Have been here a couple of times. The first time I ordered the Poke bowl which was not bad but I would have liked to have had better sauce options & fresh fruit instead of canned! The second time I wanted to order sushi however the place ran out of white rice, which was surprising to me considering it is a sushi establishment. The owner was super friendly tho and provided great service, which made the frustrating situation more bearable. The place was also clean. Definitely want to give this place another try!

I worked here but I'm going to do my best on an unbiased review! In terms of sushi here in Oxford, this is the cheapest good sushi you'll get. I lived through Sushi Nara and I exist during the Sushi King era, and neither of them hold the same quality as Brick House for the price. Brick House quality isn't worse on the half-price days- it honestly has nothing to do with the time shipments come in. Basically, you aren't getting worse quality sushi on Sunday-Monday.This doesn't necessarily have the best vibes to sit and eat, but many people do! I would consider this more of a takeout place, personally. Truly this is a great Oxford business to support and while it isn't necessarily the best sushi ever, it's solid considering the price. Owner is a sweet guy and employees are nice too. Also I waited at an empty Sushi King for over an hour for just a few rolls at an entirely empty restaurant during lunch. I would say Brick House is significantly faster unless there is a major issue.

One of my favorite places- cheap sushi Sunday - Tuesday w the half off and is great given the price. Highly recommend the hand roll and the sweet potato tempura. Service is super quick, my orders were always ready on time. You could totally eat there but we usually just picked it up.

This place's name is very deceiving as it's more of a to-go Asian place (there is seating it just has more of a to-go feeling). My mother got the Cobb salad and loved it! She thought the little plastic orb bowl it comes in was super cute. I got the volcano roll which had spicy scallop sushi smothered in a spicy mayo sauce. It was super messy but delicious. I also got the mango milk tea with the tapioca pearls in it. It was pretty good but not life-changing. The reason this review is so low is that it somehow cost us $60 for those three items. An absolutely ridiculous price!!

People, run away from this restaurant if you want sushi rolls. We ordered a bunch of half priced rolls on Sunday and they are the worst rolls I have ever had. I am even ok with grocery store rolls so my expectations are not that high. But I had to spit out some rolls. They are bad, like rotten bad. Their yellowtail actually has a "yellow" crust, that means that fish is way too old. Their "spicy salmon", "spicy tuna" rolls are just salmon and tuna rolls with a puddle of spicy mayo on top. And they are all inedible.I have no idea how anyone would give any stars.

The item described as "Pork bun" was actually some chopped up pork inside of an English muffin. I was expecting of course BBQ pork inside of a steamed bun. Words fail me in describing my disappointment. And to add insult to injury, they cost $4 EACH!!! Never again!
