Bowman & Landes Turkeys Farm Market

Great "hidden gem" to get fresh cut meat (ESPECIALLY turkey!!), cheese, and lots of other country fresh staples. I recently put together an "Ohio Made" gift basket, and this was a great spot to find delicious jams, maple syrup, and more. We used to live closer to the area, but I made a 20-30 minute trip KNOWING I'd find tons of farm fresh products, and I wasn't disappointed. Come here for suuuper fresh turkey and all the trimmings for Thanksgiving, and/or all year round. Awesome family-run operation!!

Love this local turkey farm! I've had sandwiches, pies, meats, deli items, and other grocery type things from here and have always been happy with both the quality and service. It looks a bit like an old fashioned grocery store on the inside. Very cute. You can order thanksgiving turkeys here. My husband did that once and we were very happy with it. We usually don't do a big thanksgiving anymore but I'd order again if we did. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to. Great little hometown sort of place.

Love it here. Every employee is friendly and helpful every time I've come in. Love the choices of cheeses and meats. Especially love the deli wraps and sandwiches that are made fresh. You can even grab a pre-made wrap from their cooler. We got rib eye steaks too yo grill at home and they were awesome and huge. Well worth the price. I love how they had fresh cut flowers around Mothers Day too. They were beautiful.

Pickup date for our Thanksgiving turkey ...Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving at 0900...one of 50 so cars in the parking lot at the store opening.Bowman & Landes Turkeys was prepared to comply with COVID-19 restrictions in a orderly fashion. With a crew in yellow raincoats (it was raining), to direct you to a parking slot the parking lot. Painted signs and arrows to show you the flow where you are to enter the store. Employees stationed every 12 feet to assist you in shopping and picking up your turkey. It was a most efficient production line, had my turkey picked up, paid for and out to my car in less than five minutes.Because of the care Bowman & Landes to protect their customers from COVID-19 virus, I will ever buy my young roasting turkeys from them.

Great source of fresh, frozen and smoked turkey products. What is surprising are the cheeses, lunch meats and even custom made sandwiches.Great Stuff!

How has no one reviewed Bowman & Landes yet? I'm honored. I used to live in New Carlisle, and my extended family still lives in the area. It wasn't until I was older and became more concerned about buying local meat that I learned that my grandmother has purchased her Thanksgiving turkey from B & L for YEARS. Now that I'm an adult, I buy local meat (preferably organic and/or free range) whenever possible. Since I'm regularly in the area, I try to stop by their deli store to stock up on turkey products. Not only can you purchase your Thanksgiving turkey, but their deli has a great selection of products, such as deli meat, turkey breast, local pork/beef/chicken, cheeses, broth, and noodles. All of the lunch meats are made with their turkey. The turkey pastrami is killer! You can also pick up frozen ground turkey, and they have excellent ground turkey breakfast sausage!You can support a family-owned business and eat a free range turkey that lived a happy turkey life! It's a win-win, really. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and their prices are more than fair. It's worth the drive from Columbus to stock up your freezer!

The shop and turkey farm are excellent. Service is superior. They offer goods from various local businesses which is great to learn who our local vendors are and allows for customers to have exposure to those vendors. I wish I would remember to shop there more regularly!

I always love stopping out here great selection of meats and dairy and I love the butter highly recommend and would stop out and check it out
