"I went out of my way to get some of these delicious truffles. I first tried one of Ruby's truffles at the Cincinnati Food and Wine Festival. I might have been one of those people who had 3 samples (sorry, not sorry). Later in the event I went back for more and was sad to learn that they were out. But, I recently found out they had a store in Oakley and went that day. First of all this store is super cute. There is a sitting area for you to sit and enjoy your goods. It also is a good place for a quick photo op with the "Here Comes Truffle" sign behind you. Ok, here comes the food stuff. I practically ordered the whole store. My order consisted of the, get ready for it .... the bacon brownie truffle. Yes, that's a thing. The red velvet truffle, cookies and cream truffle, and the carrot cake phatty cake (which I do believe is only offered at the Oakley location). It was tough to only limit myself to these items but I did it! All of them...I repeat all of them were soooooo good! Moist delicious and that bacon brownie truffle is a thing of beauty. If calories weren't a thing, I could have eaten at least 20 of them. I can't wait to go back, I'm already thinking of my order."
"This is just the most adorable shop in the heart of downtown Old Milford. Another gem to this community. There are nice tables out front and plenty of free parking nearby. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They have everything here from small gifts, to bags of coffee, every candy on earth, fudge, macarons, and even cards! I tried some fudge, got a cute mothers day gift, snagged one of their last St Pattys Day hot chocolate bombs, and tried the macarons. Everything was great and I know the gift will be loved. As it was off season, they did not have chocolate strawberries readily available, but if you call ahead they will make them by request! I cannot wait to come back and try those among other things!"
"Been shopping here for so many years...when it began it was actually in Bellbrook! Betty Blose makes a special blend of milk and dark that has repeatedly been voted Best in Dayton. Everything is made from scratch, and you'll still find Betty here on occasion, but I believe she's pretty much placed day to day operations with her family.During these uncertain Covid 19 times I hesitate to go out, but I know these people and I know they will exercise every precaution. And it just wouldn't be Easter without their candy! I was the only one in the store but employees on a recent afternoon and they even shared their personal grass for my basket to save me another stop. Cause that's how they treat all their customers...just like family. Had so much fun deliverying to family porches, ringing their doorbell and waving to them when they picked it up. They were all thrilled, just as I am with my own personal stash. When you're craving sweet, this is the place to go!"
"4 stars for the chocolates and 1 extra for the amazing customer service! Certainly good cake truffles. I first tried Ruby's Chocolates at Martha Stewart's Food & Wine Festival in October in Cincinnati. They were featuring their Red Velvet and Turtle Cake Truffle. They were amazing, so I figured I had to actually go to their location and try more. When I looked up their location, I was surprised to find they are 8 min away from my house. I was super excited. I went by and tried them! I was greeted by Ali, the son of the owner. I also believe he is the Selling/Marketing Director. He gave AAMAZING customer service and was very personable. I ordered the bite size truffle box (12 truffle minis in a box). They had premade ones but I wanted my own flavors. They did this with no question asked or frustration. I had to wait 30-40 min for my custom box to be made but I talked to Ali for the most part. The owner, also came out and spoke as well. I had my youngest daughter with me (3 mon) so they both were admiring her. This business is a mom and two son trio. The other son came out as well at the end! All are very sweet! It was Halloween and the owner's birthday so they threw in 3 chocolate covered Oreos for my oldest daughter (3 year-old). How freaking sweet was that?! The chocolate covered cake truffles I got were Red Velvet, Key Lime, Turtle, Maple Bacon, Cookies and Cream and Chocolate. All of them were good and of course lent a different flavor. I'm not a big Key Lime fan but believe it or not the Key Lime flavor was very good! All of the truffles had a tender moist center with a chocolate outer shell. My favorite was probably Key Lime. I'm normally a huge Red Velvet fan but something about the way they make the Key Lime, stood out to me more. The Cookies & Cream was also very good. The Maple Bacon was good and different. Also, the truffles are pretty rich (especially the chocolate ones) so a 12 mini box will last you awhile. We still have over half a box in the fridge. They store well in the fridge. We take small bites out of them just for a sweet fix and put them back.Overall, Ruby's Chocolates has amazing customer service and good chocolate treats. This place is good for gifts for friends or family depending on the occasion. Definitely give them a try."

