Beautiful venue in a wide open space of an old church. Remodeled & versatile w/ huge room for wedding ceremony & reception in same place. Then courtyard available for hors d'oeuvres while they switch over the church interior space. Available are rooms for bridal party, outdoor and inside open bars and private parking lot. Decor is amazing for pictures w/ huge stain glass windows. Then lights are changeable for party time. Drawbacks: can only enter from stage so can't be late or you'll pop out in middle of stage w/ bride & groom. Restroom was a bit tight w/ only one stall. The huge long ramp runs down middle & bisects the room a bit. Otherwise servers were on the ball & the food was well prepared. The courtyard was a fave for most guests. Very nice & impressive.

This place is GORGEOUS! The huge ceilings and details along with the stained glass windows makes this place so so special. We went for the candlelight concert but it's also popular for weddings as well

Attended a wedding here, as a bridesmaid, so I spent a good amount of time at the rehearsal, morning/day of the wedding and then the actual ceremony and reception.I must say, the lady (Alexis I believe?) that leads the whole thing is a rockstar. She makes sure everything happens in proper sequence and really takes a huge load off the bride and bridesmaids. She's great at her job. There is a room for bride and groom on the opposite side of the space, almost a totally separate building but it is connected by a short overhead tunnel. Regardless, the space is good sized and also has a restroom. The bride room easily fit around 10 ladies, anymore than that would've been a little tight. The ceremony and reception area is gorgeous, an old Catholic Church. The alter is surrounded by tall pillars, candles, religious artwork. It's quite stunning. During cocktail hour outside, the staff flips the inside to a reception hall. As a bridesmaid, we were in and out a lot with pictures and it was so nice to see the staff really bustling around to make sure everything was perfect. Food was yummy, space was gorgeous, clean, everything you'd expect. I don't say this lightly but this was the best wedding I've ever attended (including my own). I know this was a joint effort for everybody but the Bell Event Center rocked their part!!!

Wow! I was very impressed with this venue. Though we were only guests of the persons holding the event, this place was impressive as far guest service, decorations, amenities, etc. The venue itself was beautiful and had plenty of space. The menu provided was absolutely delicious, from the hor d'Oeuvres to the salad, to the side dishes and entrees....every single item was delicious. The event host was "present" and accommodating to the guest. I want to give an honorable mention to the details regarding the women's restroom. You can tell that they thought of mostly everything a woman needs... spray deodorant, hairspray, bobby-pins, cotton, cotton tips, body spray and even tampons! It's the little things that impressed me ;) If ever I could afford this place to have an event in, I would sure enough book this place. It's pretty awesome.

Beautiful venue! Pictures can't do it justice. Since it still has "church attributes" (alter, pipe organ, stained glass windows, decorative ceilings, tile inlays, bells, art, architectural elements, etc.), it is perfect backdrop for a wedding. It can be used for other large gatherings like business meetings, club gatherings, parties, etc. Your guests will be impressed!Parking is limited. Attendees may have to find parking on side streets or across the street at the casino.

I spent New year's Eve with friends here last night. I have attended other events in this beautiful space in the past. The building is an old church with many original elements still in place. I have been impressed every time I've visited. Last night was my first New year's party here. Everything was very well organized and thought out. The decorations were beautiful. Food was great and little details like popcorn and doughnuts were a plus for me. The theme was a carnival type atmosphere with jugglers, a palm reader and acrobats. The music and entertainment were great. My only suggestion would have been for more seating. We arrived very early and were able to get a table but there were 300 guests and seating for only half. Even though it was a party, people, especially ladies, want a seat to rest their feet and leave a purse.

The Bell Event Center was the picture perfect package for our wedding. It is an old church turned into an event center. The staff is excellent and the food served was delicious. There are many food and drink packages to pick from. It is not your typical blain wedding food, their appetizers are gourmet, even the cheese tray is upscale. The main dish and drinks were all upscale.I really can't say enough wonderful things about the staff service environment and our special day here. People still tell us how it is their favorite wedding venue, they have been. My pictures are breath taking. I was so happy with everything provided by the staff!

In 2012, I shot two weddings at the Bell Event Centre (June and November). I was SO excited to finally photograph a wedding at this amazing venue - and let me say, I was NOT disappointed. Everything was perfect, perfect, perfect. The first wedding was in June, and they had everything at the Bell. The staff is amazing. I was just a vendor, but they even made me feel like a guest! They are professional, polite, courteous - I can't say enough about what a great job they all do.The food at both weddings was SO good. I was lucky enough that both brides insisted we eat, so they even had a table for us. Both meals were delicious. In both cases, I felt like I was dining in an upscale restaurant - versus being at a wedding venue. As for the building - this is just a cool venue. It's hard to compare to anything, because it's so unique. I suggest a DJ who can do some cool up-lighting - which both my brides had. And go outside - for my November wedding, we did some shots outside by the brick wall and the little park across the street. Definitely go up to the balcony for photos - tell your photographer to get out their fish eye, too!In summary, this venue is just GORGEOUS and gets five stars when it comes to staff, food, coolness, etc. LOVE IT!

The Bell Event Centre was the perfect place for our wedding reception! The brick courtyard was a gorgeous setting for our cocktail hour. The inside of the venue is absolutely stunning! So many elements of the old church offer such a breathtaking space. I felt that I needed to add very little decor of my own to the space as it was so lovely already. The light streaming through the stained glass windows was so beautiful. The candles at the table and up on the altar gave the space a golden glow throughout the whole night. The food was delicious and the wedding coordinators helped work with my florist, the DJ, and the bakery. Our coordinator, Emily, was amazing to work with during the wedding planning process. She was so responsive and helped take care of every single detail. The wedding day ran so smoothly in her hands! We could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend the Bell Event Centre as a beautiful venue with very capable staff.

It's sad to say such a wonderful place and venue the experience was ruined by the staff. We booked this venue last year and defiantly were blinded from beginning. We were set to meet up with a coord names Josh and he's was not experienced enough for this position, but he was let go by the company with in the year of our planning. So at this time we got switched between whoever was left. Finally I got placed with a coordinator named Kelsey ( the only person who was personably and seemed to care about a vision for a wedding). She seemed to be great and understand what we wanted. but unfortunately we got moved to someone else and I was told by Sarah Hicks we would bet the best service as all the best of the best would be present for our wedding... That was a joke, I maybe seen my coordinator three times the whole night, at rehearsal everything was decent, we had timing together and everything for our entrance and of course wedding day had a whole different person and messed it up. We also did not know the Bell Center is not owned by who we were renting from it's owned by someone else and they TOOK OUT THE BELLS!! and didn't let any of us know. I was also upset when the staff broke some of my decorations I made because they couldn't figure out how to turn them on when I showed Sarah previously. We paid for extra time at the venue and paid for the bar to stay open. at 8pm the bar closed down and we count even get water and was suppose to be open till 10pm. My husband said something about it and Sarah said she would check into it but I doubt she did. They also lost a remote to my flameless candles, we did decided to leave a bit early but it's okay the venue made sure to take the $1,100 as a profit after they charges over $20,000 for the night. I still don't understand how they can get away with charging children for alcohol but they do! over 6 you get charged for alcohol! My photographer was amazing and actually helped me almost all night compared to my coordinator. My friend got married at this venue and we had different experience by far I guess it's all who you deal with if I could recommend not Sarah. Literally the company needs better organization and communication.
