Golf course not in best condition & the rate is not accommodating to this. The tee boxes were quite hard (I broke two wooden tees on first two holes then I got smart & switched over to plastic tee ) and could use some serious watering. The markers were too close together on many holes & need to be moved. Nothing worse then trying to find a good spot to stand when trying to crank your ball off the tee because you are standing in multiple divots and craploads of broken tees that are now piercing through your shoe into the sole of your foot. Greenskeeper head needs to learn how to map out moving the markers each week to make it through the season. The cart paths were literally 50 feet away from each tee box. Not sure why whoever cut them in couldn't get the path nearer to the boxes. The greens were recently aerated but they must have purchased a load Course P grade sand instead of fine grade sand. I swear my ball bounced & wobbled from hitting huge pebbles in the 'sand' on its way to the hole easily costing me 6 strokes. I have to give credit to pretty nice fairways throughout. They were mostly thick plush grass and the ball laid well on them allowing you good contact with club. If your ball deviated into the rough however, it gets quite hard, dry and so your ball will keep running taking you to places you just don't want to be. I think Beckett Ridge GC has improved but there's still a laundry list of items that can be done to bring it up to just acceptable... right now it just is not there

Local favor coupon approved over phone. Once got to course it was denied. Denied due to new management which was non customer friendly. Course was dry and traps were full of grass. Totally unmaintained. Even our golf cart's hill break was broken. Had to park so it leaned against something. Will not be returning even with a coupon.

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE WORST GOLF COURSE IN OHIO! This place is an absolute joke. Management does not care about their customers. Arrived 20 minutes before tee time and was told the round would cost $35 and not $25 which was the rate I booked on Golf Now. When I showed them the confirmation they responded "Oh we aren't on Golf Now". They finally adjusted the price but had to talk to multiple people to get it done.We then bought beers and were told we do not get a bag or ice for our beers. We were to use the coolers on the cart that do not have any ice. One of the staff members was graciously going to give me a small bag of ice, but the owner stepped in and told me they only had two bags of ice for the entire course and I need to make do with the coolers. So it was great to drink warm beers on a 70 degree day. The course condition was horrendous. Tee boxes were so beat up they looked like they had not been touched in years. Sand Traps and greens were the worst I've ever seen. They obviously put no money into the upkeep.Today is a Saturday and the online rate is $50 for 18. WHAT A JOKE! Do not pay more than $20 to play this terrible course. They should not even have a license to do business with how poorly they treat the customers and the course. Their poor effort of keeping up the course is a reflection of who these people are, just looking to make a quick buck and not putting together a great customer experience. Please give your money to somebody else other than these jokers!

Golfers beware! If you choose Beckett Ridge as a golfing destination be prepared for hostile pro shop staff and bad course management. No matter your skill level they will find a way to make it tough to enjoy! The course is known to kick you off the practice greens and put a couple groups in front of you when making the turn. Unfortunately the course itself cannot make up for the rude and incompetent staff.

Greens fee $70. WTF! Greens horrible. Punched and sand dressed in August. Not worth it. Too many other options in the area for a lot less money!

I read a bunch of reviews, quite a few of which were really bad, especially about the staff. But I decided to give it a shot anyway. It was my first time out in 7 months, so I only played 9 holes. They're building a new clubhouse, so there's construction equipment, fencing, and a temporary pro shop where I checked in. I saw these inconveniences as a POSITIVE sign because it means they're investing in the course/property.The gentleman in the trailer was as pleasant as he could possibly be, and he explained things as a delightful young lady handed me a scorecard and a pencil. I loaded up the coart and headed to the first tee, where the starter walked me through everything (it was my first time here). He was also as delightful as he could be, and he even gave me some general pointers and some specific pointers about blind holes, staying below the hole, etc.I actually found the front 9 to be a very nice layout, and it was in pretty good shape. Even after a morning rain, the greens were fast for this time of year, and they seemed to roll very true. My game fell apart the last 3 or 4 holes, but I found the course to be quite challenging and quite enjoyable. The cart paths were in pretty rough shape, but otherwise I thought the course was very nice. Not easy, but nice! When I returned the cart after the quick round I had a nice chat with the gentleman in the temporary pro shop. He introduced himself as Tony, the head pro, and he candidly explained some of the challenges the course has faced over the years. He also explained what they're trying to accomplish moving forward with the new ownership/management. They're spending money and resources, and they clearly have a pro and a facility person who care, and who are putting effort into upgrading things properly AND treating patrons the way they should be treated. I was really impressed with Tony's positivity, professionalism, and appreciation. I will definitely be back!!

Should've been great experience went completely left. Supposed to have had a 7:25 am tee time for 2. Arrived at hole #1 at 7:20 and the starter didn't want to make eye contact, which foreshadowed what was next to come. He advised us that he was going to allow the 3 some with a 7:40 tee time to play ahead of us, which rubbed me the wrong way. Next a 4 some shows and indicates that they were 20 minutes late for their tee time. He then tells us that he going to allow them to play ahead of us because they're foursome. I told him that made absolutely no sense and how unhappy I was with our treatment. I asked him his name, which he said was David the Assistant Golf Pro. I'm not sure if he was being honest for not. I just know he was a little man with bad teeth. I would assume was due to his treatment of others. I've supported this overpriced course in the past, but never again. You don't have to tell me twice that my money isn't appreciated.

Horrible overbooking. It took over 2 and 1/2 hours to finish 9 holes. It was absolutely ridiculous and multiple people were complaining so I'm not over exaggerating. A group behind us called in and nothing changed. At one point there were 3 foursomes behind us and two in front of us on the same hole... It is a pretty course but not the best experience.

This place reminds me of the busted up ski resort from Hot Tub Time Machine. Needs a lot of work.
