It's obviously a popular restaurant as it was packed, but not my kind of place. I didn't choose it, and went along with the choice. The menu didn't inspire me. I decided to order the hal order of the Hot Brown. It wasn't very good, but I powered through it. The burger, ordered by the person who chose the place, looked excellent. If I'm dragged there again, I'll order it. Not a restaurant I'd choose to go to. JMO122

We tried AP Suggins for the first time. The chili was very good. Tthe burger was okay. The burger patty is very thick, thicker than I prefer. The blue cheese was very mild in flavor. My wife had the rib special which was huge. She didn't care for the cheese grits, but I liked them. She liked the flavor of thr rubs and the corn.

Great neighborhood restaurant! We actually live less than a mile from the one in Hamburg. We have gone to Suggins for many, many years. Nostalgia comes back immediately. Even the same waitress' are there! Love so many different dishes I couldn't name them all. They've seen me literally raise 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. They ALL loved going there! It's a fun part of their lives!

Looking for some place comfortable with a neighborhood feel, this is the place. Nestled in between homes and a few businesses. The atmosphere is great, nice size bar area on one side with tall tables to eat from. Other side is set up with tables and booths. Food was so good actually eat there twice. Had the Suggins special which was a 10oz new York strip, baked potato and steamed broccoli. My wife had the opened face roast beef with fried okra. So much flavor in both dishes. Real fresh mashed potatoes. They also have chicken and fish along with Specials for the day. Price is very reasonable. The wait to eat was not long either. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed
