Kind service cute calm but lively atmosphere great coffee smoothie and wine options! Will definitely be back

Line was long, couldn't see the menu from the back, lady behind the desk was rude as can be, and the coffee was not good. Highly disappointed and will not be back to this establishment.

Stopped by to get a quick caffeine fix. Cute shop with lots of options including a nice selection of wine. They have two of my favorite food groups. Service was great and speedy.

Love the location in Hyde Park square. I sit outside and watch the baby strollers and dog walkers which are plentiful.Coffee is great, as are smoothies. I wasn't as enthralled with the lemon cake (which I saw later was vegan). I will move around the menu to find something I like better. They sure all look good.There's always a line (which signifies they are popular) and the line moves fairly quickly. Unless you get behind someone who wants the entire menu explained to them like I did yesterday.Don't want coffee. They have a nice selection of wine which they will uncork for you. I plan to try that sometime...just not so early in the day! On Sundays there is a stellar farmers market here too. I'm already planning to hit that tomorrow. Life is good.

I used to come here often when they had their Montgomery location. The Hyde Park one isn't quite as convenient, but when I'm in the area I was to stop by. What makes me come back?Pistachio white mocha latte - I don't know what school in the heavens taught the baristas, but they make it right EVERY time and it is also amazing Staff - the staff has always impressed me with their friendliness and professionalism no matter which location I go/went to. I brought a friend with me recently who bought herself a drink and a drink for her daughters to share. The staff was kind enough to offer to split the drink into two different cups for the little girls. This little gesture made such an impression on them that the girls keep asking for this coffee shop over Starbucks. Also, their stickers are cute.

While visiting Hyde Park, a suburb of Cincinnati in Ohio, we went to Awakenings Coffee and Wine. The coffee was delicious... So much so that I took a bag of espresso beans back home to San Diego. Did not try any of the wine. The café is located on a wonderful block in Hyde Park with available shopping, food, and beautiful neighborhoods to walk nearby. Service wasn't as friendly as you'd expect, they weren't rude by any means, just not the typical caffeinated baristas. Would definitely go back again.

Awakenings has some of my favorite coffee in Cincinnati! The location is perfect to grab a drink before a morning walk around Hyde Park or trip to the farmers market. The employees are always kind and prompt, which is impressive given the popularity of this shop on the weekends. My husband enjoys the americanos and I've loved each item I've tried from the menu! While the shop itself could definitely be larger to accommodate the number of guests they typically serve on the weekends, the outdoor seating is a great supplement. I highly recommend Awakenings for a weekend treat, coupled with a walk around the square!

I love coming to awakenings to work or just sit with my friends. It's so calm and cozy inside, and the staff is really welcoming! The baked goods are also really tasty and I appreciate that there are usually gluten free or vegan options.

Coffee wasn't ok. Banana bread was not good. Served and wrapped in Saran Wrap not appetizing, no flavor. Glad they have vegan options!

The best coffee shop in Cincinnat! Our favorite spot to stop. The team there is awesome.
