Boba House

There aren't a lot of boba places east of Cincinnati. Or at least in Batavia (zero actually). So luckily I found Boba house within the mint bistro restaurant. We came here after dinner and I just wanted matcha milk tea with boba and I have to say that their boba quality is the best boba quality so far I've had here in Cincinnati. It had such a good texture, a good chew, and it was actually flavorful. The milk tea itself was good but I think it was most likely a pre-powdered mix like I've seen at other places. I'm used to the from scratch type in Southern California. Anywho I'm very happy that this is a 10 minute drive for me versus a 30 minute drive so I'll be coming back here again for the Boba.

My go to drink is their delicious Brown Sugar Milk Tea but today I was craving something fruity and light before playing pickleball. I got the Kumquat fruit tea and it was very refreshing and the orange flavor was exactly what I was looking for on a hot day. This is my favorite place to get boba tea. I appreciate their unique fresh drinks, friendly customer service and positive energy!

So I spent some time trying to figure out just where this place was before i checked yelp and saw Mint Bistro in the photos. It's inside the restaurant! I was sad I already had grabbed dinner because Mint Bistro looked and smelled amazing. The fact that I could also have high quality boba with my meal is always a plus. They were busy but they still let me order boba from the host desk, and had it ready super fast for me. The cups are so cute too! rounded bottoms make them more aesthetically pleasing than your average boba cup. Both the tea and boba were clearly of great quality and I can't wait to go back and actually try the food. I'll add a recipe for the bistro when i do!

Wintermelon milk tea with tapioca pearls was a nice and cozy drink. Service was very quick.
