wifi - but once that time is up you can easily log back in for another 45 minutes. This was kind of annoying considering the "time limit" wasn't truly a limit, but I get the gist. Pro tip - Anytime I stay at a coffee shop for a long period of time, I continue to make purchases, hence me getting another drink a few hours later. I suggest you do too so you're not just taking up space but continuing to support the business while you're at it."

"I loved my coffee- but the location inside was a little cramped. The service was friendly and the baked goods were also fresh. A very cute place for a treat-yourself coffee!"
"I tried to post a comment about my visit on the Ghostlight Coffee Facebook page, but rather than comment or follow up on it, they deleted it. So, I'll try to recreate the content here.Their coffees are always good, and today was no exception (hence, the 4-star rating). Their baked goods are usually good too, so when I saw that they had a "Black Forest Cherry Cake", I was excited to get one. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed. Really, you can't just make a chocolate sheet cake, top it with super sugary icing, toss a maraschino cherry on top, and call it a Black Forest Cherry cake. There was nothing about this dessert that resembled a Black Forest Cherry cake. I've attached a photo so that you can see what they made. There are plenty of good recipes online for this, and I'm including one here so that anyone can get an idea about what it SHOULD have been.https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1020807-black-forest-cake"
"Recently popped into CAVU Coffee for the first time and had a great experience. The staff were SUPER nice and helpful. I ordered a matcha, a pumpkin chai, a cinnamon rooibos latte, a grapefruit refresher, and a gluten free maple cinnamon doughnut. Everything was really good. The roobois latte was the best of the drinks. I was excited to try it as I am always looking for a good tea latte and I hadn't had this one before. The doughnut was super tasty and moist. It was pretty pricey, but GF treats often are. The inside of the shop is decorated really cute."
"I'm seriously addicted to the Milk Jar Cafe. My favorite is Ceylon with Milk. I love that you can adjust things like sweetness, ice level, and of course add ons like boba.I do prefer the one in Anderson because of the store atmosphere, but the people who work at both are equally lovely and kind."
"Place is SOOOOO cool. Great vibes for a coffee date or to get some work done. Cold brew and banana bread were 10/10"
"A win every single time. The service is stellar, ambiance is amazing. The food is so good, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. They also have the best croissants in all of Cincy. They have a small bar/coffee stand in the back where they also have pastries, but it is a sit down restaurant as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. Truly a hidden gem."
"I had noticed this coffee shop on a previous trip over here for dinner. I had a day off, and decided to give it a try. Ordered their old fashioned French toast with a side of bacon, and their peanut butter pie latte. First, the latte - very nice, subtle peanut butter flavor. Doesn't slap you in the face. I really liked this. While I was waiting for my food to come out, I had time to check out the vibe of this place. Good music selection playing in the background, not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Plenty of seating. The building sits on a corner, so plenty of natural light coming in as well. Chill vibe, I dig it.Finally, the food. They make their French toast using challah bread, which is a favorite of mine. It was delicious. The side of bacon was a nice serving as well (4 pieces).Really enjoyed this shop, will definitely come back!"
"I really liked this coffee shop (plus bar!) in downtown Cincy! It has a cool, relaxing vibe and has friendly staff to help get what you need.I stopped by one morning before an event I was attending started. Because this was one of the places that was open early on a weekend, I was able to grab a coffee drink and a few pastries to enjoy that morning (and as snack later during the day).Through conversations that the staff had with customers, it was clear this place is well loved by the neighbors and community. The staff and customers even know each other on a name basis!Overall, great cafe with good, friendly vibe! Good coffee+pastries for morning eats, too!"
"Zim's Cafe is a fantastic lunch spot in downtown Lexington. Their selection of appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches make it difficult to choose a meal! The service was very friendly, and I truly appreciated their candor about the sandwiches they thought were made the best in house. I went with their recommendation, and it was worthwhile! Easily a top 3 sandwich shop in Lexington, and I plan to return whenever I am in need of a well-priced and tasty meal downtown'"
"I'm getting in plenty more tusslesNow that I've got lots of musclesAnd when I'm feeling awfulI go get a waffleAnd this place makes them just like Brussels! The kid serving Belgian waffles here was friendly and I gave him a nice tip. The waffle itself wasn't too pricey which I appreciated, and they sell them by themselves (no ice cream or toppings required) which I also appreciated. But when you've been to Brussels and you've had the best of the best, it's hard to take anything sold in America seriously. And while I can take the ones sold in Pittsburgh (Waffalonia) and New York City (Wafles And Dinges) seriously because they taste something like the good ones in Belgium, this one really didn't do it for me.It also wasn't really bad and because of the cheap price and the fact that it's in Cincinnati where you don't expect this kind of thing, I will definitely give it 4 stars. But it's a generous 4 stars and if they could make it taste half as good as Maison Dandoy in Brussels they would have 10 stars out of five for me. Which isn't possible. But I would find a way to give them 10. So 4 isn't exactly a glowing endorsement. Not from me."

