Brittney's Cakes

Brittney's bakery has been sold & is now called Sweet Dreams Bakery. I've stopped in for various treats a few times since it changed hands, & have always been happy with the items. The products are fantastic, and the lady who owns it is very nice to deal with & she's a top notch baker. They have several gourmet flavors of cupcakes, in addition to the standard yellow & chocolate. My two favorites are the salted caramel with ganache & the raspberry lemon. Their iced cookies are wonderful, too. But the thing I'm most excited about is their "Sweet Dreams" brownie, which is a chocolate chip brownie layered with caramel & topped with a caramel sauce drizzle. It's similar to a locally famous layered brownie, & I'm so glad there is no longer a need to drive all the way to Oakwood or Centerville to pick one up! There's a great selection of treats, plus the usual decorated cakes. They have delicious cream puffs & eclairs, cannolis, cheesecake, many flavors of frosted brownies, and several different types of cookie, both iced & plain.I definitely recommend this bakery.

For three years now we have gotten our Birthday cakes here. Yes they are a little more pricey but I would rather pay $10 more for a fresh cake made by a local business I can support rather than a frozen manufactured cake. Two years ago they did an amazing Bigfoot cake for my husband, last year was an x files cake and they offer many flavors rather than the standard crap from the grocery stores. I get him coconut flavored cake. I highly recommend this place for your sweet tooth needs.

Love this place everyone is so nice and the cakes are phenomenal they also sell cupcakes and cannolis too a must if you LOVE cakes and cake like products

This place has the best of everything.. I am from NYC and haven't found a decent bakery in the area until this place came along a couple of years ago.. My entire family are now very regular customers, especially around any holiday.. I can honestly say, I have not had anything here that was not perfection, and I've gone through a lot of their product :-)) and still going..My favorite? The Eclairs.. Their butter cream is out of this world.. Seriously.. I cannot say enough good things, so go try for yourself..

Expensive cake, not very well decorated. The butter in the buttercream frosting was completely overwhelming and the cake was kind of dry. I'm disappointed and will not be returning.

I ordered a birthday cake from Brittney's Cakes. I talked about what I wanted, but honestly didn't know what to expect. I was extremely impressed with how the cake turned out! We had more than 30 people at the party and almost everyone asked where I purchased the cake. Some guests couldn't stop commenting on how the cake was so moist. The buttercream frosting was delicious! The cake was very well decorated and it impressed everyone at the party. It was a big success! I have ordered from 4 other bakeries around Dayton. I will be returning to Brittney's Cakes for my next cake order.

Love this place! I used to work in the area, and ate way too many of their turtle brownies. So rich, and worth every single calorie! Cheesecake is awesome too.

Britt is amazing she goes beyond to make customers happy. I seen on her private fb account a customer was unhappy due to customer not wanting to follow her directions on how to transport cakes. The customer is slamming her for it. She made her sign a paper stating do not transport on lap. The customers mom didn't listen. So cake fell. It was 3 tiers. What did u think would happen? We live almost 2 hours away and anything we have gotten from Britt has been amazing. She puts 100% in her job.

I couldn't have had a more different experience than described in the previous review and am grateful that we went with Brittney's Cakes. We ordered a fabulous custom designed carrot cake for our mother's surprise birthday party. I e-mailed Brittney a scanned piece of the flower stationary that we were using as the decorating theme for the party. What was delivered that Saturday was a moist, tasty, beautifully decorated cake that perfectly complemented our decorations. The traditional creme cheese frosting was perfectly balanced with the flavorful cake. We received many compliments and had hardly any cake left - a rarity, imo, for an event cake. And all this when I know that Brittney's Cakes also had two wedding cakes for the same day! Well done & thanks Brittney and team!

Don't go here. Terrible customer service. It's not very often that someone will argue with a customer when they're completely wrong, but this place will. Go to Kroger you'll get equal quality and a much lower price.
