"Toasted replaced the old Melt, so we were eager to try it. It was jam-packed on a Sunday morning, so we waited about 30 minutes for a table for 2. We were seated side by side by the window in high stools. The waitress and manager were attentive and quick. The food was mid (okay). I ordered the Wakey Wakey with the waffle and bacon. The best part was the hash browns--they were super crispy on the outside! The waffle lacked any crunch, and the bacon was very limp. My friend ordered the French Toast. We were surprised to pay $13 for one slice of French toast. She said it was good, but the pineapple and melon mixed with the berries on top were not a great flavor mix. She also ordered a side of scrambled eggs that she said lacked flavor and were not good. The ambiance was casual, and the place was nicely decorated for the holidays! There was plenty of room for big parties, and it seemed kid-friendly, too."
"Breakfast- Sat morning about 10am. Just "ok". Coffee was hot & strong. French toast was undercooked a bit... mushy inside. Bacon was pre cooked, so it was chewy. Husband ordered a breakfast sandwich egg, sausage on English muffin. Muffin wasn't toasted so was chewy. Staff and service were great!"

"We have made the Governor a staple for our weekend brunches because of the amazing food. It is definitely not your ma-and-pa greasy spoon, but rather a place that serves refined dishes with a cozier atmosphere. The modernized takes on classic dishes offer some intriguing new flavors packaged in a familiar appearance to all...especially the "fromlettes" (frittata / omelette hybrid). The service is consistently great for a diner and willing to run the menu with you. Always follow their advice and you're in for a treat. P.s. don't miss out on the lobster roll, when available. Higher price tag, but absurd amounts of lobster and delicious."
""Small town with a big heart." That is what I would describe the Liberty Gathering Place as. Stopped in here after walking in the West Liberty Labor Day Parade last month. I had the pulled pork sandwich (which was homemade I think) with their fries. It was pretty tasty. If I ever make it back to West Liberty, I will have to stop by again. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Yelpness!5/5 stars"
"So I'm doing my first yelp review in forever. You gotta check this place out. The interior is great. It had a nice leather chair that didn't hurt my butt. I just had coffee. The hazelnut coffee was probably the best hazelnut coffee I have ever had. The Nicaraguan and house blend were great as well. From observing the other patrons, they were pleased with the food and beverage they got. The attractive lady at the front counter was polite and friendly and I'm sure if I had any questions on menu items she could've handled that well. I did not check out the bathroom but I'll bet it was clean."
"Love the new location of Third Perk! I think this is a much better location downtown, in the Fire Blocks district that's taking off. The lattes here are my favorite in town!! The Bombeck with chocolate and raspberry is my favorite!! So flavorful. The chicken salad croissant sandwiches are flavorful. I look forward to trying the salads soon. And pretty soon they will be serving wine again. So many great small businesses right around the corner. Space Three fitness center on the same block for working out and then coffee after at Third Perk. Lots of more to come for the Fire Blocks district."
"This spot checked all of the classic diner, breakfast boxes. A simple and straightforward menu, no frills, atmosphere, great service, and budget friendly breakfast options all day. I loved the cozy vibe of the booths and the long counter. The staff was super sweet in handling our group of six despite the tables only fitting four.Inn no ordered two eggs with pepper jack cheese added alongside wheat toast and hash browns. All were delicious and exactly what I hoped for -- and only $6-$7 for the meal. The menu also featured pancakes, omelettes and BLTs. Overall, a sweet diner that I look forward to visiting again in the future."
"Good food and jamming music with an Elvis impersonator, country music and bluegrass. Lee is a wonderful person to talk to and a great manager for the restaurant!"
"I don't recall our server giving us her name but we came in and were seated rather quickly. It was mostly an older crowd and not much diversity just of note. We ordered a few drinks and food. Everything was great, though I did feel that my caprihinia tasted slightly off. The noise was moderate and staff were all nice. No complaints."
"Lucky enough to find this little jem after our day of bourbon touring! There is nothing better than a local restaurant with great service, cold beer, an exciting menu selection that matches the food delivered!"
"WOW!!! Their bfast sandwiches and lunch paninis are the best I've ever had! I don't go during peek hours so the wait has never been too long for me. If you do need to pick up during the busy time I suggest ordering online, you pick it up in the foyer area-super quick and convenient! The coffee is easy to drink unlike Starbucks bitter, too strong for me, coffee. Service has always been given with a smile. I love the local dog treats, candles, other things to look at or shop while waiting. The place is adorable."
"Burger had very good flavor. Strawberry shake was good. Was able to get my order quickly. A little expensive but definitely worth trying out."

