"Tried Rivertown for the first time while in town. Food was mediocre. The burger was OK. It tasted like a froze. Patty- I don't know that it is- just on the same par. It had a very strong pepper taste. I ordered it without the bun. Our party had the Ruben as well and it was ok- it was compared to Arby's and Arby's winning. The positives: service was GREAT! Our waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive. It was reported that the crawfish étouffée was "very good." The dill ranch was good as well! It was pretty quiet and there was only one other table. I could see it being a fun place to have a drink or two and meet up with a friend. If you're looking for a place with good atmosphere and service and don't really care about quality of food, this place is right on par!"

I looked it up on Yelp - eek, one star? Hmm, three angry reviews from three Yelpers with single digit review counts. Combined. I gotta see for myself!Annette was the barmaid, great positive attitude and welcoming to newcomers. About 10 other people eating, drinking, and smoking. Everyone seemed happy. Food was decent although the fried bologna slice was way too thin for a sandwich. Tasted great though. They have TouchTunes jukebox and a pool table. Plenty of seats. Bathrooms very clean and the hot water was hot. Big parking lot.There were at least three employees on the premises. I learned that the current owners took it over about a year ago. They do not yet have live music but that may be coming. Six taps, bottles included PBR and Mich Ultra. No IPAs, reasonably stocked liquor shelves. Three beers, cheeseburger & fries, fried bologna sandwich = $25.Maybe in the past this bar was not a good place- that would've been before my time- but it's fine now. Come on in."

"This restaurant is located in a very small strip mall and has a small parking lot to go with it, that they share with other businesses in the mall. They have a rather large dining area with televisions placed around it. You will find a little photo op here with their neon lighted wings. The place was really clean and had a hip cafeteria like vibe,They serve burritos, tortas, quesadillas, cemitas, and of course tacos. For the littles they have cheese burgers chicken fingers, hot dogs, and cheese quesadillas. I highly recommend getting one of their fruit waters. I got a Lemon with cucumber and it was so delicious. mmmmm. They also have pineapple, melon, strawberry, and horchata,I ordered a birria taco and a chorizo burrito. It took them about 6 minutes toi have my food ready it was hot it was hot and fresh. It tasted good but I had a couple of issues with it. First, it did not come with any sauces/salsa. There may have been some available but I did not see them. I may have had to purchase them, but I am not sure. Either way, they should be included. My second issue was that even though my burrito was huge, it only had a small amount of chorizo. There was so little chorizo that I thought I had gotten the wrong burrito. As I mentioned, the food was good, but could have been a bit better. This is a decent option for some authentic Mexican food and I recommend checking this place out if you get the chance."

"Visited Mad Mikes today.after reading some of the reviews, both good and bad, I had to try it for myself. I had the Big Tex Burger and fries. The sandwich was huge! And it was flavorful . Was it the absolute best hamburger that I have ever eaten; not really but it was good and filling. The fries were good and abundant. The price for my meal was very affordable, I was very pleased with the cost of my meal. Other comments were disparaging about the decor; this is a renovated storefront that was clean and well maintained. While it was not the heavily decorated chain restaurants if you are more concerned about where you eat than what you eat this may not be the place for you. I consider this a hole in the wall restaurant and I like it! Good food and plenty of it what else do you want?"

The space is gigantic so even if there are a lot of people here you still feel like you have some breathing room. Right away, I couldn't believe how many taps they had. They had a great local beer selection but one thing that was weird was that they were served in small plastic cups which no one was a fan of. The prices were fair, and the staff was friendly. The place could use a good scrub down, and it is not fancy by any means, but a solid neighborhood spot and a great place for groups to stay entertained. Can't wait to come back in the summer to check out the patio and volleyball courts!"

"The Corner Cafe at the Leland is located in the Leland Legacy, a senior apartment complex in Richmond, IN. Years ago, it was the Leland Inn, a hotel. A few years ago, the Corner Cafe at the Leland opened up in the Leland Legacy. I had heard good things about it, and I wanted to try it. My first time was last year, and I thought it was delicious, and I wanted to come back. But with my schedule and the short hours and the limited days they were open limited that. I finally got to come back today, and it was great! I ordered the special of the day, the Stuffed Chicken Breast, along with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Fresh Fruit, and Coke Zero. It was all delicious! The people working there were very nice. I want to come back sometime and try their other food. I just wish they were open more hours and more days during the week. I told one of my friends who now lives in Michigan about this place, and he wants to try it when he's back in Richmond. It is well worth it! You won't regret it!"

The quality of service and food has jumped significantly! Our steaks were perfectly grilled. The sides we ordered were served hot and fresh. We also enjoyed an Old Fashioned bourbon from the bar. Excellently crafted, with one solid round clear ice cube. Perfectly mixed with a generous amount of bourbon. The Ally has stepped up its game significantly from mediocre service of the past. Kudos to the management and all the employees who have worked very hard to improve the Ally!! Hat off to you all and great job!"

We're always thrilled to see new life spring up in a shuttered restaurant. But especially in an historic venue. All the menu items are unique but the appetizers are my favorite. There is enough to share and the variety is interesting. The atmosphere is refreshed with a sleek modern look on the first floor. Upstairs, there is ample seating with plank tables and benches.
