"Actually was surprised with how good the pizza was. I expected something like Marco's or Little Caesar's. The cheese fries were okay, not too much cheese. The only complaint I have is they don't give an expected delivery time."
"We walked in knowing of certain things we wanted to purchase for ourselves and for a few family members. We wandered around a bit and interacted with the very knowledgeable staff of the special things we were looking for. Alcohol is a lot cheaper down here than up in Ohio so we were thrilled to fill up a box of bottles. I didn't know Fireball came in so many different size bottles! We had a very enjoyable experience with the staff and when we are down that way again, we will fill up another box!"
"Big Daddy, my dear friend. How many times have you saved the after-party? How many times have I thought the night was over and you came to the rescue? Too many times to count, that's for sure.Blocks down from Newport on the Levee, Big Daddy's is a drive-thru liquor store open until exactly 2:30 am (unlike the area bars which claim to be open as late but stop serving around 2). Here's a typical encounter at Big Daddy's. Cars snake around the entire building, sometimes down the street, but each one moves through the line with amazing rapidity. You roll down your window (or more likely your taxi's window) and are questioned "Whatcha need?" in a brusque, urgent tone. This is no time to hem and haw. You better know what you want and order it fast. Their selection is pretty wide, so don't bother questioning the clerk whether they have this or that. No cash? Give the clerk a credit card and you'll definitely feel his or her bitterness, as you hold up the line while the card is approved. While the customer service is nothing to boast about, Big Daddy's has reliable hours that give you ample to time to close the bar and make it through their line before 2:30 am."
"I don't frequent this place but I do stop by from time to time if I'm in the area and needing to grab something quick. The people who work here are overall pretty cool..but the store itself is mediocre at best.First off for a decently sized store it always seems crammed with stuff..my OCD always kicks in when I enter because a lot of times things are just thrown everywhere and in no particular order at that.It looks like they have a big selection but I can't tell you how many times I've been really surprised to find out that they didn't have what I was looking for. And it's never been "hard to find uncommon" things that they wouldn't have..it would be things that the local Kroger has in stock on a regular basis. I guess you could say that I will continue to go to this store as much as I have been..but I will never expect that much out of it..and always have in mind things to get if they don't have or are out of what I would be going in there for."
"Food and service was great!! The food ingredients are fresh and the combinations they have created are awesome."
"I only come here out of convenience when I'm shopping at Kroger. Prices are higher by $2-3 than the party source and deps. It's peak summer and their selection of rose is terrible. Only 2-3 sparkling sand they are not quality. Normally I wouldn't mind the $2-3 up charge for convenience, but when you don't even get what you want it kinda doesn't make sense anymore.I think I'm done with this place :/"
"Even though this a little further out than my closest liquor store, this will be the place I come to from now on!The layout of this store is so nice - it's very easy to find what you're looking for, and it's enticing to browse the entire store and find a few more unique items to try. There is such a variety in here!I really like how the floorplan is wide open... not high shelves packed into a store that make it almost claustrophobic to navigate (like many liquor stores in the Dayton area).Last, the shop owner is very inviting and friendly. Like I said, I'm sold. If I ever need anything alcohol related, this will be my go-to place!"
"My go to spot for a great selection of Kentucky's best bourbons. Just can't get much of a selection at home in cincy. All the faves are always in stock... Buffalo Trace, Angel's Envy, Michters. They've got them all and more."
"You know that feeling after a long day and you lay down and your bed is comfortable and pillows are cold? What about that feeling when you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty and see that theres a nice cold ice water right next to your bed? The coffee peddlar captures all of that in one, i love this place, its so cute, the people there are so kind and its just an awesome place with awesome coffee:)"
"Full disclosure: I do not like beer that tastes like beer.Framboise, Ciders, Wines-these are a few of my favorite things. And Higher Gravity has them. An extensive "on draft" selection and an abundance of ready to drink from the cold case . I have been here several times and the bartenders are always attentive and ready with recommendations no matter what kind of palate you are sporting. I wish they had some food options, but this location has an abundance of eateries nearby and an ice cream stop right next door. You can grab dinner and then walk on over to High Gravity for your dessert. They are open later than most of the surrounding venues, so I suggest using this spot as your closer for the night."
"very easy to get to from the road. they have a wide variety of liquors, wines & beers in refrigerators too!the prices are very reasonable & the service is also very nice."
"Great location with unique drinks. If you haven't had a chance to try their drinks, RUN, don't walk to wherever you can find them. Their drinks can work great as a mixer, straight, or even as ice cream topping. Be your own mix master!"

Never had a bad experience, food is always delicious and love the fact I can get great quality food from a local neighborhood establishment that's not a major cookie cutter chain.

