Compliments to the cook and to this darling small town. We love to stop at small local places on road trips and Brau Haus delivered!Cute old school place. You seat yourself, you get side salads in a small wood bowl, the fried chicken is delicious... my hubby's burger was super yummy... Locally owned charm done right. Then drive around this darling small town and enjoy their German connections. What a gem!

I'm sorry but I didn't like it. Service was so slow with very small crowd. The chicken was terrible, my stomach was upset before we left with half our meal still on the plate. I won't go back.

Don't be fooled by the name of the restaurant- the menu offers a variety of salads, seafood, sandwiches, German dishes, and their much-talked-about fried chicken.I ordered the half chicken basket with a side salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and dinner rolls. The chicken was crispy and lightly seasoned and the sides were good. Outdoor dining on the deck. There are minimal parking places so be prepared to walk a short distance. Suggest reservations.

As you drive up this beautiful quaint house beautifully decorated on the outside of this German restaurant.As you walk in the ambience is German absolutely wonderful On Tuesdays they have a chicken special three pieces of chicken mashed potatoes with white gravy, fresh green beans, and a roll . We were there yesterday and totally enjoyed ourselves.

I almost never give reviews, much less bad ones. I figure everyone can have a bad day. However, I consider it an act of mercy to warn people about this establishment. The decorations were the only thing good about this place. It's sad, because years agomy parents raved about Oldenburg and the food. My child's chicken fingers were so burnt they were inedible. The service was mediocre at best, my schnitzel was mediocre to passing, as was the tenderloin. I truly hope they're able to turn this place around!
