Boston Stoker Coffee Roastery

I was super excited when I read an invitation on their website to stop by for a tour of their facility. Traveling east from Indianapolis to Akron, Ohio, I called Boston Stoker and asked if I could get a tour and the person on the line went out of her way to make some calls to make a visit possible for me. The employee who showed me around the roastery took a personal interest in getting to know me and my love for coffee and tailored the tour to my interests and level of knowledge. He didn't seemed rushed and was genuinely interested in sharing with me about Boston Stoker, like their history and what they have been doing in the specialty coffee world. To top off the visit with a wonderful display of souther hospitality he brewed me a pour over of a favorite coffee the team was drinking at the time and sent me off with a bunch of sweet stickers. A great place to go if you want fresh roasted coffee beans . And it makes it even better it's Boston Stoker Coffee. It also smells amazing inside while you pay to get your coffee .

For many years I've drank only the best coffee from around the world, so i'm not easily impressed; but, last week I was at Boston Stoker's warehouse and Vincent made me the best cup of coffee I've had in my life. It was an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe that had just been roasted the day before. Incredible. The aftertaste lingered for over an hour, and I postponed my lunch because I didn't want the aftertaste to go away. Definitely as good as it gets.