All I can say is WOW! If you're looking for something they probably have it here. It can be very overwhelming when first walking in as their is alcohol EVERYWHERE but the service is superb! I was searching for a rare bourbon for my fathers birthday, which happened to be bourbon of the year, and I went to 6 stores before I called DEPS and they informed me they had some , behind the counter. They often have the more rare bourbons but you can always call ahead and ask. There are two DEPS stores that are just normal sale then there is another in Covington that is discount liquor ! Happy shopping!

Hey a liquor store! It was the only thing near us open on New Year's Day. Very good selection, but they lost a star due to the .75 charge for using a card. Best bring your cash money! Had lots of beers, wine, and a drive through.

They have what your looking for (mostly)! Great selection of microbrews, and all the spirits you could want. Just avoid the small talk when checking out. Most of the employees just want you to pay and get out, and have zero time (personality) for your banter. Still I recommend them the adult beverage of your choice.

Kroger Liquor is quite fine by me. They don't do anything wrong it's just that they don't do anything better than other stores either. One of my qualms with them is their craft beer selection isn't spectacular by any stretch of the imagination. If your looking for anything out of the ordinary don't expect to find it here. The wine selection is fine. Again, it is mostly your basics plus a few surprises here and there. Liquor selection, well you know where I am going with this. Your basics plus a few random ones. I am not saying that this is a bad thing. In fact, if you are looking for a specific, well-known bottle of something you will find it here. Just don't expect to find niche items. The prices are fair and they sometimes offer blowout prices when they are trying to get rid of stuff. I've gotten $20 bottles of wine for $7.99 before so be on the lookout for those deals. The reason that I continually go here is the location. It is right off of the highway and located in a completely different building than the Kroger Marketplace. This means no crowd, no traffic, and no aggravation when you just want to run in and pick something up. I like this which is why I will keep coming back. The employees are always helpful. They know a lot about what they have in stock. If you ask for something they usually know exactly where you can find it which is nice.Overall, not terribly great selection-wise but their location, prices and friendly staff are more than worthy of three stars from me.

The best selection of bourbon and the easiest stop in northern Kentucky. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and most importantly, knowledgeable about the product. They'll help you find the right bourbon without over selling you.

