"This is easily my go to Chinese! Love this place. Not only do they have a fully stocked lunch/dinner buffet but the menu is filled with super yummies!I've been going to this restaurant for over ten years. I rarely am disappointed. I usually get the chicken with mixed vegetables and steamed rice. The egg rolls are good! My oldest daughter lives for their cream cheese puffs. Perhaps I ate them too often when pregnant with her. Don't be discouraged by the decor and seating area of this place. I like to think of it as that local diner dive feel. The service is amazing. The wait staff is so polite and nice! We are there so often that they know us and we often chat it up about the kids and how they are growing too fast! Carry out service is super quick!"

"This restaurant used to be known as Tokyo Dragon and was one of my favourite Asian restaurants anywhere at that point. This was my first visit under it's new name and let me tell you it was as good as ever. They have an absolutely beautiful restaurant with a huge water display with lots of fish in it. There's also lots of really awesome decor hanging around everywhere in the restaurant. While they have a full menu I really enjoy their large buffet with my favourite part specifically being the hibachi grill. I love getting shrimp, crab, and scallops then loading them with the hottest spices that they have available on the bar. Then the chef cooks it all in soy sauce and a freaking fantastic dish is born. The buffet has everything from General Tso's Chicken to a really good black pepper chicken. There's also lots veggies, a full fruit and salad bar, a dessert bar, and a few different sushi options which I really liked. There's other things too and there really is something for everyone here. This is all super high quality and super delicious food and I highly recommend this awesome Asian gem in Alexandria."

"Located inside of Blue Licks State Resort, this buffet restaurant is very similar to the other Kentucky State Park resort restaurants that I so love. I was there on a weekend, so maybe they were bringing out their best, but I was impressed. I was being good that weekend and only got the salad bar options. It's a few dollars cheaper than if you choose to get the hot bar options too, which honestly isn't a bad deal, but I was motivated to eat as healthy as possible. We ate here a few times during our stay in the area. Each time service was great and we never had to want for refills. One time I ordered from the menu, instead of getting the buffet. The breakfast burrito is what I ordered and it was filling and overall a good way to break the fast."

"Empire Buffet was a dandy Asian Hibachi/Buffet we found in Crescent Springs. It was an absolutely gorgeous restaurant with a great water display with fish at the front of the restaurant. There was a gigantic assortment of options ranging from both Asian favourites to some American options. Their Hibachi part was not operational during our trip which was a little sad but not a huge deal. I stuck with the Asian cuisine including getting some delicious General Tso's Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and pepper beef just to name a few things. This was probably my second favourite Asian Buffet I've found in the Cincinnati Tristate area thus far with only Twin Dragon in Westchester topping it for me. The service was very good and capped off a fantastic lunch for us."

"Came on a Monday evening so there was no wait at all. Sat ourselves as directed and was quickly greeted. Food was amazing! The fish came out fast and was a great snack while we waited on our entrees. While we were sitting we could hear commotion from the kitchen which sounded like arguing but it didn't concern us so we just chatted but it brought attention to how quiet the restaurant was. No music or audio to drawn out personal conversations. The tvs were later cut on. Dinner came and we tore it up! Got full half way through and took the rest to go. I'm in love with Indian cuisine and will definitely be back, sitting farther away from kitchen!"

"We were visiting in the area and needed a quick meal, so we ordered take out from Asian Buffet. Our order was accurate and the food was ready at the promised time. Check out was easy. The food was okay, some dishes better than others. Hubby ordered General Tso. He said that the chicken was dry and not crispy. He suspected that it had just been scooped out of the buffet warmer rather than made fresh. The rice was fine, standard fare. My vegetable dish was also pretty standard. The vegetables were cooked tender crisp, but the sauce was very salty. My son's chicken lo mein was also pretty standard, good, but not over the top. We were all craving water the rest of the day, so the sodium level in seasoning was probably a bit heavy handed. Overall, we were satisfied with what we received, Americanized Chinese made for quantity, not necessarily quality. We were not disappointed, but not wowed either."

