Love this place! Always an amazing time - Hudy schooner - need I say more?! Plus I love the live music. Truly a downtown gem. Plus, I love that I don't have to worry about drunk Santas.

The Bay Horse is back, baby! The new owner is super friendly and always says, "welcome home" when we arrive. Nice assortment of draft beers and even more cans and bottles. Note, they do not have food at this time. The crowd is varied and there is a nice back room with some board games, too. Stop in to this cool downtown dive!

I push the door open and the first sensation I feel is one of welcome. And it just goes uphill from there. What an amazing place, By my standard a great bar is one where you never know who will walk in the door next. This place has it all. Servers (rock stars) , college students, street people, priests, nuns, poets, musicians, artists, musicians, bores,. All are present. If you need authenticity please come hang with me, because I am home.

Thank God I found a place with no Santa Claus idiots. Awesome bar. Great staff. They work hard and it's a great experience.

Got refused service for wearing a Santa hat during Santacon. Only 2 people in the bar at the time. Have been going there for almost 40 years. The former owner was awesome but the new owner needs to learn how to run a bar. He screwed his employees out of tips from 8 customers. I'm wondering if I will get kicked out opening day for wearing Reds gear.
