Felt like I was in Italy! Ciao Roma sits in a beautiful square and offers both inside and outdoor dining. I ate inside and enjoyed the dim lighting, gorgeous floral arrangements, and neat architectural elements. The staff were polite and the service was quick without feeling rushed.I ordered the fusilli alla vodka and chose the gluten free penne as a substitute with homemade ricotta. It was delicious. The penne was a little too chewy for my taste, but the sauce was divine (I kept thinking about it afterwards.) The sauce's flavor and the creaminess of the ricotta made up for the pasta's texture. I would order this dish again. The Hugo cocktail was refreshing, sweet, and tangy.

There are so many places to choose from in the North End. I wanted somewhere cute, with that old world feeling to celebrate my mom's birthday while we were on vacation. Boy did I pick the right place! When I made reservations, I asked for a table by the window as I mentioned it would be my mom's birthday that day. They not only came through with the table by the window but they went above and beyond, giving her a birthday card, decorating the table with confetti and printing "Happy Birthday " on our menus! They also gave her a birthday gelato at the end. I was beyond pleased and she felt so special! Now for the food...we had bread for the table, which was good! The olive oil and spices for dipping were packed with flavor. We ordered a piece of the Fig bruschetta and a piece of the Prosciutto bruschetta. I'm so happy we got one of each because they were both heavenly in their own right. We both ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese for our main dish and it was delicious. We loved that they didn't serve enormous portions. They were just right. Overall we were super happy with our choice to dine at Ciao Roma! Check it out!

Best chicken cutlet I have ever had! It was so thin and crispy, perfect for the chicken parmigiana. The sauce and noodles with that dish were also tasty. I would say that having it with vodka sauce might have just made it a 10/10 meal for me. Our server was nice and the restaurant was very cute on the inside. It had cute antique decorations and it's right in the heart of a perfect area for Italian food in Boston!

After a chilly cruise on the Boston Harbor we found this gem to warm up. It was an elegant experience that feels as if you've been transported to an Italian home with its cozy, intimate, and relaxing vibes. We loved the meal we split that looks to be their most beloved dish - the Rigatoni & Sunday Ragu - with their fresh daily made Ricotta cheese and were very well attended to by our server. I appreciated the architecture inside & out, what a beautiful stop.

We made a last minute reservation on a Friday as someone else had canceled and I'm glad we did. We got sat by the window upstairs and it was a beautiful view and ambiance. We had a whole view of the north end on one side and the city scape on the other. We both had white wine, Caesar salad, and pasta of choice. Everything was phenomenal. Would return if visiting Boston again!

This was a recommendation from a friend to try out while in Boston. We indulged on some pre-dinner cocktails and wine. Cocktails are handmade and they have a pretty good wine list. Drinks and pours were good for the value. The overall vibe of the restaurant was great- it feels like you are in Italy. The outside seating feels like you are on the streets of Italy and inside was a pink gaudy italian vibe!! Service was great. Hoping to try their foods next time we return to the North End!

Some of the BEST drinks in North End! The food is okay but the cocktail bar is so cute and welcoming. Excellent staff! Get something on the menu or let them be creative, either way you won't be disappointed.

Came here for a girls dinner and we sat outside. It was super cute outside, with nice pink accents. Our server was so nice and so attentive. He gave a great recommendation so I got the martini with gin and it was the best I've had in the city but it was $21 so that was insane. I got the Arancini and it was super good but very cheesy. It was pretty expensive for 3 small ones. The lobster ravioli was not great and it was also so over priced. Vodka pasta was above average but nothing to write home about

Great spot for dinner or brunch with the girls! everything is very good but nothing stands out as amazing. I love going back and the macaroons with the bill is a nice touch.

This must be the CUTEST place in the North End. The decor screamed "good vibes" as soon as I walked through the door; pink leather chairs, marble bar, flowered wallpaper. It was vintage, boujee and fantastic. My husband and I met friends here for lunch. I appreciated that a "glossary" of Italian terms was on the menu so it was easy understand what you're ordering. We started with the calamari & arancini. Calamari was just average but the arancinis were excellent. I could have eaten 100 of them! For my entree, I got the eggplant parm with spaghetti. The menu stated the pasta was made fresh daily in-house, but the spaghetti was just ok/underwhelming. However, the eggplant was delicious! It was a layered eggplant with veggies in between the layers (roasted peppers & spinach). I ate every last bite! I would definitely recommend checking this place out for the ambiance alone, if not anything else. The decor is perfect for a girls day/night :)