I had heard due to new ownership they were worse but I didn't notice it. The donuts were the same. The service was the same. With that said, I think their donuts have always been pretty above average. Normal... good but not memorable, craveable or great.I like that it's fast and convenient. The staff is friendly. They're open 24 hours.

Excellent coffee and a busy place on a weekday morning when I stopped for my first caffeine. My cortado was excellent and worth paying for as the flow of customers definitely had the baristas working hard.I found a table with a power outlet and was able to connect to their wifi with ease. I stayed about an hour and a half and would have gotten a second coffee except that my parking meter was running out. Cincinnati wants its dollar per hour for sure.Great spot, great coffee.[Review 20474 overall - 203 in Ohio - 1454 of 2023.]

Our all time favorite coffee shop! We are here at least 1x a week! We LOVE the seasonal menus. They always have a fun theme, always have unique flavors, and it's so fun to see what they create next! The baked goods are always delicious & they offer a variety of options that change daily. Highly recommend any of the pie bars if you get a chance to grab one! Vibe is perfect It's what you want in a coffee shop. Comfy, cozy, humming with a little coffee chatter, good music, and live music (sometimes)! And they live up to their name with bikes in the back - mostly vintage bikes, but it fits the theme!

"California Dave here.... I cannot wait to enjoy this fantastic, impeccable, family-owned legacy Ice Cream Parlor !Nick and his loving, polite staff are exactly why this business is in it's 4th generation making everyone in Cincinnati smile with joyI'm coming back to Cinci next month to visit family, after over 20 years...Wow, how time flies.Hoping my old friend and I can enjoy a sundae and reminisce about the olden days"
"Fantastic spot bustling with people, great smells and merchandise! It's in an unassuming area but loaded with pleasant vibes and delicious and unique flavors. I ordered a large Banana Miso Latte with oat milk and it was a lovely blend of creamy banana and savory miso aftertaste. Worth it! They have ample sweet and savory snacks and treats. A good size parking lot and ample seating options inside and out. Don't miss out on this shop!"
"This is a nice little diner on main street in the heart of town. We went in and were seated immediately. It was a crowded diner because it was lunchtime on a Saturday. We've never been here before and we like little places like this. The ambience is nice on the inside. They have TVs and a bar and local memorabilia. The food that we got was good. I got a chicken fried steak mashed taters wife got BLT and chips both for $10 so good price the owner was super nice. He walked over and gave us free pie because we had to wait a little longer than usual so he was very nice overall I do recommend it and I would go back."
"I drive from Harrison to come here for breakfast and/or coffee pretty regularly. Their avacado toast is the best I've ever had. The garlic aioli on it is ridiculously good. (You can actually buy a jar of it--highly recommend.) I haven't had a bad meal, and I've tried like 4-5 different things. The staff ("Mom" who owns it with her grown kids) are hardworking, accommodating, friendly, sweet, and helpful. They're always doing yummy seasonal changes, listening to customers, and clearly put so much heart into ALL their locations around the area. "Mom" is always working on something when I'm in there. I love her energy.Oh! Also, the pastries in the case are to die for. They usually sell out, but that egg nog puff pastry they have around Christmas is fire!Great place to grab coffee and work. Lots of places to lounge and the interior has a great vibe. I've been meaning to go to their other location near me because apparently they have different menu items that are equally delicious.FOREVER a customer!"
"Short & sweet review to highlight the many wonderful things about this coffee shop. The location is great, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the coffee is made with care. It's pretty easy to find street parking nearby, since this shop is on the corner of Elm and Ninth. I stopped here to work remotely for a few hours on a Thursday, and I would definitely come here regularly. There was smooth R&B playing, which totally amplifies the creative, community vibe this place has. I love the wall mural and the decorative art that highlight Black culture. The prices are also right on ... I ordered a "Woah Latte" and a bagel with cream cheese, and spent about $10. The barista was extremely thorough, asking what type of milk I preferred, and how to spell my name. I also love that they feature desserts from Sweet Petit! I'll definitely be back to the intersection of Community & Culture very soon!"
"Yelp, you did it again! I was driving through town and needed some coffee and a snack before I continued on my journey to Columbus. After a quick search, I found Cream + Sugar. Several people I know personally had left glowing reviews, so I knew before I got there that I found a gem. I arrived to find a super cute coffee shop on the corner of the street. There was free parking right outside and the entrance was surrounded by beautiful potted flowers. There were giant windows that offered a glance inside and immediately after opening the door I heard two kind voices welcoming me. The walls are a vibrant blue with colorful paintings of Black women hanging above a seating area. On the other side you'll find the menu on giant chalkboards above the barista station. As someone who regularly works out of coffee shops, I felt inspired here. If I had time to hang out, I totally would have. Other patrons had the same idea, as they had their laptops open and were typing away. I ordered an iced lavender latte with almond milk and goodness was it delicious. Lavender is my favorite and I'm always excited to see it on a menu. I also got a buttered croissant, which was just what I needed to hold me over until I got to my final destination. I have no doubt that one day I'll visit this coffee shop again. It's Black-owned, clearly supports local artists, and has a food menu that I was itching to try. All things that I love."
