Angilo's Pizza

This place is awful. I ordered a turkey club, deli meat from walmart, shredded "cheddar" and bacon bits. There were 7 light bulbs out and we sat under a tv playing Jerry Springer. (Only booth that looks halfway clean.) Also on the menu fried food (lots!) pizza and maybe one pasta dish. Oh and 1 grilled chicken option! It was very hard to find a healthy option.

Very displeased with the pizza I received. They forgot to put the pineapple on my pizza and when asked if they put the pineapple on they said yes. There's way too much sauce and the crust tastes bad. Overall very disappointed.

Angilo's is..... just OK. I'll start off with that.They recently moved into this location from a previous one --- it IS nice. Spacious inside with plenty of seating that can easily accomodate larger groups when tables are pushed together. Cozy (if you like wooden booths and tables), quiet (not a lot of people here, either), and nice (clean and welcoming). Food? Just OK. We've had pizza here a couple times and haven't really been impressed. It's good enough to eat, but not good enough to crave, if that makes sense. $9 for a fresh medium cheese pizza isn't too terrible, though. Once we called and ordered pizza for pick-up. The woman on the phone took our order, told us it would be 5-10 minutes, and that was it. She didn't take our name or anything. It seemed kind of odd. Fortunately, when we showed up, the pizza was ready and waiting for us. Whew.I won't dismiss Angilo's as a place to eat, but it's not high on my list of places in Harrison County to grab a bite.

Nice friendly people, but the worst Italian menu and meal you can find anywhere. Food is cheap, but other than pizza you have spaghetti as your other Italian dish. I ordered s fish sandwich that was a piece of boxed fish on a bun with a side of tarter sauce. That's it! You can get a better fish sandwich at McDonalds. The fries are not salted and I like that, but couldn't find the waitress to get catchup.

Love the pizza here. Great folks run this place they really try hard to be the best everyday

UPDATED:So after a conversation with Rob M., I thought about my review and I stand by it. But Rob showed me that I needed to take the next step beyond a simple one star review. After researching the health code, I made a call to the Harrison Co. Health Dept. and filed a complaint citing the problems we encountered back in July. They may choose to ignore the complaint but it's now on the record with county officials. Thanks Rob!___________Original review:Disgusting. I took my family there recently and we were the only patrons. The place was very dirty, so we asked the person working there if we can get a booth cleaned. She stuck her hand in a bucket If dirty water, pulled out a rag and wiped the table. You could see she was previously doing something in the bathroom. She had an unknown skin condition on her arm. The whole situation was a gross-out for my family and me so we left. The food is typically just Ok, but I'm not sure I will ever return. I would rather go to Leonos up the road. The food is better and I won't have to worry about getting ill. (Plus, Leonos doesn't look like an abandoned rec center.)
