Rude , limited hours, small selections to choose from and cake is not consistent . Unprofessional .

Stopped in here this morning to find a coffee cake for Saturday breakfast; bought a lovely raspberry one. Quick service and a variety of sweets...cookies, Danish, the afore mentioned coffee cakes and many kinds of breads, both sweet and regular. You can also buy and special order cakes. If you are in the area of Wilmington Pike and Dorothy Lane and your sweet tooth starts bugging you, stop in.

Never open. I've tried coming by at all different hours for months and can never find anyone there during normalbusiness hours. No sign saying out ofBusiness but they sure act like it.

My son and daughter-in-law ordered a cake for their daughter's first birthday party. Very disappointing. The cake was super dry and the icing was not the buttercream they ordered. I won't be recommending this bakery as I have in the past.

Excellent decorated cakes (with much better frosting than anywhere else), yummy butter cookies, tasty Danishes, and more! Belmont Bakery made our wedding cake in 1988, and we have been devoted customers ever since. The service is always polite and professional. We love just walking into the shop because it smells so good!

I had a family birthday party for my 2 kids on August the 19th (Sunday). My aunt who was ordering the cakes, picked Belmont Bakery since she lives in Kettering, and because we've never tried them before. She called on Friday morning to order each of my kids a 2 layer cake. And it was a VERY easy order. 1 white 2 layer cake w/ chocolate buttercream, and 1 chocolate 2 layer cake with regular butercream frosting. All we wanted was my son's cake to be decorated in New York Giants colors (Blue, White, and Red), and my daughter's cake decorated in purple and green. Plain and simple: it was a SIMPLE cake. No fancy shmancy character cakes, nothing. So my aunt was told that there was NO WAY they could do 2 layer cakes for the kids. They needed more time than Friday and Saturday to get the cakes done. They aren't open Sundays, but my aunt could have picked them up late on Saturday. So anyways...she gets the cakes FIRST THING SATURDAY MORNING right when they open...((which were only 1 layer cakes BTW...and thank goodness, because they were the worst cakes I have EVER had! I told my aunt in the beginning not to get Kroger cakes, but I would MUCH rather have had her spend the $ on Kroger cakes than these!)). So anyways...she gets them like I said...FIRST thing Saturday morning. You want to talk about STALE?!??!!! Holy cow! These two cakes were DRY AS SAND PAPER. And EVERYONE at the birthday party believed this. Not only were the cakes OBVIOUSLY pre-made at LEAST 2 days before our party, but the chocolate cake that was SUPPOSED to have the buttercream frosting? Yea...it didn't. It was plain white, vanilla frosting. And not good either. =( Also...My son's cake that was supposed to be in New York Giants colors? Oh yea...there were about 8 VERY small blue, white, and MAROON flowers on it...AND THE REST OF THE CAKE WAS DONE IN GREEN!! Green vines all over, and ALL GREEN HANDWRITING! Really? How about some BLUE, RED, OR WHITE writing to MATCH what we WANTED??All I have to say is, OMG...worst cake experience ever, and my whole family will DEFINIETLY be going to Ele Cake from now on!!!

Love this bakery . I have ordered cakes for my children for there birthdays for many years . They are yummy and the people are great they will do what u need without any problems . Great cookies ,pies and everything they have is yummy .Give them a try
