"The inside of the restaurant was cute, its nice and new inside. I tried an oreo crepe and a dubai chocolate bar. Both were delicious! The crepe came out hot and fresh as well. It was very heavy on the nutella which is not a bad thing for me, but some would find it overkill.The only reason I couldnt give 5 stars is for how expensive the prices are. Its a nice treat, but with the portions sizes and prices, I could only see myself coming here on a special occasion."

"Hemingway was a complicated man. Raised by an overbearing mother, pushed to question his masculinity . . . the man drowned his sorrow in alcohol. But man, he would have been an interesting dinner companion and would have been an interesting drinking buddy.Pilar's menu offers riffs on Hemingway novels and the Hemingway daiquiri. I had the classic Hemingway, which was a little sweeter than what I'm used to, but still very good. Mad with rum, luxardo, lime, grapefruit. I also had the Green Hills of Africa, made with reposado, dolin genepy le chamois, pineapple poblano cordial, lime, and tajin. Lighter and more refreshing than the original daiquiri.I loved how the menu explained how each drink related to a Hemingway story, and I wish I had paid more attention to this while there. Makes me want to go back again. And would definitely be fun to choose your drink according to the literature description rather than the flavor description.For example, I would definitely try the porter, which is described as, "centering on a conversation between a hotel porter and a guest, Hemingway encapsulates themes of loneliness and the longing for understanding in a world marked by social divides."There is a whole section for different daiquiris and pretty much all rum and gin based drinks with a vodka cocktail or two. They also have beers, seltzers, wines, and a mocktail called "Hemingway's last choice."Super reasonable prices.I wish I had gotten more photos of this colorful bar with the large open windows, inviting patio, and tropical wallpaper, but I was with a guest and try not to spend too much time on my phone.Staff is attentive. Wasn't too crowded when we went, but it was a Monday afternoon. I can see this place getting crazy on weekends on game days. But very nicely decorated and beautiful dark wooden bar.I don't visit Cincinnati often, but if I come back, this place is definitely on my list. So much more to explore here and a lot more fun to be had."

They have delicious lunch specials that are very reasonably priced. The portions are large and very fresh tasting. My lunch special had a steak burrito covered with cheese sauce, and if came with beans, and rice. The chips and salsa are crispy and salsa was delicious. I'll have to come back to try the rest of the menu, maybe even some drinks."

"Omg, new favorite lunch spot for sure. I've been wanting to try this place for over 2 years but the days/hours of operation always didn't seem to be right when I was thinking about it. But today I got there and holy crap I have been missing out. I ordered the Veggie Pepperoni sandwich and the watermelon salad. They were both sooooo good. The smoked vegan pepperoni is so flavorful, the bread so soft and the red pepper cashew cheese so smooth and creamy. The watermelon salad was so fresh and crisp with an amazing flavorful dressing. And to top it all off when I went inside to pickup I was greeted with amazing smiling faces and great customer service! That's not something you see too many places anymore. Awesome place! Can't wait to try more!"

"Just on the outskirts of town was this cute place tucked in the woods. Atmosphere was inviting and there was a great vibe. They also had live music. We sat at a bar table and we were greeted promptly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were good and they had quite a few specialty drinks to choose from. I had a Pomegranate Martini (It was ok but I wouldn't get it again) and my husband had a Harvest Margarita. It was yummy and would make a good fall fire-pit drink. We did wait a bit for food but there was a pretty good crowd. Our appetizer was served at the same time as our meal. Wish it would have came out a bit earlier so we could have enjoyed it with our drinks. We inquired about the special sandwich/burger on the menu but our server stated that they didn't have a special this week. We ordered the Tater Kegs, Caprese Chicken Sandwich, and The Sasquatch. Tater Kegs were delicious! My Caprese Chicken sandwich was good. My hubby enjoyed The Sasquatch sandwich. It was huge! He had to eat it with a fork and knife! Food was good, vibe was pleasant, and staff was friendly. They have only been open about 14 weeks per our server so hoping for a few specials and an expanded menu on our next visit. We will definitely be back!"

