Barry Bagels

People who have travelled a lot and enjoyed bagels in other markets (NYC etc) have said you can't get a decent bagel in Dayton. They need to get here to Barry's. Great selection of flavors and schmears. Super service.

Got the poppy seed bagel and it was really nice and fresh with plenty of poppy seeds covering the top. They have great choices of flavored coffee and some non-dairy powdered creamer. Could've done without the Christian propaganda when leaving.

Breakfast Bagel was fantastic, just need to mention "toasted" if you like it that way. Great Bagel, Coke Products ! Service was attentive, double entrance is nice, front and back.

I went to Barry Bagels and was very happy with what I got! I got a Eggel with meat and cheese and it was so good. I will definitely be getting it again!I also tried the Vanilla Cinnamon bagel with the maple brown sugar cream cheese and it was also very tasty! Definitely more on the sweet side than the Eggel but a great combination. Don't be scared away by the line, it goes fast!

This place exceeded our expectations! I love a soft bagel and the consistency was exactly that. I love that you could customize your sandwich the way you like it. Staff was so nice too. We'll definitely be coming back!

Cute little place with lots of options and offers. I would describe it as a fancy subway that uses bagels instead of subs and wraps. I ordered a plain jalapeño cheddar bagel and matzo ball soup. Hubby ordered a sausage egg and bacon on cinnamon vanilla bagel. The wait wasn't long and we ate our meals there. It was great!

We tried Barry's after hearing some rave reviews from friends. Stopped in for a couple breakfast bagel sandwiches on a Saturday morning. I ordered a farmers egg (tomatoes, onions and green peppers mixed in) with ham and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. My SO got a bacon, egg and cheese on an asiago cheese bagel. They have several different employees popping up to the counter willing to help the next available customer. However, ours must've been either relatively new or simply not paying attention. After we ordered, she asked us at least 3 times what we wanted on our bagels. In addition, it took entirely too long to make two bagel sandwiches, to the point that other employees were passing around her to the register with their completed orders.The bagel sandwich itself was below average. I felt like I could have made a better one at my own place. Not to mention, the bagels themselves were nothing to write home about. At other places, the jalapeño cheddar and asiago cheese bagels have toasted cheese on top to add to the flavor, but at Barrys the flavorings were presumably strictly mixed into the dough. We couldn't even tell which one was which. Needless to say, next time we will look elsewhere for a bagel sandwich.

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Will be back!! Sesame bagel with pastrami, swiss, spinach, tomato, onions, banana peppers, mayo, honey mustard.

An awesome bagel shop in Kettering. They were making the bagels fresh in store. The staff were super friendly and polite. They also have a nice sitting space. I got their Lox and cream cheese bagel which was really good. I would definitely go again.