"We were in the area and decided to try this place out. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in a long time. We went during lunch and they were busy but seated promptly. This is one of the bigger one I've see and was clean. I took samples from a lot of different items and tried different soups. They were all good and no complaints. I my opinion, you need to go to a busy buffet so that all the food is replaced and not sitting there. They have your basic sushi that you would find in a buffet, different types of soups, a lot of regular food that people who didn't want to eat Chinese food, a Mongolian grill which has a lot of items. They had a big dessert section. I couldn't tell you all the items I got but it was good and I would go back if I was in a mood for fast cheap food. Oh yea, it was a reasonable price compared to restaurants that I have eaten at lately. I gave it a 4 star because I can't give a buffet 5 stars since the food good but not exceptional."

"Every time I come to Kentucky, it's generally for a big racing event so of course people are waiting in line to go to Tony's or Frank and Dino's or Dudleys. But no trip for me is complete without coming to masala. The food here is just phenomenal. It's a touch on the pricey side which I feel like it's kind of been a trend with Indian food as of late. But you won't be disappointed with the quality or the portion size. This is just a little hole in the wall and a shopping center. That's pretty close to the freeway so it's very convenient to get to. The non-is so fluffy and hot and it just makes a perfect pairing with the sauce even though I know that's not how you're supposed to eat it. I also love all of the vegetarian dishes. This time I got the mushroom matar and the spice level was just exquisite. I took home all my leftovers for a meal the next day. And even though I had to refrigerator, I was gross and let it sit out and then I ate it anyways ....cold. And you know what... That shit was still good If you like Indian food, or even if you've never had it, and you want to try it; this is your spot"

"Decided to bring 26 people for a Birthday party. I gave them a week's notice and they said they had a room that was separate from main dining. It worked out perfectly. Food was constantly refreshed, they had plenty of friendly and efficient staff. Staff also didn't seem to mind us getting up, walking around and visiting each other ( some places are annoyed by this behavior). We would definitely do another party here. "I really enjoy this new addition to downtown dayton. There is a lunch buffet every day but I didn't get the lunch buffet. I got dinner. I ordered the Fish Sabaz, vegetable samosa, and Chai.I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and also the curries. The Chai was really good and was spicy, and the samosas were really filling too (it had a lot of spices also inside, and came with two sauces. The only thing that I would change is the curry had some weird tasting carrots. I'm not sure why the carrots were like that. But the rest was good. I would like to come back for the lunch buffet. Also, I wish there were more fish in the curry, but I guess fish is probably not a popular option at the restaurant."

They even have a hibachi grill. For two people at lunch we paid less than $30 including drinks. "Emzara's Kitchen was an inexpensive lunch option with a large variety of food to choose from. They have plenty of indoor seating to escape the heat too. This restaurant is a buffet. Adults are $16.99 per person, kids four and under are free. There is a large indoor dining room with more indoor dining upstairs. The covered patio offers outdoor seating if you prefer. The buffet was well laid out with two sides, offering identical options. The front section is the salad area and hot entrees are along the back. Off to the side is the dessert bar, soft drinks, and coffee. The selection here was impressive. The salad bar had varieties of salads, fruit, and breads. The hot food area had fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, fish, mashed potatoes, and more. There were at least half a dozen dessert options. The coffee area had brewed coffee as well as options for fancier coffees and a large selection of creams and sugars. The food wasn't bad! I'd say it's better than most buffets at this price point. We arrived shortly after opening so everything was fresh and hot. I enjoyed the fried chicken and all of the tasty vegetable options. The variety was perfect for my toddler and she ate a good amount of food. The to go cups for coffee were great so that I could continue enjoying my coffee as we explored the zoo. I'd definitely eat here again if I find myself at The Ark again."