I had lunch with a friend on Friday around 11:30 am. It was packed. We had to wait for a table but it wasn't long. The menu is unique. I had already eaten eggs so I opted for a ham sandwich. My friend had the bagel sandwich. We both had hash browns. Everything was delicious. I was drawn to the bakery but I couldn't get anything so I will definitely go back. Some of the brunch items sounded great. Our server was very helpful and so attentive. I'll go back with my husband soon to try more items! The restaurant itself is pretty. I loved the dishes, cups and utensils which isn't something you usually notice.

Archer's TavernWe recall when this property was an outstanding Chicago pizza house - big mistake to lose this franchise in the South Suburbs.Today's paper announces that Burger Week is back! Presented by The Miami Valley Restaurant Association June 8-15, 2024. Of course, we scout the offerings. Archer's Tavern is offering all specialty burgers for $10.00. We both elect the Black 'n Bleu Burger, topped with bleu cheese crumbles and Cajun seasoning.Today, neat quiet ambience in the primary dining room. Caveat: take care to avoid 5:00 Fridays when the young parents emerge with their rambunctious children. This demographic offers an advanced playpen ambience. We also enjoyed French Onion Soup - Rich onion broth, loaded with sliced onions and a hint of sherry and topped with a Holland rusk and Swiss cheese.Recently we were searching the Manna's menu for French Onion soup, and recommend that Manna's take a page from Archer's.Although, French Onion Soup needed many more sliced onions, more sherry, and a lot more time in the broiler in order for the cheese to acquire the texture and melt of a true French Onion Soup.Archer's Tavern provides a nice suburban dining experience if care is taken in selecting visiting time.

Fast to be seated and fast to be served. The waiter was incredibly attentive to our table. The food is excellent. This is not "basic" diner fare. This is elevated flavor combinations that are one of the reasons this place excels at what they do. I heard, after arriving, that Guy Fieri stopped by. He has good tastes. This place is awesome. Comfortable ambiance with next-level food. Good food does not have to be expensive, just well prepared. And The Governor does just that.

Charming and unpretentious little diner in West Liberty. Friendly and attentive service. Huge menu. Most entrees come with two side dishes, or one side plus a traditional salad bar which includes a daily soup and chili. Portions are huge. My companions went for the smothered roast beef and mashed potatoes. They both loved it. I had a perfectly grilled medium rare bison burger with the works. Great choice for lunch after touring the Ohio Caverns.

While in the general Mercer County area for the holidays for my fiancée, we were looking for something a little different from the area. We had heard some people taking about High Grounds and it sounded up our alley. We decided to do breakfast here. The coffee was awesome! I had a hot mocha and my fiancée had some kind of pumpkin spice/vanilla/some other flavor coffee and loved it. I had a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. It was delicious. Everyone was very nice. The interior looks like a cross between a small, home and an antique store. It's very welcoming. Thank you for the great experience and we'll be back in future years

Coffee shop and wine bar that used to be located next to the Spaghetti Warehouse. I never visited that location, so I can't make a comparison. Lots of comfy seating options, jazz music, and fresh floral arrangements on the tables makes it welcoming. The coffee is good. There are some lunch options, as well as smoothies. I just heard the barista say they're waiting on their liquor license to offer wine, which they hope to have Spring 2021. She also mentioned outdoor seating in the spring. Can't wait to try all they have to offer!

Aj's has everything my Ron Swanson-of-a-husband loves: simplicity, no-frills, diner coffee, and breakfast foods. It's a seat yourself kinda diner, pick a stool at their bar or a booth. Menus are simple, prices are affordable, and food is cooked to order and fast. We enjoyed a Saturday morning breakfast: Ham & cheese omelet with wheat toast and biscuits & gravy. Add a large OJ and bottomless black coffee and you're looking at less than $15 for two.The waitresses are friendly and the food is hot. Carry out available, as I saw a lot of carry-out orders being picked up. Customers were courteous of wearing masks when coming and going.

Super disappointed today. This place usually has amazing breakfast foe a very reasonable price. Today, the service was terrible. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. My egg sandwich was subpar! Won't be going back soon.

