This place is incredible! The meats are soooo good and fresh eggs and milk..... the prices on some things are a little higher than large chains but the freshness and flavor are worth it... 5 stars all the way

My family buys all our spices and dried bulk food here. Never had a complaint with quality of products purchased here. We are starting to buy our eggs and bag snacks from here. Most of their food products are natural and organic, as the family operating this shop are related to Church of the Brethren. Besides, the bulk dry foods, they offer fresh eggs, whole milk, some cheeses. We shop here about once week.

I was out and about today and decided to drive over to Clayton and visit A Bushel and a Peck. Located just north of Route 40, It is a nicely stocked bulk food store that also carries fresh eggs. I buy flax seed at places like this; my small bag cost under a dollar!. If you are in need of spices, extracts, snacks, candy, flour, etc...try this place. FYI....it is closed Sunday and Monday.

I shop there at least once a week or so. I get all my eggs there. They cost a little more than the grocery but are much fresher than the grocery. I have been getting flour there because there is so many recalls on flour that the groceries use. If you are a baker or make a lot of your foods they have all kind of necessary ingredients. The owner is nice to help you out if you don't know what a spice or ingredient you need is used for and other tips. Their supplies move and they are not setting around like the groceries for a long time. I have shopped there for years and I would recommend them to anyone who does a lot of their own cooking and baking for ingredients.

This place is amazing! Totally worth the drive up to Clayton. I love to come here and stock up on flour, oats, spices, dried fruit - stuff that costs a fortune at Kroger. Prices are super reasonable and everything is good quality - lots of organic and non-GMO items available.
