Our car club was in the city visiting members and decided to have dinner here. It was a nice experience considering we don't have anything like it in Indy. May be a little overpriced, but it is a buffet so I can see the reasoning. The food was pretty good. There was also a bar. After dinner, most guests head outside to watch the boat head down the river or to hear the live band on the top floor.

This was a 2 hour trip down the river. Our trip was from 12-2 with lunch served. You can board at 11am and the buffet is open and ready for you. They're buffet is mediocre at best. The highlight was the mashed potatoes and the mixed veggies. I had the beef tips and the gravy was delicious, but unfortunately the beef was overcooked. The chicken was good. The table service was excellent and they replenished the food in a timely manner. They have little plastic red seats around the deck so you can enjoy the tour and the nice breeze coming off the water. The tour guide comes over the PA system giving you some interesting information about the river and the area in general. He was excellent and kept your attention. They get you back promptly at 2pm and you disembark. Great for families of all ages. SN: they have a cash bar for alcoholic beverages.

I proposed to my girlfriend on this boat and the crew went above and beyond to accommodate our experience. The dinner was amazing and even though a large group of middle schoolers was on board, the experience was perfect. I cannot explain how impressed I was with the service. Five stars all the way!!

The BELLE OF CINCINNATI is a beautiful recreation of the traditional steamboat operating at Cincinnati, OH. The food service aboard it first rate...good stuff served by a great staff. The entertainment on the 3rd of July Old Coney cruise was pretty abysmal. It consisted of a DJ on the roof of the boat who was piped through the boat at a volume level that was almost too high for conversation. The calliope was not played, nor was any attention given to the passengers in regards to what would and would not happen at the Coney Island landing. The only announcement was to tell the passengers what time to be aboard. All the information my guests and I needed was second hand information we got from service staff members. Although the boat is beautiful and the staff great. The entertainment and information imparted to the passenger is pretty low rent in my book. For the cost of the cruise, I expected a little better.
