Adena's Beefstroll

Always try to catch Adena's truck when they're in the neighborhood. Tasty Italian beef and great customer service!

Only place around the city to get an authentic Italian beef. As good or better than any you'll find even in Chicago.

Unbelievably yummy! The seasoning of the sausage and crunch of the egg roll in the "stroll" was impeccable! Definitely deserves the "Best of Taste" award it received!

Adena's food is pretty good Chicago grub, and I really wanted an Italian beef. Unfortunately I was not happy to see that no worker was wearing a facial covering as required by Ohio regulations at this time. I know it's inconvenient but there's a basic disrespect for customers shown there. For that reason I won't be back.

Got the Italian beef sandwich at taste of Cincinnati. The bread was either not fresh or just not particularly good. (I had read a Cincy Enquirer review lauding Adena's beefstroll bread but it actually reminded me of bread from a supermarket bakery.) Also, bread did not hold up to sandwich ingredients and the bun was sopping wet at the bottom. We opted for mozzarella on top of the sandwich, but it was that thick-shredded industrial cheese with no flavor. Also, the cheese was a still a little cold like they just pulled it from the fridge and plopped cold cheese on hot beef and ruined the temperature of both. So it was not melted as you might expect from a hot sandwich. The fries def tasted frozen. We both ended up tossing most of the meal. $17 in the garbage

This is probably my favorite place to get real tasting Chicago food. I've tried other "Chicago" food truck wannabes, but this is the real deal.
