There was nearly no one there but the server was awesome. Now the food. OMG it was the best Indian food I ever had! I can't say all the dishes would be this fantastic but the chicken tikki Marsala was the best I ever had. Also the saag paneer was perfect. Hit and spicy Nan was also great and my wife loved her 9 vegetable dish. We will be back!!!

We order take out from this place pretty often. Their spice level goes to 6 so I think we need to kick it up a notch next time we order. The rice has a great texture, and their tikka masala hits the spot every single time. The order is ready in under 20 minutes and they accept Apple PaySo it's a win in my book! My only suggestion- make your nan a little bigger!

Not recommended We ordered food worth 150$ it had absolutely no taste. Mutton biryani had no mutton pieces it was full of tiny bones and peas. Tandoori chicken an absolute disaster. Full of artificial color and no taste. Daal was ok in fact good. Baigan Bharata had too much cream in it. Naans were so hard. Butter chicken was an epic fail too no taste in chicken pieces.. The gravy was awful. Not coming back until and unless they do something about the taste and quality.

This little gem is hidden behind the Perkins restaurant at the Kings Island exit. A1 is our favorite go-to for Indian these days. Never had a bad dish here. My fave is the Paneer Chili with Bharati. Here is a little food porn for your eyes! Don't be put off by the lack of cars in the parking lot. It IS delicious. This place is owned by one of the brothers or uncle of the place in Loveland. :).

We had a fantastic dinner here about a month ago. Very warm and welcoming staff. Our order was taken by an elderly woman whom gave off a warm grandma feeling. The food was fantastic. We had the Mango Curry with panner nan and Lamb Rogan Josh with garlic nan. Both dishes had the perfect spice level to our liking. This is our new local go to spot for Indian food from now on.

A1 Indian opened recently, and is another solid Indian option in the Mason area. At 5 minutes from my home, it's the closest and most convenient Indian option for me, and I'll be using it regularly.A1 is in a location that was previously a large sports bar, with outdoor seating. Currently, the space does not utilize the large bar area, and some of the indoor space as well as the outdoor space is not utilized. I'm not sure if that will be opened up in the future as the restaurant gets busier. The currently used space is open, with maybe 20 tables. It's tastefully decorated. There's plenty of parking available in the attached parking lot.I called in my order ahead of time for pickup, and the food was ready promptly. I was greeted when I walked in, and the staff was friendly. While I waited, I saw them checking in on the 2 groups that were dining in pretty frequently. It looks to be a small family run operationA1 is a Punjabi restaurant, and that is definitely their strength. The naan's we ordered with large, generous size for the price and definitely made in house. We also had the goat saag, which rivals the saag my mother in law makes. The karahi ginger chicken was not quite the karahi I expected, it was more of a curry than a tomato heavy karahi but still a very good dish. The only entree we tried that left me a little disappointed was the chicken biryani. Generous portion, but did not have the biryani flavor I expected. Also it had peas in it, which is odd for biryani to me. This is also on me, as biryani is not a Punjabi specialty. Nevertheless, I will be returning to try other dishes on the menu!

Love their food! We love Indian restaurants and this is one of the best. I had the nav rattan korma w a #4 spice level and a spicy nan. It was perfect! My wife had the chicken biryani w the yogurt sauce and she loved it too. Go. Try their food. So many places like this struggle competing against chains. Please support this place. It's good and I'd love to see it stay.

I have no clue how this place has such high ratings. Matar paneer came with only 7 pieces of paneer. The paneer was tasty but the matar curry just tasted like spicy tomato sauce, no complex flavors that I love about Indian cuisine. A Saturday at 1pm, we were the only people in the restaurant- that should have been a sign. The women's bathroom had one small light on. The server sat on his phone the whole time. The only thing that was satisfying was the garlic naan.

This place is AWESOME! Best Tikka Masala I've ever had and the Bhatura was delicious and HUGE. There are a lot of options for vegetarians and people with gluten allergies- which was awesome for my mom! The restaurant is so clean and service is wonderful. There is also a big parking lot which is convenient. I also enjoyed the music a lot - made the experience fun! I'll definitely be visiting again!
