November 2024 - was in the area and remembered how tasty Bardello's was so decided to stop by again to try their lunch/dinner menu. It's been less than a year since my last visit so was sad to see they are no longer in the old Foster's restaurant. They have been very recently replaced by French Toast Heaven, another minority owned small business, and although I wanted lunch the breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend the fish & grits. Looking forward ti trying their Seafood Lovers grits but much too pricey for my lunch budget today. Was a bit overwhelmed with 12 different French Toast options but their Pick 4 FTF (french toast flight) means I can try them all if I come back with two friends....correction: WHEN I come back with two friends because I will definitely be back.

Wait time for a BLT was over an hour. Sandwich was fine but not anything special for the price ($14). Fruit side was just a few cubes of watermelon. Only 2 other tables with diners, so confused about the long wait time. Won't return.

$17 for shrimp Mac and cheese that I could have made better at home. Everything tasted store bought and there was about two tablespoons of paresly on top. I was expecting something great given the reviews I've read and the pricing, but we were sorely disappointed. Tried it once and will not be going back.
