"Old Time popcorn and candy shop. The popcorn is outstanding, the candy selection has something for everyone, but what really sets this place apart is the ownership and the employees. Every time I have set foot in here, the staff has been super friendly, super helpful and just a pleasure to interact with. Around the corner from Hyde Park Square (behind the firehouse), it's a little out of the way, but do yourself and seek this place out for a snack or a treat. I guarantee you won't be let down!"
"It was very cute inside the place. They had a lot of option for Frozen Yogurt and toppings. The staff were super friendly and informative. They also have a party room where my husband and I are thinking of having our daughter's 2nd birthday."
"This is just the most adorable shop in the heart of downtown Old Milford. Another gem to this community. There are nice tables out front and plenty of free parking nearby. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They have everything here from small gifts, to bags of coffee, every candy on earth, fudge, macarons, and even cards! I tried some fudge, got a cute mothers day gift, snagged one of their last St Pattys Day hot chocolate bombs, and tried the macarons. Everything was great and I know the gift will be loved. As it was off season, they did not have chocolate strawberries readily available, but if you call ahead they will make them by request! I cannot wait to come back and try those among other things!"
"This is the best little candy store around! First right across the street from a movie theatre! I love it. ..you can buy candy from today's treats to the treats we had as little kids. Plus they have bottled drinks of all sorts. Tonight I walked to a display of dill pickle cotton candy. In the back is a variety mix where you fill a box for $5 of anything you want. Last but not least they play the movie Willy Wonka on the TV screen around the clock."
"Candy, candy, and more candy! Oh the nostalgia! If you want all the old school candy and soda your heart can desire, this is the store for you. This is a fun store with all the old school vibes. You name about any candy and I'm sure it is there. They even have ice cream for cups and cones. My little heart smiled when I walked in and saw all of the candy I grew up on. They even have what is called Grandpa Joe's $5 Candy Buffet. I surely participated in this! It's where you get a box and fill it up with all the candy that can fit from a certain section in the store and it's $5. The only rule is the lid must close. Man oh man, my lid closed, but barely! Lol! It was fun and even more interesting to see how much candy I could stuff in this box. Definitely, go by Grandpa Joe's and experience all the nostalgic vibes!"

This place is adorable and the staff is SO FRIENDLY and knowledgeable. Though the place the is tiny, it is stocked full with goodies and multiple flavors of popcorn! They have everything from chocolate to gummies, Harry Potter Chocolate wants and even peanut butter dog treats. The main event is of course popcorn and you can even watch them make it behind the counter. In the front, they have samples you can try before you buy it and if you have any questions feel free to ask the staff. Today they said there signature flavors were the caramel corn and their seasonal cranberry mix that also contains white chocolate. After trying a couple I went with the Chicago twist (caramel and cheddar) and cookies n cream. The cookies n cream even contains bits of oreo throughout the bag!I definitely recommend stopping here soon to buy some treats for the holidays or just to treat yourself! A 7 oz bag of popcorn was only $4.95. Their prices are quite reasonable given the quality of their product!

Oh. My. Gosh. Ella's is so good and made all my frozen yogurt dreams come true. I haven't found truly a good froyo place in years, until I stumbled upon this gem.Their staff were young kids that were extremely friendly and professional so hats off to you guys. I got the alpine vanilla and chocolate with toppings and it was delicious. I'm from fishers, IN and I would gladly make the trek to Ella's just for their froyo. Overall 10/10! I also noticed they are christian based and it's just another reason to support this business. Spreading the word of God and froyo....sold.

Having grown up in the area, I have a fondness for Milford. It's a nice little area to spend an afternoon strolling through the shops, seeing what they offer and talking to the owners/workers, if you want. Then, heading to one of the eateries. I stopped here because I saw a tip on another geolocation app to get the sea salt turtle - so delicious! It is giant ad worth every penny! I ended up buying a little bit of everything because I was going to be seeing my gramma who LOVES chocolates and she enjoyed these! I've sent my parents by to pick up a chocolates for holidays, because this is good stuff! I spent a little time talking with the owner and even got the low-down on the condos being built by the river and other shops in the area. I would love to see this street offer something monthly similar to Final Friday, Oakley after Hours in the warmer months. As for the decor, it is its own style and doesn't seem to affect what they offer.

On the charming main drag of downtown Miamisburg is Grandpa Joe's. You'll find sweets galore in this little shop. Oldies but goodies that taste like childhood (Circus Peanuts, anyone?) along with novel treats from around the world, a jelly belly dispenser by flavor, and artisan chocolates. A favorite seems to be the $5 build your own box of candy. Whatever you can fit in the box, you can have for $5. Fun for kids of all ages. A word of advise- you may want a box of chocolatey candy and fruity or your gummy worms will taste a little chocolatey. But who is mad about 2 boxes of candy?

