Bel-Wood Country Club

I attended a wedding here last Saturday, and it was a very nice venue.My fiance was in the wedding party, so we got to check it out Friday, for rehearsal, as well as Saturday, for the wedding. I was shocked when the bride told me they let her set everything up on Thursday (no Fri. wedding there that week) - for our venue, we only get to start setting up about 2.5 hours before, on the day of!Food was very good but apparently was catered (not from the venue), I heard. The venue itself was very charming, as others have said on here, and looks like it would be a nice place to play golf - they have a restaurant too, and locker rooms (my fiance said the groomsmen got to get ready/hang out in the locker rooms before the ceremony).Their ceremony was going to be outdoors, overlooking a waterfall/water feature, but unfortunately it rained that AM and they held it indoors instead - the reception room/ballroom is large enough that this was no problem, and I guesstimate that they had about 80-90 guests, including the wedding party. It was rather windy out that day too so I was glad it was indoors.Overall, a very nice spot to hold a wedding.

I had my wedding at Bel-Wood in August and it was absolutely amazing. Not only was the venue beautiful, but the wedding coordinator with the venue, Narnia, went above and beyond to make my day go perfectly. Every transition was smooth and she made it so that I didn't have to worry about anything on my big day. I would definitely recommend Bel-Wood for anyone looking for a beautiful location for their wedding, and an incredible wedding coordinator!

Private country club (and actually in the country, hilly beautiful Morrow): very narrow almost everywhere here; definitely a tight and somewhat short track, even from the blues. If you're a 20 plus handicap, bring a dozen balls, you'll be using them. Trees, trees everywhere. Rarely crowded here (it's in the country!), greens in nice shape always, however they're also tiny, so hitting an approach shot is like throwing a dart at a bullseye (better have good control of your wedges).Restaurant food is excellent and has been for over 10 years, ownership places high emphasis and takes pride in the full-service bar and food operation here. Pro Shop is ok for a small country club....Beautiful patio off restaurant, overlooks #1. Full bar. Club hosts lots of receptions. Not my favorite course in Greater Cincinnati but it's well groomed and maintained, and has a few challenging holes for sure. Big accurate drivers are sure to score in the 80's or even 70's.

I can only speak of behalf of the venue, not the course. The bar area is nice and the staff is exceptional. Great spot for a wedding reception!

This club is adorable. Not only is the pool charming but the golf course is kept up very well. The grounds grew is seen working hard. Especially TJ he is a real hard worker! Beautiful scenery with the ponds and gorgeous trees around. One of my favorite places to golf!
