Great food, awesome white sangria. Definitely going back. Friendly service, great atmosphere.

The food was excellent , the portions are huge They have a "Carne Apache appetizer as a courtesy it was really good , salsa and chips The drinks are so yummy and fresh they even have cafe de olla ,The service was excellent our server was the best always very attentive and refilling our waters at all time even the manager Alberto came out to check if we have some questions very professional and accommodating .,The place is renovated looks new and clean We try the carnitas and the ribeye both were amazing and taste traditional you won't be disappointed.

I really wanted to give more stars but I can't justify it.The food is good, not great. We came for my mother's in laws birthday. We were a bigger party (10) but we came early in the evening and it was not particularly busy. My mother in law got her food last, like everyone was almost done after trying to wait for her last. They told her they would credit her meal, and then showed up with the check with 25% off her meal. Staff didn't really seem apologetic. The drinks are good, but expensive in my opinion. The elite was burnt, and even if it wasn't wanat worth it. The neat overall everyone agrees was fatty. The salsa was good, they have several options. Even the desert was just okay. The ambience is nice.

I never felt so uncomfortable walking into a restaurant. There were 6 servers working. Empty restaurant. Literally, I was the ONLY customer. I had 2 friends joining me. They felt equally awkward arriving. There was a very serious dissatisfied look in all their eyes. The bartender was friendly. Unfortunately, he was not well versed in English. Which is completely fine. I gave the 2 stars because I felt he actually tried, and cared. We felt uncomfortable that he had to ask the other 5 girls standing around for help every 2 minutes. They looked annoyed, and completely aggravated there were customers. Our 1.5 hour of the most miserable mealOver consisted of 5 guests total. Us being 3 of them. Food came out too fast. Like buffet express style. Food was mediocre at best. I'm not sure if the service turned us off. Needless to say, I'll never be back. I live walking distance and usually go to another restaurant up the street, Casa Corazon, Should of stuck with my gut and did that. They were constantly speaking in Spanish while looking at us. ONLY 3 people at the bar. Talk about uncomfortable. Then addressed us like we were a complete inconvenience and then proceeded to talk about us. Spoiler alert: 2 of us 3 speak Spanish. Jokes on them. They will not survive the new year. Save the hassle. Over staffed shoebox with amazon wall decals, obnoxious racist staff. I look forward to not going back. If you appear Caucasian be prepared to be completely gawked at and basically told you are unwelcome. ***they charge a credit card fee.***

I really wanted to love this restaurant. We love Playa Hermosa and since this restaurant is of the same family tree our expectations were high. Ultimately there is nothing we tried that was screaming delicious. The dishes are a decent attempt at something great. But it falls way short of spectacular. The salsa Macha is hot and tasty but that's about it. The ribeye was a tough cut. I think Texas Roadhouse makes a better steak. Anyway, The servers are great. Midweek there wasn't wait time. I don't think you need reservation. People celebrate birthdays here and there is a loud celebration each time. It's kind of annoying night club spectacle with strobe lights; if you're into that sort of thing. Unfortunately we will not be back.

We recently dined at Cielo Rojo and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Lilly, our server was absolutely fabulous - so friendly with great recommendations we started with a the El Picate cocktail which was the perfect combination of sweet and slightly spicy. So good! We were a party of five so got to try lots of of the items. I had the Raja Con Crema and ...OMG! It was fabulous and I am still thinking about it. Can't wait to go ack for another order. Overall, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine served with a smile by a wonderful server like Lilly. 5 stars all the way!

The front room of this restaurant has such a fun vibe. Service was great and they even gave us a complimentary appetizer. The macha fundido was delicious and depending on where you dipped depended on how spicy it was. The steak fajitas were so so good. Fresh homemade tortillas with all the accompaniments. This might be one of my new favorite Mexican food restaurants.

Modern interior with fresh Mexican flavors. The restaurant feels like you are in Mexico City Polanco district. The food is well rounded and fresh. The fish is a must.

Came on a Saturday evening for a birthday dinner. From the food, drinks, staff, vibes of the restaurant, everything was more than what we expected. Definitely coming back soon to try more food and drinks.

Found this place thanks to Yelp and was a little nervous to try since they're so new. I'm glad I tried it, though, because it was very good. Pros1. Service was friendly, helpful, and kind.2. The ribeye and bone marrow were both very good, but next time I'll try something more unique. The entree I got ended up being similar to what I can cook at home. Still very good but next time I'll go with something that has a 24 hour marinade or 21 spices. 3. So many things on the menu sounded amazing.4. The decor was current and nice. Cons1. The awkward front door. IYKYK2. The food was very good but would have been even better with a little more salt added to bring out the flavors! 3. The booths are pretty deep so if you're short like me then you'll have to maneuver things around to get somewhat comfortable.
