The reviews are correct. This is a 5 star. This is a great place to get carry out. I've been here 3 times and gotten the sandwich combo, beef schwarma, potatoes, rice, drink. Consistently fresh and tasty.

Ordered a shish taouk wrap here, some baba, a zatar bread, and a falafel wrap. It was too much food for three people. The servings are ridiculously oversized for the price. The folks here are informative and polite.It's rare to find a place that does Lebanese food right. Give these people your money.

I got the falafel wrap and sesame cookies with date stuffing. I'll give 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food. Wrap's bread was home made and grilled to perfection. The falafel and the sauces were on-point. There isn't any other place in the area that makes better falafel.The sesame cookies were so good too! They weren't too sweet and a good treat.There isn't really any seating in there so it's a pick up place. Parking: There is a paid parking lot next to the restaurant.

Definitely one of the best shawarmas in Cincinnati! I have been going to Al Madina for over a decade and it has been a staple of the Clifton community since long before then. The limited seating and made to order assembly style add to the authenticity. You can't go wrong with whatever you order and the ingredients are always fresh and vibrant. No matter what, it will always be a satisfying meal and hit the spot!

The food is incredible! We ordered a variety to-go and the quality, taste and portions were more than we imagined. Chicken shawarma, tabbouleh, grape leaves, red cabbage and baba gannouji with fresh pita.

If you've been to UC, you know this gem of a place. Al-madeena hits the spot. Fair warning: this is essentially a takeout establishment. There are seats to have your food, but it's not a dining experience in any way. I came in with friends and got the Falafel sandwich. My friends got Chicken shawarma. Being essentially fast food, the wrap was ready immediately. None of us were shy and got it spicy. And oh my God - so good! They didn't skimp on the falafels or tahini. It was a good wrap. My friend asked for garlic sauce and they just gave us some. For $8, this was a good meal! For drinks, they do have most soda and juice options up for purchase. I also spotted packaged cookies and baklavas in case anyone wanted to buy them. Parking is limited to on street parking and I've never not found parking there. The folks working there are cordial and nice. No problems ever with service.

One of the best, if not THE best, restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is unbelievably delicious; you can't go wrong ordering anything on their menu. My personal favorites are the chicken shwarma sandwich and the vegetarian platter. The baba ganoush is out of this world as well.My only recommendation would be, if you go at the end of the day and notice the meat is at the bottom of the pan, order a vegetarian dish because sometimes the meat gets dried out. But the vegetarian dishes are excellent so it's a win either way!

The best chicken sandwich in Cincinnati and perhaps the world is at this unassuming restaurant-chicken shawarma with everything on it (including spicy sauce). This sandwich comes in beautiful, freshly- made pita bread with perfectly- seasoned chicken, and ample lettuce, tomato, and onion. It is both delicious enough that I want to finish the whole thing and big enough that I can't. I'm sure the rest of the menu is great too- I just can't get past how good this sandwich is! I also love that there is a cooler full of interesting zero proof drinks in the back, so you can get something besides the usual soft drink to enjoy with the best sandwich eva. Service is efficient and friendly and you can take out or eat at the counter in the back.

The prices have gone up significantly for example shish tawook platter has gone up to $22 from $11.99. For this price you can get much nicer kebabs at sit down restaurants. I would recommend Artemis in Montgomery or Cafe Mediterranean in Hyde Park for much nicer ambience, better quality food and same prices.
