We had a great casual dinner and drink here early on a Friday night. The beer was fantastic and the German inspired food pretty good! I would enjoy checking out their events at another point.

Enjoyed some live music, beer and relaxing vibes. Bock is on the Dayton Ale Trail as well as OhioOnTap. Their beers have been getting better all the time and they now have more food items in the menu.

One of the nicest brewery venues in the entire Dayton area. Beautifully decorated. They have 2 party rooms. Very rustic decor. For it to be in a strip mall. It feels very homey and comfortable. The beer was solid. I did a flight which included an Irish stout, Scottish ale and a tart cider. They had about 15 beers on tap, and also included a guest tap. The bartender/owner was very friendly and provided a lot of great information on the beer. She was very knowledgeable. Just a very nice experience. They do offer live music on the weekends. Plenty of parking is available. It's kind of hidden if you don't know where you are going, so make sure you, follow your GPS. Highly recommend.

Our third brewery of the night and last stop before heading home. Met the owners. Very friendly folks! We stopped in here for about 30 mins to sample their IPA wares. I had their Rose Hip Blonde called Aria Rose. Nice light and refreshing. Nicole had Negligent Entrustment which was a fruity IPA. Not too high on the IBU scale. We played one of the games. Mayla played with another kid. I liked some of the playfulness with the notes of friut in these beers but they were not experimental enough for me.Nice ambiance. Voted 2nd best bar bathrooms. Well now! That's something! Worth a visit.

I have been wanting to go to Bock Family Brewing since my husband and I met the owners at a local festival. We enjoyed the brews and talking with them. We finally found the location (via google). I was very excited when we arrived at Bock Family Brewing. I wanted to have an enjoyable experience there. I do like the set up, such as the different rooms that are set up within the building for cozy chatting, family games, etc. However, that did not make up for the disappointment in the staff's service and the over priced food.......We sat at the bar and ordered a variety of beers to try. We did enjoy those... however, the bartender was too busy talking on her phone and chatting with the regulars to care about service. And we had lots of questions about the menu. By the way, the menu does not state that there are "up-charges" for various sides, such as the soup). As for the food, it was average tasting with the exception of the potato soup which is made in-house and is tasty. But it was way overpriced. My husband got a hot dog and paid $10.00. It was a 2 oz mixed meat hot dog. Nothing special at all, for that price they should offer a 4 oz hot dog and include the soup. It did come with a side, which my husband declined as he really wanted soup. I did not hear the bartender tell him there was an up-charge for the soup (the up-charge ended up being $3 for barely a cup of soup, which was served in a much larger bowl than needed). I ordered the ham and beer cheese sandwich which was pretty good, it was $10 as well. I wasn't aware of that I was declining a side. I actually thought the soup was my side. I was charged $3 more for the soup. In addition, we had to ask for silverware and napkins as neither staff person that served us noticed that we didn't have silverware. So our bill for 1 round of beer and a hot dog, ham and beer cheese sandwich and 2 cups of potato soup was $44.00 (before tip). When we paid our bill, the minimum tip amount available was 20%. Customers should not be required to pay a 20% tip if the service doesn't warrant the 20%. I left feeling I was way overcharged and very disappointed with the experience.I really wanted to like Bock Family Brewing. I doubt I will go back.

My first visit here was a delightful one. I stopped by to check out the off-season market they host on Saturdays during the winter season. I think it's awesome that they have local venders coming in to do it! I had some of their Big Belly, the sour ale, and thought it was great. I'd like to see more sours on their list in the future. So far, a nice a cozy experience here.

Beer is good. Not sure on the food. In the past food was a bit slow to get. I'll have try again soon. They do participate with beer books for 2025. That's why we went there.

We came from out of town to host a baby shower for our son and Daughter n law. Jen was fantastic to work with. She was patient with me while asking her 500 questions. We had it catered and it was fantastic!! The Alpenhorn Sandwiches were my all time favorite and the cheesy spaetzle (like Mac n cheese) was really good! Everything was high quality and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Service was terrible except for one waitress who was not even on the clock that came and helped our table. Saw that the place was a 4.8 on google and though maybe this may be good. Entered the building and while the place looked great on the inside I could tell that there was something wrong. There was next to no people there on a Saturday at prime dinner hour. Eventually figured out we would be seating ourselves and sat down. A server immediately came up to us and took our drinks and food. That was the last time we saw that specific server. A food worker in the back came and brought the food out and I could tell there was something wrong already the kids pizza looked like it came out of a schoolroom cafeteria freezer. The Ruben and brats / mash were not much better. Ruben tasted tough and off and that it was microwaved. Also it was not on rye. As for the brats and mash I changed my mash to German potato salad. One of the brats tasted off and the potato salad was dry. The only saving grace about the place was one server who was not even on the clock that came and asked what was wrong and comped half our meal. We will not be going back to bock's again.