"Dined here again this past weekend with a party of 9 (location wasn't our decision). Have to say the service was much better. Water glass was kept full and appetizers were brought out quickly with individual plates. Ordered the turkey reuben. Flavor was okay. I liked the marbled rye but husband prefers dark rye or pumpernickel. Fries were as good as the previous visit, appreciate the consistency."
"We visited here for the first time (at the recommendation of a neighbor) on Saturday, 8/10/24, for an awesome brunch. It was not at all crowded when we arrived around 9:30AM.The dining room and restrooms were very nice "wedding reception hall" decor, but it felt more like a large dining room than a reception hall. Our server was friendly and very attentive.I had the Hangover Harry ($14, buttermilk biscuit, two fresh eggs, five cheese blend, sausage gravy, topped with crumbled goetta & a side of our house hot sauce). I had eggs over easy rather than scrambled, and there were either two biscuits or two halves of one very large biscuit. I like hot sauce but did not pour it on my dish since it detracted from all the other great flavors. Overall this dish was great and extremely filling. My wife had Stuffed French Toast ($9, two pieces of our french bread stuffed with vanilla bean mascarpone, served with pure maple syrup & whipped cream) and Haus Potato Casserole ($4, shredded potatoes, creamy five cheese sauce, baked in a crispy cornflake crust). The French Toast was probably the best I ever tasted (she gave me a couple bites). It was two large slices of French Toast with mascarpone in the middle and then cut in half like two halves of a sandwich. She said the potato casserole was good, but too much to eat given the generous potions of French toast. We also ordered a Brioche Cinnamon Roll ($7) with mascarpone icing to go. It was served warm and was good heated up briefly at home, but a bit too light on cinnamon. Our total bill before tip with two soft drinks ($3 each) came to $40 plus $2.70 tax - and it was well worth it.We'll definitely be back for brunch or dinner."
"It rocks! I love their O rounds and chips !Have been going there for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal"
"Food and service was amazing! I was with a couple friends and this was their first time - both of them loved the place. Our food was delicious and ambiance was nice, cute little place."
"Was traveling through Ohio and found this place - and I was glad i did. I ordered off the breakfast menu but I don't recall the name of the platter. However, everything was great - eggs, potatoes, toast, bacon, along with a side order of grits. This place is definitely worth visiting - hopefully I will be back through one day to try the lunch items."
"Service very friendly and quick. Food was great and plentiful. Pancake lopped over the edge of the plate, goetta was crispy. Recommend!"
"The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Quick service and great tasting beverages! I try to grab a drive through latte and sandwich every week."
"The breaded tenderloin was great. The sandwich was expensive breakfast is cheaper, nice people working there"
"An older building with quite a few vehicles still in the parking lot at 9:30 am. I've had this place bookmarked for years and haven't been able to get to it until today. I had to fast for a late blood draw this morning so I was past my usual breakfast hunger pains and so I was able to drive the 17 mins. I ordered two eggs medium, hash browns, patty sausage with white toast and strawberry jelly. That's what I usually order for breakfast regardless of the restaurant. Everything tasted great except for the hash browns. To me they seemed cut thicker than usual therefore I think they should have been cooked longer. Or maybe its just me. I ate some of them but not all of them.Service was friendly. I was quickly greeted and told to choose my own table. Drink order was quickly taken and menus left with me. The check came fast too once the meal was over. But the kitchen seemed a tad slow for only five active tables. One was finishing, two of us waiting on food, another ordering, and the last one just sitting down. The food was hot though as expected."
"Breakfast would foods until 3:30am - yes please! This small yet inviting family kitchen promises fresh made home cooking and they deliver. Mostly a carry-out spot, there is limited seating for dining and even more limited parking. I really recommend getting your order to go or through a delivery service. A lot of items I was excited about were out of stock, like the lamb chops, but they made it up with some creamy delicious shrimp and grits. The pork chop meal comes with 2 sides - most of the meals come with 2 sides and even in the sides there was some shortages. I hope when I come back I can try the T-Bone steak and eggs meal or the lamb chops with sides (they were out of steak and lamb) which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5."
"Stopped in for breakfast. Very pleased with our meal. Coffee was really good - not the normal watered down diner stuff. Had eggs, home fries and toast. The toast was kinda the end of the bag, so the waitress brought us more without our asking about it. Nice gesture. Food cooked properly. Another nice touch (besides the coffee), was that they use Land O Lakes butter, not the cheap margarine kind. Would definitely stop again, if in the area."
"In town on business and had breakfast. Food was great and service attentive. Had to try the peanut butter stuffed French toast and it was great. Great idea. I thought about adding chocolate chips but that will have to wait until next time."
