I enjoyed my meal and the staff was definitely friendly!I only had to wait 10-12mins for my food (which they were a little busy) but when i got the food, it was hot and fresh. I'm in LOVE with that mac n' cheese... so creamy and delicious! Definitely a must try

We wanted southern style food, Big Momma's Soul Kitchen hit the spot. We ordered pork chops with mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. The food was excellent and the service was great!!! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Every sunday me and my boyfriend go get soul food after church. we wanted to try a new spot today so we came here and will never be back .. we waited an hour for our food ( we were never told there was a long wait ) the customer service was so disappointing. We thought the food would be great after we had to wait so long and it was some of the most disgusting soul food i've ever eaten. i got fried chicken, greens and mac n cheese. my mac and cheese was mushy with no flavor, my fried chicken was not crispy , it was soggy and mushy with no flavor and my greens were so unseasoned and had no flavor. for a soul food spot in the west end , you'd think it'd be great but i would never recommend this food.

We waited for almost a hour for baked chicken with stuffing two sides and cornbread. This is crazy work!! When we first arrived we asked how was the service and if this was the same restaurant from the west end. He explain that this was a new company. They bought the business from big mama and her family. Well I guess they should have bought the customer service as well! Waiting a hour for pre made food is sick! The food could be amazing but because of the service my family will not be back! We waited all the time for cornbread. At this point, just give out bread. I would give a 1 star rating.

They have everything ready for you to pick between already cooked right then. Everything is especially tasty and the people are very nice .friendly. helpful and courteous. The atmosphere is good fun and smiles. I love this restaurant home cooking with a dining experience.
