I've always been a fan of chicken and waffles. Of course, the chicken and the waffles should have its independent characteristics, but together they should compliment each other.m well! Oh my gosh! Bubbys Chicken and Waffles did just that and then some, plus the presentation really popped. Give it a whirl, take a friend, and be prepared for your tastebuds to do the happy dance. Deliciousness overload awaits!!!

Springfield, it doesn't get more "hidden gem/mom & pop" than this, and it's WELL worth checking it out, if you're in the area, need some quick, DELICIOUS chicken that's NOT like all the rest of the dozens of (chain) offerings here in town, THIS is your choice. I got the The good/bad news is that their hours are limited; I think only Thurs.-Sunday, but WELL worth checking out. Don't let the area scare you away. If you want the best tasting chicken in town (AND the most AWESOME smelling car on your way home!!) check out Bubby's asap!!

First let me apologize to Bubby; I saw your cart and did not buy, I saw you had a downtown location and I did not buy, I'm sorry for not supporting you sooner, cause I missed out on some great fun food.Second I have to admit this is the first official chicken and waffle I have tried, but I believe Bubby's is doing something special with the chicken and waffles. I got the wings and my wife got the tenders, we both liked our wings and tenders so much we would not share with each other. The waffles have fruity pebbles mixed in, nice touch. Mix the hot sauce and syrup for a dipping sauce, but the wings and tenders are so good they don't really need a sauce. Another fantastic "mom and pop" original place for Springfield, love it.

This is one of the few places I'm dying to review. I have tried multiple times to eat here but every time I go they are closed. So if someone catches them open please bring me some food. Update..... All I can say is Wow!!!! That was worth the wait. I had chicken and waffles with fruity pebble's in it , Amazing. This is a definite Support It!!!

A unique take on waffles and it works! Delicious crispy tenders too. Quick Door dash delivery kept it hot and yummy. Will definitely order again and again. It's nice to have something different. Keep up the good work!

Man oh man!!! I love this place!! The food is incredible, and the menu is easy. You have to get the waffle with fruity pebbles, then take your chicken and make a little teepee over the butter in the middle of the waffle. Then pour the syrup over the whole thing and once you have syrup on the waffle and the chicken teepee, you do the same thing with the hot sauce. The sweet heat that covers the fluffy waffle and the crispy chicken make a flavor that people write folk lore about. Too bad I can't give this 11 stars.