"Wonderful independent bookstore with a fantastic coffee shop and lots of cozy nooks for sitting and enjoying a read and a warm drink on a cold day. Dog friendly, too! Love that they carry a large selection of local authors in addition to new releases and lots, lots more."
"This place is too cute! Such a homey feel with all the books and seating I love places like this. It's relatively quiet place so perfect for studying it getting work done while enjoying some coffee/tea & a snack. There's a nice patio area outside that I can't wait to try in the summer! It's also a great place for vegetarians since there's a few options on the menu!! I had the veggie hummus sandwich which is nIce & light. It paired well with the white peony tea I tried. Can't wait to be back!"
"We just moved to Hamilton and thought I'd try True West. I love it! Had a George Bailey sandwich and this ain't Subway, homie!;...Packed with turkey & straight up delicious! The severs are sweet and brought my food & drink to my table while I sat in their peaceful, cute dining room. They also have a drive thru & outdoor dining. The menu is complete with sandwiches, salads, wraps & all kinds of delicious coffee, tea. Also, great music! of different genres minus the not so good genres. Lol! I'll definitely be here a lot!"
"The best cheesecake in the city of Cincinnati. I also always get a seasonal coffee while I'm there. The menu is always so fun and it is such a cute space."
"Charming coffee shop with plenty of comfy seating to sit alone and work or have conversations. Chai latte was hot and delicious and the staff super friendly. The only disappointment was the styrofoam cups for the drinks. It took away from the flavor as well as the vibe."
"This is going to be my new favorite chilling and reading coffee shop! I was immediately greeted by the nicest person manning the counter and guided through the menu as it was my first time. I ended up getting the Crosby club and the dulce de leche latte which were both special for summer. I sat down in the beautiful rich interior with plenty of cushy chairs, and incredible blue built-ins filled with books and Knick knacks! Love this place, will be back."
"Great apple fritters and a good variety of donuts. Excellent coffee selections. Also their Kettle Danish are delicious"
"Coffee is always good, service is quick, baristas are always friendly and my dog loves the pup cups."
"Been a regular the past year and still love it everytime i come . Good food and drinks , friendly service , and laid back ambiance approach with a local charm ."
"It was wonderful! The food was incredible, so delicious. There was one lady working when we came in, but she welcomed us very warmly, made fresh injera, and was a very attentive host. We'll be back for sure!"
"One of the best places ever. We travel and go all over the U.S. The food choices, quality and taste are magnificent. The lattes are incredible we had a second over dessert (next time will be dessert). Amazing environment and the other patrons are absolutely dedicated and make the environment even more homey and friendly. Great staff too. We can't wait to come back!"
"The Triple Moon is truly one of the best kept secrets in the heart of Middletown. Large windows and comfy seating areas invite to relax. Grab your table when you come in, then order your goodies at the counter. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The staff is amazing and soooo friendly!! Try one of their frappes - yum! *** The cafe also offers vegetarian and vegan dishes."
"We recently ordered takeout from here. Due to a medical illness, I can't go inside because of germs. I got the Pork Belly Ban Mi and it was really good. The bread is great. The Pork was nicely seasoned. Needed a little more sauce because it was a little dry. I can handle spice, but in the second half of the sandwich there was one bite that just lit me up. They were very thoughtful and packaged the vegetables separately for the to go order so the sandwich wouldn't get soggy. The vegetables were incredibly fresh! Cilantro is so refreshing. The pastries were fresh and great as well. Will be getting again."
"Amazing place! Staffers are normally exceptionally kind. The inside is amazing and the food is so good! The idea of a cookie dough scoop alone is amazing! They have fun things inside as well. For example, there's a gumball machine with a chance go get free ice cream. There's also fast times, and so many options!"
"Great little spot in Mason for a steamy cup on a spring morning. Great ambiance, eclectic interior, exactly what you're expecting. Somber guitarist on the air waves. Cappuccino had a smooth start and finish without high acidity. Great foam art, fun little joint overall. They stay pretty busy with tons of laptops open around the room and people just enjoying being, so parking can be challenging!"
"Food was good. I had the Turkey bacon melt which was good except they had used ham instead of bacon. Not enough of a deal breaker to send back. Fries were hot and fresh. Kiddo had 2 huge buttermilk pancakes. Ordered a side of hash browns (they were okay) and an excellent side order of bacon. Husband liked the breakfast bowl which was a large portion size."
"I haven't got a chance to try the food yet and I say yet because it smells amazing when you enter the shop. I did get a latte her though and they're one of the only places I know that have sugar free white mocha and when I say it was amazing I mean that. For sure the best coffee I've found in this area"
