Angilo's Pizza

My husband and I had forgotten about this little gem until recently. Now we're wondering why we wasted money on the chain places before this. For about $25, we can each get a pizza of our choosing and maybe even some mozzarella sticks. Every time I go to pick up our orders, the service is always wonderful. They don't have much, if any, seating inside. That's ok for us as we prefer to pick it up and eat at home. Tonight my husband ordered a calzone with tomatoes, sausage, and mushrooms. At one point I looked over and the cheese and toppings were just oozing out of the crust. I wish I got a picture! I was about halfway through my sandwich before I snapped a picture. I ordered the small turkey hoagie and a side order of fries. The side order of fries was so much bigger than I had imagined! And they're the really good fresh, fried fries. The turkey hoagie was grilled turkey and cheese and was just so amazing. On a night when I wasn't super hungry, this was more than enough food! Especially for the price we paid. You can't do takeout for 2 people that inexpensive anymore. We'll continue to support this local business!

I remember hearing back in the day Angilo's was pretty good. I wanted something different than my usuals so I gave it a go. After taking a look at pics, I knew immediately to order light cheese (for my tastes). The wings appeared to have two flavors, buffalo (I assumed) and plain. While I enjoyed the inferno (buffalo) wings, they were wayyyy spicier than anticipated. Lol. All in all, would order again just not at the top of my list.

After hectically looking for a place to eat on the way to Factory 52 (I really need to read the website to know that you can just get it delivered next time) we stopped by a bustling Anglio's. I got the buffalo wing and fries deal of the week along with the spicy cheese bites. Service was great and the food was even better. The spicy cheese bites were the standout for me and I will continue to dream of them until the next time I am over in this area.

Great pizza and outstanding service. This was our first time trying this place, given that we moved here last fall. Exploring the pizza scene has been great, and this is a great addition to the list. It's a cute building in Norwood with a nice set of outdoor tables. Atmosphere is very homey.

On a recent cold and windy day I felt like I needed some comfort food and most places around me didn't offer a small slice of lasagna, oddly enough they did. I called it in and they had it ready to go very quickly and at a great price. I added a meatball hoping that it would be enough to make the small slice into a meal, and when I got home I... Could barely find the meatball amongst the cheese and the goopiness in the container. Don't get me wrong this was straight indulgent comfort food, it was not anywhere close to a great slice of lasagna from the best Italian restaurants, it was a slice of lasagna like Mom used to make with a half a pound of cheese in there and layers of chewy pasta. Pretty much just what I asked for, and exactly what I expected.

The food and service is always top notch. I recommend both sandwiches and the pizza's.

Haven't had Angilo's pizza since 1976 , the hoagies where still delicious , service was quick and friendly , Ambiance was bright that red and white building sticks out will be back best hoagies I the tri state hands down !!!

Tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt. Awful experiences. Pizza is below average. Employees are rude and don't care about the quality of service or the pizza. Completely don't recommend.

The pizza crust was like cardboard and the sauce was very plain. My kids wouldn't even eat it. Will not be coming back.

Not even worth one star! Normally this is a favorite spot of the family .. HOWEVER that quickly changed tonight due to a Saturday night employee/'cook' A family member faithful to your restaurant came into town to see his family , for first time in long time, for the holidays. His order was missing ingredients and he nicely called on his speaker phone to tell them the issue, in hopes of replacing . The cook actually came to phone and argued it was correct (even though it was far from right, from how we ordered) and then proceeded to cuss my family member out while whole family and kids are hearing him! The guy is home for a very short time for the holidays and was trying to treat everyone to a holiday meal and then is cussed out, belittled and talked to WAY out of line in front of family and children. Then cook proceeded to say call the manager and hung up on him!The event was truly appalling, embarrassing, unprofessional and WAY WAY out of line!! Something needs to be done!! I will not allow this to happen to family during holidays or any other time! No resolution given, no apologies.. we get cussed for YOUR mistake?? Try again! Hope management resolves this REAL QUICK..
