We stopped in to the Alley Cat Cafe for lunch yesterday and it didn't disappoint. Our waitress was friendly and the food was out very quickly. My husband and I both went for a mix and match and ordered half a panini, along with a cup of soup. I was debating between the pumpkin bisque and the brocoli cheddar, I ended up choosing pumpkin! It's a quaint little cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. I would like to go back and try their breakfast.

Small little place hidden from the street but the food is really good & the service is awesome! Today's special was turkey, Brie, peaches, spinach & honey sandwich. It was so good & the peaches were so ripe & sweet. I had it with cauliflower chowder (more like a soup though). Saw someone else eating dessert so I decided to splurge. Italian lemon cream cake was the perfect ending. Light & fluffy!!

I would expect a Cafe to have homemade fresh soup. This was a heat and serve small place. The Italian Sause vegetable was Campbells soup from a can heated up with corn beans. They also advertise Panini sandwich's, which was white bread toasted on a Grill, I ordered the Reuben, which honestly, both the corned beef and sauerkraut were ice cold right from the fridge added to the white toasted bread. NOT a Panini. This place is open for breakfast and lunch, but it does not open until 8:00am, which I feel is late for working class people.

The hidden gem on this menu is the salmon with lemon and capers. It comes with roasted crispy potatoes. I've tried many of the soups and all are delightful. This place is an incredible value and they serve breakfast and lunch. They have great catering options too!! The service is friendly and everything comes out hot and fresh.
