1572 Roadhouse Bar-B-Q

I got the 5 meat dinner. Too much for me to eat. The ribs were excellent. Fell off the bones. The brisket wasn't smoked well. Cooked rare which I thought was odd, but it was still goodThe coleslaw and mashed sweet potatoes Rocked.It's tucked away about 3-4 miles out of town back by the Renaissance Festival grounds. Worth the effort to find it.

food was all dry terrible. I think we got two day old ribs. They had no turkey got pulled pork instead very dry and crusty same as ribs. Sorry but this was terrible for 40 dollars

The seating is open air, and is located directly on the grounds of the festival. While you cannot walk around the grounds when the festival is not active, it can give you a sneak peek of what the grounds look like if you have never been there.Don't be shy if there is a line, it moves rather quickly, self serve salsas assure that you will always have enough of the flavor you want. Where are your stretchy pants, and expect to bring food home. Don't forget to take a selfie with the pirate wench at the bar!

Dude... YUM. We got the sampler and it was fire. Turkey is delicious, pulled pork is fantastic, ribs were the best and the sausage was tremendous. Big fan. Will be back.

Came to 1572 Roadhouse with high expectations but left feeling very disappointed. We went yesterday (Sunday) at 6pm. The atmosphere and dining area were great but the food was very lacking. My wife and I were recommended to order the Pit Girls Deluxe since we couldn't decide on what meats to get. It came with 2 sides and we added another. Turkey Breast: extremely dry, seemed to be days old Chicken Wings: very dry, shriveled up, like they were oldRibs: extremely dry, black, burnt, tough Hot Link: don't know how this was possible but dry Pulled Pork: dry and very stringy, and had huge random chunks in it. Like it wasn't cooked long enough Tri Tip: wasn't as dry as the rest but was kind of tough The sides were good: Mac and cheese, green and baked beansI would have brought the food back up but since we tried the all of the meats what else could we have gotten to replace it. The staff was very friendly though Also we had our family with us and they ordered the same thing and theirs was the same. Dry, dry and dry. I don't know if this was product reheated from the day before or the holding system for the meats just isn't efficient.

This should be a 5 but was brought down du to an information problem. We love the barbecue here and come most thursdays for bike night and definitely regularly for barbecue. We went out tonight after checking the web site and noting 1572 opened at 4 until 9. Yelp showed it open too. We got there after a 30 minute drive to find it was closed, no note, no sign indicating what was going on. the least ownership can do is update the web site so that patrons can understand what the plan is.

I came here for dinner with my family. We had tickets to see 7 Bridges perform on a Saturday night and decided to eat before hand. I was visiting from out of town so I don't know what a typical night is like. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was quite good. Doesn't come with sauce on the pork, but they do have a few options for you to put in condiment cups. I'm typically not a pork person, but it was very tasty. It could've been warmer. You get your choice of sides, I chose the white macaroni and cheese and cornbread. My dad ordered the sausage dog, but he was unimpressed and wished he had ordered the pulled pork. I enjoyed them both. Before the show, we ordered some beverages. They were out of the beer choice I wanted and the only wine they carried came in a can. One can is the size of a soda can and could be drank by two people. A can of wine was $10. Red wine was also refrigerated, which typically is not the norm. The majority of the crowd was over 21. There were several Harley motorcycles if that's your thing. The best way I can describe it is essentially it is an outdoor cowboy bar. When my dad told me we were going to an Eagles cover band, that wasn't exactly what I expected the venue to be.

Decent bar-b-q and quick friendly service. Ordered the Smoked turkey with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. All food was served hot and really fast