"Went here for Cincy Taco Week with my son. Our server brought our drinks along with chips & salsa. The chips & salsa were very good. We ordered Carne Asada tacos & Carnitas tacos. Both were delicious but we agreed the Carnitas taco was slightly better. I ordered a side of shredded cheese for $1.29 because I like cheese on my tacos. The service was great. They have Happy Hour from 2:00-5:00 pm where you can get Taco Asada or Pastor for $1.99 or a small margarita for $2.99 - what a deal! We'll definitely be back."

"The Pilot Inn! I finally found you! Last night after a Yelp elite event a bunch of us wondered over here. From the outside the Pilot Inn doesn't look like much, but this is a great neighborhood tavern. The bartender was very friendly and who knew they have been open since 1937?! They have a great happy hour from 3-7pm daily and they also serve food, but only during the day. I think she said they are our a night cook for right now. They have an insane amount of candy bars on the wall, and there is a nice choice of chips and popcorn as well. The drinks are cheap, and the people are friendly this is a great stop on a neighborhood dive crawl."

"Chris our bartender was welcoming and friendly. He welcomed us and asked for our names. He made drink suggestions and shared about the area. We didn't try the food but we saw plenty of it coming out of the kitchen. AND the view is spectacular. If I lived in town I would be a regular. I highly recommend it."

"There is ample free parking in the lot on York St with 2 entrances. There are separate ordering stations for the brewery and BBQ. The combined area has open seating with high tops, the bar, tables, and sofas. You can order drinks at the bar, and for food, you order at the counter and receive a buzzer. I headed to Beards & Bellies and ordered the 3-meat platter with sausage, brisket, and ribs, Mac & cheese, and cornbread. All potters are served with fresh onion slivers and house made pickles. I'm not a pickle person, but their house pickles were delicious! They were thin but still crunchy, flavorful, and not wet. Everything that I ordered was pretty good! The Mac and ribs were my least favorite. The mac wasn't baked, but taste wise, it was okay. Small serving size. Ribs weren't super tender, but were flavorful, smoky, and crisp edges."

"My brother heard of this little place and was dying to try a cake so he got one for my birthday. It was good but I wouldn't say the best cake I've ever had. Now that he and my parents both live pretty close to this locale, he got cupcakes for another birthday. These were really good! So many different flavors and a great variety. Best yet, they were incredibly reasonable priced. I can't tell you how much fun we had with them and everyone wanting to try them all. "In a word: delicious. The folks who run this restaurant are so nice. I called on a Friday midday hoping to get a table for nine...yes nine!....the next day on Saturday. They did some checking and called me back with a 7pm reservation. Wow.Our group was seated in one of the back rooms. Very quiet and very nice. Our waiters were very attentive and informative. The primary waiter pointed out specials, new items on the menu, etc. very helpful.The food was delicious. OK....the rye bread is special. It's tough not to eat so much of it and ruin your meal. I got the ribeye with scallops special. Melt in your mouth tender. Everyone at the table got a steak...filets, ribeyes, etc. All cooked to perfection.The waitstaff was attentive but not hovering. They all seemed to anticipate a need and then fill it. Great job!!!PS. Go ahead....try their house Manhattan. It's good!"

"Some places reach a level of perfection in their food and service unmatched by others. These places usually stay hidden, preserved for a special crowd to enjoy them in secret. Once in a while though, those places are smack in the middle of the city, not far from some of the major attractions, and all you have to do is enter their doors and sit down to enjoy some of the best food you'll ever have in a region. Such is the case with Agave & Rye in Covington. Our discovery of Agave & Rye was incredibly fortuitous. I had just landed from South Florida, here to celebrate my niece and nephew's birthday. Half of my family was set to arrive in a hour and a half and we needed something to eat. It was late at night, we looked for a highly recommended spot for food, and lo and behold, Yelp always comes in clutch! But when we arrived at the location suggested they had just closed their kitchen and were solely focused on drinks. Hungry and disappointed, we ventured the streets of Covington once more. And as we were passing by Agave & Rye we couldn't help but notice people still sitting outside enjoying their meals.Luckily for us, there was a waitress passing by at the moment who told us we'd just arrived in time. Her name was Taylor. When it comes to customer service, Taylor's is unmatched. Not only was she in charge of serving the customers in the outside sitting area, but also training a new employee. We asked her for recommendations, and she guided us brilliantly. And so, under her guidance, we proceeded to order. One of the orders was for an Epic Taco - The Bomb taco. I decided for the Grilled Birria Burrito. And Oh My God! What a great decision that was! The burrito was perfect. There was flavor and deliciousness in every bite. Next time I promise to try one of the Epic Tacos. And how can you not. Besides the aforementioned one, you also have on the menu, the Jedi Taco, the Alderman taco, the Bang Bang, the Rooster, the Green Goddess, and the Love Shack 2.In conclusion, we truly ran into a gem. I can't wait to go back and continue enjoying the wonderful food and the great service at Agave & Rye."