"Great place with lots of good wines and most importantly a friendly owner. You can learn a lot while you are there. If you can describe what you like, he will help you find something good. Great selection of beer too! Not a huge selection but it is well curated"
"Great selection. Very nice owners who are open to suggestions for carrying new wines."
"Spirits of Maderia is everything it should be quaint, decent selection, with friendly customer service. If it were any bigger I think it would feel weird just because it is located along the strip in the Maderia shopping district with all the other quaint little stores. The store has three sections, one for liquor, another room for wine, and then another room for champagnes and specialty items. They also have a few gift items available too. They have always had what I was looking for even if I didn't know what I was looking for. Another great thing is that they don't jack up the prices because they are a smaller store and in Maderia everything is more expensive! I love that about this place. You can find the same prices at the party source. WAhoooo! Support a great local biz and find some really cool stuff in here!"
"Great selection! The staff is very friendly and professional. I usually stop in every night when I get off of work and get my destressing after work drink and am always welcomed by name and a friendly smile."
"Fluffy loves to hop down to the Empo on Sunday mornings for coffee and vegan carrot cake."
"While visiting from out of town, we were looking for a spot for breakfast that didn't have a 30-40 min wait I'm so glad we found Heather's! The cafe is in an old house in an adorable, quaint little downtown. I had read another review that mentioned ordering at the counter and then seating ourselves, but they actually had us sit at any table and then brought us menus. I got a cinnamon sugar latte which was just lovely and got my day off to a great start. For breakfast we each got the southwestern tortilla which was DELICIOUS. The sauce was super tasty, and it was a satisfying breakfast without being too much food. Notably they have several vegetarian options on the menu!Heather's was right up my alley and is the perfect little brunch or lunch spot - or just for coffee. Definitely would recommend!"
"Aside from a couple gas stations that might sell cases of beer, I think Yellow Rose is one of two places in Cynthiana (the other being the Walmart liquor store) where you can buy liquor (that I'm aware of). What makes Yellow Rose kind of fun is the drive-through! I never knew drive-though liquor stores existed until I moved out to Kentucky. The store itself is small and kind of cramped, but packed with all the basic bottles and cans of various beers, wines, and liquors for your alcohol needs. It does not have EVERYTHING, but enough for bottle consumption or mixing drinks. The store clerk here is very helpful in finding certain things you are looking for or offering recommendations based on your tastes.Prices are typical, as you would find elsewhere. No complaints. Shop here if you prefer to support small and local."
"Updating review because I had forgotten I had ever even reviewed before, and now I have more glowing to do. You guys, I realize now work in Norton Commons, so I'm biased, since is the closest nearby watering hole when the day ends. BUT. There are so many wines, it's overwhelming at times. In the good way. The bourbon selection makes the wine list look minuscule. And the beer is not to be laughed at. The whole reason I'm updating, though, is the staff. They are so. Nice. So nice. Knowledgeable, without being pretentious or too knowledgeable that they confuse the patron. So friendly, be it your first, fifteenth or fifteen hundredth visit. Funny. They are the reason behind the neighborhood bar vibe, and it makes all the difference. Rave over!!"
"Wow! I was back in town (from Cincy) visiting my bestie and we stopped in for a bite and I am blown away. The cutest back patio, wine, cheese and meat. You seriously can't ask for more"
"My wife and I had dinner today at this location. Our waitress, Riley was the nicest person to wait on us in a long time. We did have a mix up on the order, but the manager made it right and gave us a nice discount. The food was very good. I had a large pizza with mushrooms and half pepperoni's. My wife had a cauliflower pizza with mushrooms and olives. We also had a Caesars salad (Croutons were a little hard). Thanks Pies & Pints for a wonderful dining experience. Hope to see you again soon and I hope Riley and the manager are still there.PS - Dining here can be a little on the expensive side"
"Really more of a convenient store than a market, Village market carries staples like bread, milk, eggs, deli meats and cheeses, soda, chips, candy, and beer. Conveniently located near a ton of Oakbrook subdivisions, this place is perfect for items that don't really require a trip to the grocery store. I always hate going to Super Kroger to grab bread and milk because they are on opposite sides of the mammoth store, making the trip much longer than it really needs to be.Village Market is only a few months old, so it's very clean and well stocked. There's also a liquor store next door if you need to pick up some wine or whisky. This place is probably just a three store joint, but because it saves me the headache of going to a big box grocery store, I'll give it an extra star."
"Noonan's is awesome! They have everything you could imagine in the world of spirits, wine, and beer. They carry rare local beers like Urban Artifact. They do accept credit cards without a fee."
"A great place with a very impressive selection of beer wine and liquor from around the world. On the occasions that I need them the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable."
"It's A bar/liquor store. Smoking inside. I like to stop in for my beer. You can buy it by the can but you have to drink it there."
"What a strange name! I'm not sure what line ended here, but maybe it refers to the end of Kentucky heading to Ohio?!Basic, utilitarian store with decent selection of liquor, wine, beer and mixer options. Easy to get in and out of with plenty of parking. Just off I-75 at Kyles Lane exit and adjacent to Dixie Highway. Prices are average and the customer service is good."
"Ask Chris for the most recent acquisitions; Rumbleseat Wine's selection is fabulous!"
"This used to be one of my favorite spots to stop in when I lived in Clifton (the only reason I don't still regularly go is because I don't live SUPER close anymore). I always loved popping in and getting a recommendation from the staff. The best part was that I never felt an ounce of pretentiousness from the shop. The staff was always super eager to make a recommendation and always seemed to be understanding that I wasn't some wine connoisseur and was looking for the best bang for my buck. I can't wait until COVID is all over and they are doing tastings again, I always loved coming here for those. This is SUCH a great little shop to support and I'm plotting a trip to get some wine stocking stuffers for some loved ones this year. The prices always seem reasonable and you really can't beat the service. Not sure what to get your wine loving friend? Ask the staff here, they are great!"
"Diamond in the rough!!This place shines when we were looking for a good meal and a quick beer. Wine & beer selection is outstanding. Wine store connected offers even more selection! Bravo"
"My wife and I recently attended a birthday dinner at Dayton's only rooftop restaurant downtown, and was overall pleased with the experience. I ordered the cherry pork belly dish, served with perfectly cooked plantains, flavorful rice, and beans. The sweet and savory cherry glaze worked well with the tender pork belly, making each bite a delightful blend of textures and flavors. Only knock is there was way too much fat on the cut of porkThe span-seared salmon was just ok, that had a rich chipotle cherry glaze that gave the dish a bit of sweetness. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy but a tad dry, while the grilled asparagus added a nice crunch. The drizzle of lemon herb butter, added a citrus note that balanced the mealFor those who prefer chicken, one friend let us try their brined & roasted chicken breast was impressive. Very tender that came with a mushroom risotto and the classic combination of peas and carrots, the dish was elevated with a chicken caramel sauce that tied everything togetherI forgot to mention we started off with a curated charcuterie board, filled with a variety of quality meats, cheeses, and accompaniments that made for a perfect appetizerThe combination of a stunning rooftop view, attentive service, and solid dishes like these made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!"
"It may seem odd to review a liquor store, but when I forget to get the liquor or wine for our dinner guests this place is my go-to because Kroger is closed at 10/11pm. Large and decent selection of liquors, wines and beers (including craft beer) and GREAT friendly service."
"Great selection of deli foods and spirits, snacks and candy. Friendly staff and service,"
"Great pizza! They are fast and the pizza is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. I hadn't been to Shaddock's in several decades and I was so impressed that I've had their pizza two days in a row. Five stars, hands down!"
"For a small convenient store this place has an incredible craft beer selection. A lot of local Ohio beers available within that selection. If your looking for something you don't see at Kroger I would try this place...."
