As a pizza connoisseur, we had to give this place a try since we were nearby. Definitely not disappointed. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered breadsticks with marinara and cheese dipping sauce. They charge an extra $.75 for your second sauce, but for as many breadsticks you get for $5, this is definitely a great value. The breadsticks were freshly made and I would rate them as a top 3 of best breadsticks I have ever had. We also ordered a Greek salad and it was large enough for my wife and I to share. I let her keep the kalamata olives as I'm not a fan of olives. The Carne pizza was very good. We didn't want the ground beef topping and substituted it with mushrooms. Crust was crisp and tomato sauce had a hint of sweetness to it. It isn't as sweet as La'Rosas has on their pizza. This place also offers Italian subs and several Italian pasta dishes along with a variety of wines and beer. The only thing I wish they had was fresh brewed ice tea with free refills. They only offer bottled tea.Overall if I was in this area again and craving pizza or Italian food, this would be my go-to place.

A great pizza spot! The restaurant was cute, the staff were helpful, and the pizza was delicious. We got two 6 inch pizzas to go, about 3-4 toppings on each and the total came out to around $16. There's parking at the restaurant which is fantastic. The only downside was the wait time, it took quite awhile for our pizzas to come out but overall not too bad. Definitely a step up from chain pizza places! If you're not on a time crunch I would recommend stopping in!

Rare experience with a top 10 pizza joint. I'm sure they serve other fine Italian dishes, but this pizza was one of the best craft pies I've had the pleasure of eating. If the service was a bit more prompt, this would be 5 stars all day!

Location: 414 W Water Street Piqua, OhioParking: plenty of parking available in the adjacent lot or in the streetWebsite: www.3joes.comMenu: see websiteHours: see websiteReservations: yes! See websiteService: excellent, friendly servicePrice: Very reasonable for quality and portion size; plan on $20-$25 per person; but you can skip starter or go for lunch to trim the budget a bit.Where do I begin.A quick visit to the Miami County Fair and we wanted something more substantial vs deep-fried for dinner so we drove north and found ourselves at 3 Joe's Pizzeria & Trattoria. This was my first visit and will not be my last. Not by a long shot.We took advantage of call-ahead seating and only had a short wait when we arrived.Normally, this is a good sign for a quality restaurant and you don't mind the wait once you get your food.In this case, you don't mind the wait the second you walk in and catch the aroma of this fantastic restaurant's food in the air.It was extremely difficult to narrow down selections - even after deciding on pasta, I had to pick from 6 or so contenders from the list of 12 or so options. The really interesting part of the pricing is you can order a single portion (honestly plenty for 2 though) or a "family style" bowl which serves 4-6.We were a table of 4 very hungry adults and we all selected the Caesar salad (perfect) and each chose a different entree. We each shared a forkful from the 3 pasta dishes and a slice of the square-cut pizza.Every single thing was absolutely impeccable. The pasta is perfection.High quality, I suspect imported Italian pasta, and cooked absolutely perfectly and the sauces are worthy of the pasta.I chose the cacio de pepe and added chicken.A classic spaghetti with butter, Parmesan cheese, and cracked black pepper.Divine.I was absolutely ravenous and even after devouring my salad and the lovely garlic bread - I was still able to eat about half the portion; the rest is taunting me from the take-out container in the refrigerator.I had a forkful of the Pasta Beppo (grilled chicken with mushrooms in a roasted red pepper cream sauce) and a forkful of the Chicken Basilico (penne pasta, chicken, basil pine nut pesto cream sauce) and a slice of the "Grande" pizza (pepperoni, mushroom, onion, green pepper, ripe olive, sausage, and double portion of provolone cheese). These were all delicious and simply confirms I am going to need to return often to try the entire menu.At the top of my list is the Chicago Style Pan Pizza (allow extra time) and anything with their meat sauce (red sauce). It could be the cheese ravioli, spaghetti, or rigatoni. It just needs to be very, very soon.I am also eying their primi courses of ravioli di beppo (6 cheese-filled ravioli tossed in their roasted red pepper cream sauce) and/or the meat balls as potentially the best starter courses I have ever seen on any menu anywhere.I am plotting a return so I can try something with their red sauce.Tips:1. Make a reservation. This is a great restaurant and has quite a following. You can call or make the reservation on their website.2. Plan on being hungry. Pastas come with garlic bread and you can add a salad for $4-$5.3. Don't sleep on their pizza. Consider ordering this "to go" instead of the typical chain variety. This is the best.4. If you have a physical reaction against ordering pasta out because you can make it at home - get over it. This is tremendously good pasta and sauces. Consider ordering "La Familglia" for the best pricing (4-6 serving portion for the price of about 3 servings)

Wow! I am impressed with the food and service.Being Mother's Day, I called and was able to make last-minute reservations. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The pasta and pizza were quickly and freshly prepared. The salads were perfectly sized and served time, so there was time before the main course. The staff worked a one for quick and friendly service. We all left stuffed and with leftovers.I would highly recommend this place, and when I am back in town again, I will return.

The appetizers we ordered were ravioli and breadsticks. Delicious sauce on the ravioli and the breadsticks were perfect with side cups each of cheese and marinara. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. Very yummy. The atmosphere is great and service is very fast and friendly. Looking forward to returning in the future.

We went with a group of 20 senior citizens in the middle of a lunch rush. The server did an excellent job with handling us as well as her other tables. My husband had their Spaghetti and meat sauce. There was a lot of meat in the sauce. I had salad, French onion soup and home made bread sticks which were delicious. We all live in Fairborn and made the trip through our senior center. My husband and I would go back to try more items.

Great little lunch spot in Piqua. This came highly recommended when we were in town for work as the local spot to check out!The service was quick and the food was really good! I recommend getting the pizza lunch special. This comes with a personal pizza (up to two toppings can be added) and a garden salad. The salad was simple and yummy! The pizza was also good. Definitely filling for a personal size. I opted for sausage and mushrooms but I'd probably try the pepperoni next time. The lunch special runs about 12 dollars I believe?! Very good price!
