Food and service are always amazing! The owners and staff are super-friendly! I have been going there for years. They have huge breakfast burritos, and the wet burrito dinner is my favorite! Wide variety of menu choices from Mexican to American foods such as burgers. Love love love this place! The dining area is super small, but I always get my orders to go bc I only live 1/4 mile away.

We stopped by the other day on a whim. We had been here years ago when we first moved to the area. It's still very good. My husband and I both ordered birria tacos. We've never had them before, so I can't make a comparison to other places, but they were so full of flavor. The meat was super tender too. We both got hot salsa, which had a good kick. But was a little lacking in flavor. My disagree ordered a burrito. I'm not entirely sure which one she ordered, but it was tasty. She picked mild salsa.l, it had a better flavor than the hot salsa. The inside is tiny, but there is sitting available. We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. The service was great. The woman that took our order was helpful. We also ordered nachos with cheese. The cheese was an orange cheese sauce, which was unexpected. We still ate them all. The chips were good.

Great burritos at a great price. The place looks like a little hole in the wall and it is but the food's amazing

I ordered through phone and they accepted. I told them I would be there in 10 minutes and my food was ready by the time I got there. The California Burrito is amazing. It's guacamole, well cooked beef, French fries and melted cheese go very well! It's a big burrito- I recommend you try it!

The food was excellent. Larger groups 6+ ppl) are tough to accommodate due to the very small size. And the way everything is set up is awkward too at the ordering counter. Good Mexican food though.

We called in an order and picked up in the drive-thru while we were in town for a baseball tournament. I'm unfamiliar with Dayton, but it does seem to be in a little bit of a sketchy neighborhood. That being said, go to Burrito King! It's a diamond in the rough!We ordered a one-pound veggie burrito (hold the cheese and sour cream), carne asada tacos, and a side of rice. I grew up in San Diego and I agree this is the closest I've had to Southern California Mexican food in a long time. I was stuffed, but I ate the whole dang burrito because it was SO SO good. My kiddo is a rice aficionado and he gave it two thumbs up. (I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the tacos were ok, but not great.)With a tip, we got 3 meals for $25. I'm trying to figure out how to get back there again before I leave Dayton! Yum!!!!

Great tasting food! Big portions. Friendly staff. I have hootenanny breakfast and dinner and never disappoints

Ambiance: Nothing particularly special about Burrito King's decor, its a pretty unremarkable roadside eatery. The staff are pretty outstanding though in terms of making you feel welcome and offering to help you make decisions if needed. There are a ton of regulars that come here both for pick-up and eating in which was reassuring to see.Food: As a San Diegan, I was immediately drawn to the California burrito on their menu. I grew up on these burritos as there are countless 24-hr Mexican spots in San Diego that serve these, making it a popular late night option. That said, Burrito King's rendition was fairly faithful. The flavor of the meat was spot on, the fries were crispy, and there was guacamole that wasn't the made-from-powder junk you sometimes see in the Midwest. The only thing that was off was the ratio of meat of French fries which was skewed towards the potatoes. The size of the burrito was absolutely massive however so they probably could have scaled the fries back and offered a smaller but more balanced burrito. I did also try the hot sauce which was actually pretty good at well albeit lacking a little body and complexity, for the Midwest it was pretty damn authentic though.Overall I was super excited to see a place in Dayton that served SoCal Mexican food and would recommend giving this place a try! Turns out the owner is from LA who moved here when his son went to college in Ohio!

Great local hole in the wall place with authentic flavors. Got the chorizo breakfast burrito with a mango aqua Fresca

Absolutely the best burritos this side of Tijuana! They're about the size of your head, so you better bring an appetite
