Abner's Restaurant

Nice, friendly guy making a difference with good, fresh food in a changing neighborhood. We just had sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast biscuits to go but they were very good. The menus shown on Google and Yelp don't appear to be an accurate listing of the dishes nor the prices. The restaurant is clean and is in the process of remodeling. I would return!

I paid $15 for two eggs, hasbrown patties, bacon, roast, and a can of pop. Food was awful. There was an actual pool of grease under my name eggs. Next time I'll go to Bob Evans or Cracker barrel. At least their food is worth the price you pay.

Good old hometown cooking is exactly what ya get. The good ol boys are watching out for ya after they get their kicks. Bathroom was locked and they were watching me try to enter then they got the key to let me in. The coffee was pretty good and the waitress was definitely kept busy and a majority of the people were locals. Well done home fries is a favorite of hubby and these did not disappoint.Another post said it was the ghetto but I can tell you that country music playing and individuals being as nice as everyone was would not deter me from going back here.

This place deserves some type of award! Place has unbeatable prices and options. The only place I've been to in this city where I get the "hometown" feel, there is always locals having funny conversations with the kitchen staff! 6$ for this plate of food!

First time at Abner's. I ordered breakfast of two eggs over easy, home fries, fried thick Bologna and biscuit. Nice coffee. There is about ten regulars holding court. This a friendly neighbor place.On the chalkboard behind the counter, they offer homemade soup.My order was served, food was cooked to as ordered. It was a decent, tasty. I was pleased. We will come back again, soon.

We got this to go through GrubHub. The chicken fingers and burger were very good. The ribeye sandwich and ribeye were like shoe leather. I couldn't even finish the ribeye. They were out of shrimp. They were also missing many items in our order. So, their attention to detail is lacking. I am not impressed.

Located in one of the scariest areas in East Dayton, this little place resides in between the liquor store and an appliance place. The big board has a selection of breakfast platters that will blow your mind. The service is incredible, always timely and prompt. Wonderful place to people watch, or just sit and play scratch-offs with a friend. Also, one of the best burgers I've had in Dayton.

I stopped by on my home from work and got the daily special, stuffed peppers. They were great! Price was good too. I will be returning.

This is a good value. Great food. Standard American diner fair. Good, hot coffee. I had a simple breakfast, it was very well done. The people working there were very nice. There are a lot of regulars here, and that is always a good sign. I see that they get their pies locally. Looking forward to coming back here again.

Good food and good service! Definitely a place to check about if you are looking for true diner food!