Holy Chocolate, Candyman!Ruby's is a very small store but this is truly a case of "it's not what's on the outside, but what's on the inside"! And what is inside, is SWEEEEET!I dare anyone not to overbuy at Ruby's. Furthermore, I dare anyone to walk out with just one thing or even have an easy time deciding what to take home. I've prepared tax forms easier than trying to make the decisions I had to make at Ruby's.So here are some examples of what I brought home:Milk Chocolate Turtle BarkDark Chocolate Turtle BarkCookies 'n' Cream BarkMilk Chocolate Covered Rice Krispy TreatRed Velvet Truffle CakeMint-to-be TruffleMaple Bacon Truffle Cake (you will never find a cuter confection in your entire life!)Carrot Cake Truffle CakeBacon Brownie Truffle CakeCookies 'n' Cream Truffle CakeMilk Chocolate SquaresTruffle Sampler BoxGummy WormsJoy SticksI believe my take home list illustrates my personal lack of self control and how good Ruby's is. It was actually somewhat embarrassing and shocking to actually write it out.If you're looking g for something specific, and you don't see it, ask for it. If you're looking to do something specific, personalized or creative - call them. They will be more than willing to work with you.Beautifully and creatively decorated, Ruby's is a cool little spot to visit. It is a candy wonderland with a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you're buying a treat for the kids or want to bring something different and really make a splash with a gift, you need to stop in. You won't be disappointed.Would I go back? Yes, but..... In speaking with the owner Sina, we connected that there is another location closer to me in the Liberty Township, OH area. This location was about an hour from me, in rush hour traffic. So I may not frequent this location, I was very happy to hear of the other location in my area. Myself, my dentist and future endocrinologist are all looking forward to my return to another Ruby's Chocolate's location!

Having grown up in the area, I have a fondness for Milford. It's a nice little area to spend an afternoon strolling through the shops, seeing what they offer and talking to the owners/workers, if you want. Then, heading to one of the eateries. I stopped here because I saw a tip on another geolocation app to get the sea salt turtle - so delicious! It is giant ad worth every penny! I ended up buying a little bit of everything because I was going to be seeing my gramma who LOVES chocolates and she enjoyed these! I've sent my parents by to pick up a chocolates for holidays, because this is good stuff! I spent a little time talking with the owner and even got the low-down on the condos being built by the river and other shops in the area. I would love to see this street offer something monthly similar to Final Friday, Oakley after Hours in the warmer months. As for the decor, it is its own style and doesn't seem to affect what they offer.

Love this place! Ok, what's not to love? How's the chocolate? Last year I bought some buckeyes and gave one to my neighbor. She said it was the best chocolate she's ever had. Customer service? They are really nice, friendly, and helpfulVariety? Yes! From fudge to chocolate covered potato chips to shortbread. Prices? Reasonable One note: it's not in Bellbrook. It's in Cross Pointe Center.

@RubysChocolates are a; wonderful, local, family run business based out of the almighty Nati!*Firstly...I can't help but agree with picture number 5!! We visited their location in Oakley, and we were blown away by the service quality, the selection of chocolate delights available for us to choose from, and the gorgeous, quaint little space in which they sell their wonders.*We opted for an array of treats including some of their signature bark, truffle cakes, and so much more. The beauty of Ruby's is that it doesn't just deliver quality, but also, their chocolates are so very affordable. Unlike some store purchased chocolates at $20 a box, we enjoyed a vast amount for a mere $8! Thinking ahead to Valentine's Day...make sure Ruby's is at the top of you list, and support this superbly run local business!* www.rubyschocolates.com*3923 Isabella Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45209*

My wife has brought home these treats twice. They have cake pops with chocolate or vanilla frosting. one had a blueberry on top. Cake has been vanilla, chocolate or maple flavored. They have cute piggies with bacon on top. All very good and rich. 30 dollars for a 6 pack is a little high. Individual ones are around 6 dolkars

"This place needs to look into a app called joes coffee to help expand their business because they have a great product more people need to know about."
"A former boss of mine, originally from Dayton, gifted me a 2 lbs box of assorted milk chocolates last Christmas. Probably one of America's top chocolatier. I rate this better than Sees Candies and Ghiradellis, and on par with Godiva and Lindt. I decided to return the favor the next time I came to visit my in-laws who live here part of the year. It wasn't long after that I was referred some more business from him. As they say, "one hand washes the other." Looks like I'll be coming back for more later."
"Happened to wander by this gem while walking through OTR and Findlay Market. Super cute old-fashioned, yet elegant vibe. The young lady working the counter was super helpful and quite knowledgeable about the store brand and the individual pieces. Bought a collection of pig truffles (visit was shortly after the Flying Pig Race). There were two types: vanilla interior and rich chocolate, both with the adorable pig heads. I purchased mostly the small sizes. They were sooo yummy that I popped over to buy another set of 6 large truffles of assorted flavors a few days later when I was in the area for an event.Purchases are packed up in beautiful gift boxes and pretty pink bags that you won't want to throw out. Reuse as a gift bag!!"
"We had Dinser chocolates gifted to us for Christmas! I don't live in the area so I've had a difficult time finding the yelp page. The chocolate made by the chocolatier and owner of the shop is absolutely delicious and unique. I'm so grateful that I got to try them and can't wait until they are open again so I can order more! I especially like the raspberry caramel filled ones. My husband enjoyed the mint chocolate and Christmas white chocolate mint. Also, I just called the shop recently (during the Covid-19 mess) and the answering machine had me cracking up. Update: When I called this week there hours after reopening have changed a bit. Open 11-7 Tuesday thru Friday. Sat 9am-3pm."