"We ate here twice, a supper and a breakfast. The breakfast was very good and the supper was pretty good. It's nice sitting by the river and watching it Go by. In the morning there was a little fog over the Ohio which made for a nice atmosphere. The atmosphere is typical casual for a Riverside type of restaurant. The wait staff was very nice and efficient. For supper most of us had the fish special which was either catfish or whitefish. The catfish was very good but the white fish was a little undercooked and somewhat mushy. The Johnny cakes cornbread were cold and not great flavor. So the supper was good but not great. For breakfast most of us had eggs bacon toast pancakes and coffee. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were superb. I eat mine without any butter or syrup and they had an excellent flavor despite the lack of those extras. We tried an order of goetta as most in our group had never tasted it before. I don't really like it but I liked their version. For those who don't know goetta is a combination of beef pork spices and oatmeal that is cooked like a flat sausage patty and is very popular in the Cincinnati area.We were two full to try the desserts but they look pretty good. The price for what you get was very good as well. We would definitely go here again if we are back in the area."
"A win every single time. The service is stellar, ambiance is amazing. The food is so good, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. They also have the best croissants in all of Cincy. They have a small bar/coffee stand in the back where they also have pastries, but it is a sit down restaurant as well. Can't say enough good things about this place. Truly a hidden gem."
"We love their weekly specials, especially the pancakes. The service is always friendly. Atmosphere is welcoming. Food tastes great. Their baked goods are also amazing and unique. It's our favorite brunch spot on the west side."
"It's like eating home cooked breakfast at grandmas house! The biscuits are soooo FLUFFY! Can't wait to go back to try their famous burgers! I would 100% recommend! Melisa is such a kind soul and makes you feel comfortable"
"Scooter's was open on a Sunday afternoon when no other coffee shop in Batesville was open! Apparently, restaurants and shops in Batesville prefer to be closed for 50% of the weekend. Oh well. My coffee money went to Scooter's.I just got a black coffee from the drive-thru. Scooter's has a drive-thru! The whole transaction, from pulling up to the drive-thru kiosk to ordering to receiving my coffee, was seamless and fast. The people who work here who I encountered were very friendly, too. Scooter's has a large menu of coffee drinks. In fact, there are more coffee-like drinks than there are just regular coffee. They have things like Cinnamon Toast Crunch lattes, green leprechaun shakes, smoothies, and even energy drinks. They also have pup cups (of what looks like whipped cream) for dogs. I didn't want any of that, but if you're in the mood to drink all of your calories for the day, this place will help you out with that. The coffee was good, the service was quick, and best of all, they were open."
"Amazing food in a cool atmosphere and we had great service.I truly think this menu has something for everyone: salads, sushi, bowls, burgers...I love bringing family and friends here when they come to visit. Everyone is always pleased with the food.I had been to the Hyde Park location several times, but this was my first time at the newer Banks location. I really liked it and look forward to returning!"
"I had just moved to Brookville when I found this "diamond in the rough". The food is made fresh and if you like home cooking they have a variety of meals that feel like they're straight from the heart. This IS your grandma's cooking. I love their food, local patrons and servers make you feel at home."
"Located inside of Blue Licks State Resort, this buffet restaurant is very similar to the other Kentucky State Park resort restaurants that I so love. I was there on a weekend, so maybe they were bringing out their best, but I was impressed. I was being good that weekend and only got the salad bar options. It's a few dollars cheaper than if you choose to get the hot bar options too, which honestly isn't a bad deal, but I was motivated to eat as healthy as possible. We ate here a few times during our stay in the area. Each time service was great and we never had to want for refills. One time I ordered from the menu, instead of getting the buffet. The breakfast burrito is what I ordered and it was filling and overall a good way to break the fast."
"This place is nice for where it is. I'm sure the locals love it! The staff are really sweet people and very nice and welcoming. Our waitress was Taylor, she was super attentive and sweet! The inside is very rustic with minimal.decor kinda like a farm house feel. The food was ok but it lacks actual flavor but there is salt and pepper on the table and in this town I'm sure they are happy. The omelette was described as fluffy in the menu it was flat as a board lol. The hash browns were pure perfection I really enjoyed them. My friend had the cinnamon french toast combo it looked amazing and he said the eggs and bacon were very good! His mom loved her meal she had the bacon and eggs and the pancakes. I didn't try her pancakes but they looked amazing! My waffle was pretty good as well! Taylor is a rockstar giver her a raise. Please seek extra training for the cook he or she could use some help."
"Fluffy loves to hop down to the Empo on Sunday mornings for coffee and vegan carrot cake."
"67 Diner is a family restaurant just off an I-69 exit for Anderson. The banners suggest it is new, but it has been in operation for ~one year. The venue is rather plain inside and out, but do not let first impressions fool you. Give them a chance. As I was in the middle of the Pork Tenderloin Belt (central IN and portions of west central & SW OH), I was seeking a classic BPTS. Diner 69 did not disappoint! It arrived hot and huge with the appropriate condiments (mustard) and fresh veggies.I was thrilled with the staff - terrific teamwork. My server was Mackayla. But if she was the least bit busy elsewhere, the others immediately stepped-in to assist. Pay attention to the daily specials on the whiteboard. Bonus: Breakfast is available all day!The dining area and restroom were clean."
