We stopped in Bridges during a day trip to Cincinnati. Only reviews said it was an Asian fusion restaurant, but it's definitely Nepali cuisine. The staff was very friendly and helpful, since we had never been there before. When you enter, you go directly to the counter to order. It's like a hot food assembly line and then for certain items they make to order. I ordered a meat rice bowl - you could chose between basmati rice or brown rice, lentils, peas or both, meat topping (chicken, tikka masala, hakku chicken, or pork chili), and then garnish of your choice. The food was piping hot and smelled delicious. We also paid extra for fresh Nan bread, which took about 3-4 minutes to come out. We also ordered the chicken and pork momos, that they are known for. We had finished the rice bowl before the momo came from the kitchen. Overall I would say it took 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the momos. It was like a dumpling but wasn't the most flavorful. I would skip if I ever came back. Overall 3.5 stars but probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

First time here for me, though my hubby has dined at their Hamilton Ave. location. He always had positive things to say about his meals there :). We happened to be downtown for an errand on the weekend, and we stopped here for lunch. You order at the counter, and the menu is posted above with choices to build your bowl plus other items. We both went with the bowl and they were delicious! I had a mix of white basmati and brown rice, plus the 1/2 & 1/2 lentils and peas. The chicken tikka masala was so good! And I had the mixed veggie side with mild sauce. This is the combo she suggested when I asked as a first time diner here and it was a perfect bowl for a cold afternoon. The woman who served us was so friendly also!

3.5 actually. My friends and I picked up food early last week for the Asian food week 2022. Honestly, I thought I was going to get a good deal, but I don't know if I did. Firstly, Bridges is a quality Nepali restaurant. It's local to Cincy and the owners are a bunch of nice people. Being an Indian, the cuisine reminds me of home food, and I love momos. My friends got the chicken momos, chicken Tikka bowl and chai as their three course options. I had the vegetarian/vegan momos, bowl with some mushroom topping and mango lassi. My friends liked their food, momos especially. The chicken Tikka and tea were good too. Me? Well, the vegetarian momos are meh. I've had the chicken ones previously and these are really meh. My bowl wasn't great either- the topping was kinda cold and I found that weird to have with rice. The Mango lassi was alright. Not great, not bad. The thing that pricked probably the most- the pricing and quantity. I went into Bridges after a year and found that the momos are definitely tinier now. The bowl was weighed to be under a number. Yep, weighed. And the quantity was probably 1/4th a Chipotle bowl. I love Bridges because they do give a wholesome meal. However, I know the cuisine and I don't know why it's charged that way. We paid $20 for it all and the quantity definitely needs to be looked at. I do want to support a local business, especially when it is good.

Having been to the more suburban location, I wanted to see what was available in downtown Cincinnati. The place is a little more sketch; as with much of this part of the city the building seemed old and there were just a few chairs inside surrounded by haphazard cords and a (seemingly unintentionally) open kitchen. The menu is much the same as in the suburbs. Here, I ordered a salad bowl, which is a minority salad and mostly the pick your side dish that goes on top. I asked for my potatoes and mushrooms spicy, and they had both a substantial kick and a rich flavor mix. They were cold, and my dish was assembled immediately in front of me, which is a good thing for a quick business lunch. The hot tea which eventually arrived on the side had a nice-looking teabag of whole spices, but didn't blow me away, perhaps because it was missing the honey that I'm allergic to.I also took some frozen dumplings to go, which came with ample sauces and special instructions. I actually haven't had that great luck finding good Asian grocery stores with veggie dumplings, so I have high hopes that this will be a good dumpling fix. I didn't think the downtown location was quite as pleasant as the one further north, but it's still good vegetarian-friendly good with a warm service experience as well.

First time trying this place. Did not know what to order and was guided by the staff. Everything was good and filled with an abundance of flavor and some good spice too. I'll be back to try something else soon.

Our first time visiting Bridges and it was fantastic. We ordered a Rice bowl each and shared MoMos. We were given samples to help us decide what we liked. The food did not disappoint either, with great flavor and spice levels. Definitely recommend!

I've been trying a lot of new foods this year for my New Year's resolution. I tried Bridges in Walnut hills, not great. I ordered a bowl with white rice, aromatic chicken, and mixed greens. 2 hours later I was throwing up. It's two days later now and I still have nasty food poisoning. (aches, weakness, vomiting, fatigue, headaches). I wish I could get my money back, the food wasn't good and ive been sick all weekend.

While visiting Cincinnati we happened upon Bridges as it was close to our hotel and had food we had not tried before. We loved everything, from the helpful staff and very delicious food. We were offered samples of various dishes, which helped us decide what to order. We ate in the restaurant, but saw many locals picking up to go food. You can't go wrong eating here.
