Arrow Queen

The food is good the ice cream and service are great. They're learning a new computer system so expect a long wait. They have a new awning for about 3 tables which is a nice sun break after a bike ride.

My brother and I were returning from a road trip and he called a friend in New Carlisle and invited him and his mother out for icecream. We made my first visit ever there. Due to bidenomics the prices were higher than I am comfortable with but on par with the new norm. There was a long line when we arrived, and a steady trickle of customers while there, and several families pulled into the parking lot as we were leaving. Our friends both had sundaes.I had the Super bowl sundae. My brother had the foot long Banana Split. It looked really good and was my first choiceI just couldn't justify $7.95 for a banana split. It looked like any other run of the mill banana split but longer. My brother really enjoyed it. I enjoyed my Super Bowl Sunday. It was just shy of 5 bucks, which sadly is reasonably in today's economy. It was a bit taller than our friends sundaes. It was very well made. Very much the way I make my Banana Splits in that the banana was sliced instead of split down the middle. It had a little peanut butter, pecans, chocolate syrup, whipcream and a cherry. I really liked the addition of the peanut butter. I was the odd person in the group because I chose it because it had peanut butter. The others in the group avoided it for the same reason. I didn't take pictures because it was a hot day and I didn't want my icecream to melt. The parking jot needs to be repaved and relined. This did not determine the steady stream of customers but was enough to make a comment about it. This little icecream shop seems to be the place to go for icrecream in New Carlisle. I recommend it if you're in the area on a hot summer day in need of icecream. Not sure that I'd drive a long distance to it just for the icecream, but I do want to return to try other frozen treats. My server did a good job of explaining what the Super bowl sundae was.

Stopped in and grabbed some ice cream. The cyclone was recommended and it's fantastic.

Oh my gosh!! This ice cream was amazing! Stopped here on our way home from Indian lake and it has honestly been the best choice ever! Cheap icecream prices and it was made so quickly!

Such a great hometown joint. Great prices, fast services, delicious treats are all the reasons my family frequents Arrow Queen. They have an amazing selection of soft serve and hand scooped ice cream and an impressive list of hot dogs, sandwiches and side items. The kids get so excited when we announce we be going on a weekend afternoon or an evening after dinner. Love it!

There is NOTHING my family does not like. I love this community and the on the corner ice cream window! It feels like family! Way to go Jason

After the disappointment of finding Wot-A-Dog is closed on Mondays (& Tuesdays), we decided to make our first visit to Arrow Queen. Well-being , it won't be our last visit. Everything was delicious! First off, we tried the Footlong Cincinnati Dog with yummy coney sauce, nicely chopped onions (I value those), and cheese. We both thought this was the tastiest item we ordered. It had everything a good coney dog requires. Next up was the Footlong Arrow Dog - a hot dog topped with a pepperoni pizza. It was fun to try a different creation. It turned out to be OK, but needed something more. Maybe those delicious onions?We also tried a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion. It was good, bug with the Cincinnati dog on the menu, we probably would just stick with the dog going forward. The small twist cone was plenty of ice cream and a very fresh cone. The dog even got in on the act with a dog sundae. It had the teeniest milk bone biscuit I've ever seen. It was so adorable. There was plenty of ice cream for our old pup. To drink we had some tasty Dad's root beer. You gotta have root beer when you're inhaling a fantastic coney, but a diet option would have been nice. Overall, this was a good alternative when Wot-A -Dog is closed or anytime really. It's just nothing beats a frosty mug of root beer.

Everything on their menu is good! Call ahead your order for faster service or wait outside and talk to friends in line.

Stopped here last summer for a shake and fries with a friend. Amazing prices and great food. Will 100% be coming back!

Why has no one reviewed Arrow Queen yet?? They have been the "little ice cream shop" of New Carlisle for literally YEARS! I go here often, especially after a baseball game, for ice cream. They're always busy, because they're always good! They have a huge selection of flavors of ice cream, and a large menu. So I suppose I'll be the first one to vouch for them. :o)