Great go-to spot for gifts, holidays, or quick treat! I love this store for its variety, convenient location, and friendly, fast service. Quality here is superb. There are so many delicious options it can be difficult to choose but the chocolate covered Oreos (opt for the variety pack with white, milk, and dark chocolate covered!) and chocolate filled eggs have to be my favorites. After many visits over the years I have never had any negative experience--it's like Disney World for chocolate a lovers taste buds.

This is such cute candy store. They have several locations, but I visited the one in Troy, Ohio. You feel like you are walking back in time. They have a special where you can fill a box with any of their bulk candy for just $5. It is a fun treat especially for kids. They also have a section for old time candy favorites like Razzles, gold mine gum, dots, and the list goes on. What a fun place to visit.

"I brought my French friend here since she didn't know about fudge, as soon as we walked in the door she smiled and was like "Thank you America". We were greeted by a young worker who was so friendly and nice to us. She asked if we wanted to sample anything and gave us our options on buying in bulk or just by the piece. My friend Laura, bought a half pound of assorted chocolates which included a buckeye, and some others. Also when we checked out, the young woman gave my friend some additional chocolate for free which included some chocolate covered oreo's and a caramel apple."
"I was walking by and decided to stop in to see this new candy store. It has a huge selection of candy and a few other novelty items, such as coffee cups and unique socks. I bought a pack of Red Vines (my wife's fav candy) and blueberry pomegranate licorice. Nice!Needless to say - I'll be back!"
"Stop here! Worth the visit. Service was great. Girl behind the counter smiled the entire time we ordered. Everyone on the car had a different drink and everyone said that it was the best coffee they had ever had. Get the beignets!! Orders two orders! Cool atmosphere. We played cards while we waited! Looks like they had a few lunch items, but had lots of cookies and desserts. And liquor!! We will stop on our way back home also!"
"4 stars for the chocolates and 1 extra for the amazing customer service! Certainly good cake truffles. I first tried Ruby's Chocolates at Martha Stewart's Food & Wine Festival in October in Cincinnati. They were featuring their Red Velvet and Turtle Cake Truffle. They were amazing, so I figured I had to actually go to their location and try more. When I looked up their location, I was surprised to find they are 8 min away from my house. I was super excited. I went by and tried them! I was greeted by Ali, the son of the owner. I also believe he is the Selling/Marketing Director. He gave AAMAZING customer service and was very personable. I ordered the bite size truffle box (12 truffle minis in a box). They had premade ones but I wanted my own flavors. They did this with no question asked or frustration. I had to wait 30-40 min for my custom box to be made but I talked to Ali for the most part. The owner, also came out and spoke as well. I had my youngest daughter with me (3 mon) so they both were admiring her. This business is a mom and two son trio. The other son came out as well at the end! All are very sweet! It was Halloween and the owner's birthday so they threw in 3 chocolate covered Oreos for my oldest daughter (3 year-old). How freaking sweet was that?! The chocolate covered cake truffles I got were Red Velvet, Key Lime, Turtle, Maple Bacon, Cookies and Cream and Chocolate. All of them were good and of course lent a different flavor. I'm not a big Key Lime fan but believe it or not the Key Lime flavor was very good! All of the truffles had a tender moist center with a chocolate outer shell. My favorite was probably Key Lime. I'm normally a huge Red Velvet fan but something about the way they make the Key Lime, stood out to me more. The Cookies & Cream was also very good. The Maple Bacon was good and different. Also, the truffles are pretty rich (especially the chocolate ones) so a 12 mini box will last you awhile. We still have over half a box in the fridge. They store well in the fridge. We take small bites out of them just for a sweet fix and put them back.Overall, Ruby's Chocolates has amazing customer service and good chocolate treats. This place is good for gifts for friends or family depending on the occasion. Definitely give them a try."
"A former boss of mine, originally from Dayton, gifted me a 2 lbs box of assorted milk chocolates last Christmas. Probably one of America's top chocolatier. I rate this better than Sees Candies and Ghiradellis, and on par with Godiva and Lindt. I decided to return the favor the next time I came to visit my in-laws who live here part of the year. It wasn't long after that I was referred some more business from him. As they say, "one hand washes the other." Looks like I'll be coming back for more later."
"Happened to wander by this gem while walking through OTR and Findlay Market. Super cute old-fashioned, yet elegant vibe. The young lady working the counter was super helpful and quite knowledgeable about the store brand and the individual pieces. Bought a collection of pig truffles (visit was shortly after the Flying Pig Race). There were two types: vanilla interior and rich chocolate, both with the adorable pig heads. I purchased mostly the small sizes. They were sooo yummy that I popped over to buy another set of 6 large truffles of assorted flavors a few days later when I was in the area for an event.Purchases are packed up in beautiful gift boxes and pretty pink bags that you won't want to throw out. Reuse as a gift bag!!"
