Abby Girl Sweets Cupcakery

This is my go-to place for cupcakes, and this is HUGE coming from a sweet tooth. I've been a couple times to the Downtown one, but last weekend, I just grabbed one from here because I was in the area. I love carrot cake, and their carrot cake cupcake does justice (in my head). The cake is soft, the icing is perfect, and it's not toooo sweet. The amount of spice in it is right (as per my preferences). I wish they used walnuts instead of the lone Pecan, but it's not a deal-breaker for me. I've tried their coconut and red velvet previously as well, and they are good too. It's hard to be disappointed with their cupcakes.

Wait...I haven't reviewed my favorite Cincinnati cupcake place?!?!? Cupcakes are hands down one of the best in the city. ALWAYS consistent and moist. ALWAYS fresh and you can taste the REAL ingredients. My favorite one is the strawberry delight. Yea...I usually even get the leftovers pieces off the paper when no one is watching me.

The air in the shop smells so tantalizing and sweet! I knew I wanted a cupcake with filling, and the baker made a suggestion that did not disappoint! The tuxedo chocolate cupcakes with vanilla bean filling was delicious! Cost was $3.50 for 1 cupcake. The cake portion of the cupcake was not simply a carrier for the topping. The cake was so spongy and homemade. I'm incredibly picky when it comes to chocolate cake- this cake was top notch!

The best place for all your cupped cake needs!Every half and whole birthday for my son brings me here. You MAY not like every flavor. However, ask yourself: do you really expect to like every flavor if you have tried literally every flavor?Best of all: they won't ask how many people will be eating the cupcakes.They even give you a special box so the cupped cakes stay upright on the way home! In your car! The cupcakes are probably soo good, they could drive better than the average Ohioan?

Was given a 4 pack of cupcakes as a gift. They were very good. Carrot cake and cookies n cream were very good. My wife liked the chocolate ones.

I got 2 cupcakes and a mini key lime cheesecake. I ate the black raspberry chip cupcake.....DELICIOUS! Just the right amount of sweetness, black raspberry flavor, and chips. I also got a triple chocolate cupcake.....ALL were fabulous. In case you get confused, it's inside Jungle Jim's in Eastgate.

I've gone to this place a few times since it's close to work, and it has never disappointed. It's not so easy to make a standout cupcake, but this place does. The building entrance is in a strip mall, so it might be easy to miss, and the inside is just a counter to order and go. The workers are always super pleasant and helpful when making the difficult decision of what to get. I got the peanut butter cup and the sugar baby. I've gotten both before and they're so good I had to go back. The peanut butter cup has the perfect balance of peanut utter frosting to chocolate cake, and the cakes are always baked to perfection. Plus it has a mini Reese's pb cup that somehow disappeared before I managed to take a picture . The sugar cookie one has a small cookie on top, and is really a pretty basic vanilla cupcake with buttercream, but it's soooo good. I need to go back and try all the other flavors!