Lots of people buy the drink, the price goes up. A certain beer isn't selling so much, the price goes down. Prices are listed on an electronic board that updates every 5 minutes. The prices max out at $9 and can be found as low as $3.50.QCE makes for a fun stop on a pub crawl, but I can't say I've ever stayed for longer than a couple beers."

"See the thing is I don't care for Bowling that much but I do love volleyball. They two indoor sand courts and 3 outdoor courts. The level of play is pretty good for most of the events but they do have levels for beginners to think they are pro level. :) And their lottery play has always been a lot of fun.. So if you don't care for bowling but like Volleyball. There is hope here to play some decent ball! Only thing that keeps this from a 5 star is the smoking. It is really smells bad inside from the smoke."

"Funny name for a liquor store, but that's what it is. This one is located at the end of a strip center behind an Applebee's restaurant. It's fairly large, clean, bright, well stocked. It's not on my usual path, so I've only been there once, but seems like a good place to pick up a bottle of wine or whatever you need to prepare your favorite drink. Plenty of parking and has decent prices and prompt service."

"The Fairfield Inn and Suites was a very good hotel stay for me. They are located on the shores of the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky with a great view of the Cincinnati. We arrived after a long drive from Missouri. During the drive, I chatted with the property and asked for an upgrade to a riverview room overlooking Cincinnati. They upgraded me immediately as requested. When I arrived, the two front desk clerks were kind of awkward as both of them were looking down at their cellphones as we arrived. A few awkward seconds later, they acknowledged us and checked us in to our upgraded room. Our room was great! They gave us a nice room with a great view of the river. The room had the king bed that we reserved. It was a very good room for the few hours we would be in there sleeping. Surprisingly, they knew it was my birthday and gave me a very nice card. The gym and breakfast area was on the second floor. The gym had ellipticals, treadmills, and dumb bells. It was enough for me to get a good workout. Sanitizing wipes were also availalbe. The breakfast area was busy both during breakfast and during the night as they had a couple of busloads of people staying there as part of a tour. We were forewarned by the front desk to avoid the breakfast area at a certain time, but, I decided to show up anyways since I needed breakfast. It was a great experience intermingling with tour group. They had just visited the nearby creation museum and were headed to the Noah's Ark exhibit. I asked if I could sneak on the bus. They told me I could try, but, told me that I didn't have an afro and that I didn't have as much melanin as they did. The Fairfield was a great hotel for us. They upgraded us to a better room. It had everything that we wanted."

"Every visit I've made here has been great. It's such a cute space with nice patio for better weather days. They have excellent happy hour options. Food wise, I've tried several things on the menu and always delicious. Servers are friendly and make great recommendations if you don't know what you want. Definitely recommend this for a nice meal out."

Physical spaces for the anime/Japanese culture fan community are sparse in the US, especially the Midwest, so I cherish every one we get. "I loved this little coffee shop! It's located in the new apartment buildings but it is not affiliated. They have cute patio area, unfortunately I didn't grab a photo of. They seem to be very dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed inside but they have walk up window on the patio to order with an entire section for pups! The coffee I had was great! I also ordered a croissant but I forgot to snap a photo. The barista was awesome and helped me customize my drink and it turned out perfect. I golf near here so I'm excited to make this a new routine stop for me!"
