Jason H. "Not just your average Wing and Beer spot!I'm not your "craft beer guy". I don't have any apps. I don't try to see how many craft beer places I can rack up in my profile. I do like wings quite a bit and like having a beer. Picking this place to meet a friend was literally a middle point for two friends to meet. And did I luck out!Let's start with the Wings. Over the years, I've really grown to despise some of the "Big Wing" chains. You know, like the Oxlike Grazing Mammal Crazy Wings chain. Over the years, some of those have come to be the fast food of wings. So, if I want wings, I typically find the best spots to be independent or smaller regional chains. These wings were big, meaty and sauced to absolute perfection. Look - You can't really write a whole book about a plate of wings, so I'll keep it simple - These are some of my new favorites in the area. Great sauce selection as well. Not a huge sauce list, but there's something for everyone and they seem to hit all the classics. One downside on the wings. I believe the come in 10pcs and up. The first time I went in, they let me do a 5 and 5 mix of two sauces. The second time, I was told that they don't do that. the next time I go in there, I will ask again. If I have to pay more or get them naked and ask for two sides of sauce, I'll do that. I like to mix it up a bit.And now, the beer. I'm not a beer connoisseur. I would highly recommend one of their sampler paddles. I believe you get 4 or 5 to try. For me, that's perfect. There is a lot to choose from and they have a really diverse selection. Lagers, IPA's, Darks, Lights, Ales, Ciders and they even make their own Root Beer - which is also excellent. The environment and layout are very casual. It's not small but not huge. There is a very large bar which is roomy and open. Great for beers or to also eat your dinner. A lot of tables fill the main room and I do believe that there's also a side room for large parties or other tables. Additionally, there is an outdoor seating area dressed with astroturf and all. This is a family friendly place so feel free to bring the whole gang. Whether it's one, two or a large group, they welcome everyone. One note: Unlike many of the chains and sports bars and wing joints, there are not 85 TV's throughout the place. There are some, but that's not their thing. Would I go back? Mission accomplished. As noted above, I've been twice and have had a great time on both occasions. Quality food, great beer and a friendly staff."

Melissa J. "Food was amazing!! Ambiance was something very nice that wasn't expected! They have their own brewery and so many selections of beer and mixed drinks! Siera was our waitress and she was nothing but phenomenal! Being from West Texas, we had no idea how to even pronounce the town name correctly. She laughed with us, visited with us and made our entire visit great!! Highly, highly recommend!!"

Kristen S. "Checked out this brewery the other night for dinner. They have a wide variety of beer that they brew. I tried a few of the lighter ones...they were good! We ordered chips and guac. The guacamole was awesome! It's a small place with high ceilings so it doesn't feel small. The staff working the bar was friendly and gave recommendations about the beer. I had a chicken Caesar salad wrap...it was pretty good, but I think they forgot the Caesar dressing because it definitely was not on there. Fun place for apps and beer!"

Laura A. "UK game night, everyplace was packed but we found seats at the bar here. They have a big selection of craft beers. We are lite beer and wine drinkers but found something. We ordered the pork tacos with a bowl of chili. The chili was good, the cornbread would have been better if warm. We then ordered the pretzel which was huge, could use more salt and definitely liked the beer cheese over the mustard.Drinks were flowing, tried the KY Sangria, pretty good but sour. Our bar neighbors had salmon and salad, looked very good."

Mark F. "Their classic burger won #1 burger in my 12 pub tour of Burger week. The service level from the bartender, Jamie, with the coolest glasses I've seen in years was extraordinary. Nearby is a place with food service that's so slow and so long you could grow a beard waiting for your burger. Like I tell my best clients "if it last more than 4 hours call your doctor" not here, food came so fast I wondered if the cook was telepathic. I hope Jamie's boss is good to him. He's a rare find."

Morgan M. "FANTASTIC!! Stopped into Kentucky Bourbon & Brews (KBB) for a Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. First, the drink menu is endless - 22 beers on tap with a versatile craft selection. The owner makes his own bloody mary mix which was tasty! (and i'm picky about bloody marys).I really liked the huge appetizer selection and went with the Buffalo Chicken Poppers. The couple next to me had fried mushrooms, jalepeno stix, and fried deviled eggs which all looked and smelled delicious.I had the Sunday wings special - the wings were BIG and I loved the spicy garlic sauce. The environment was welcoming with plenty of bar seating. My bartender, Meranda, was friendly and on it. The owner happened to be there while I was and when he heard that I liked spicy foods, he let me try some of the special-order spicy pickles they have.Definitely a place you want to check out!"
