I love this restaurant, as others have said, no frills but great food at a very reasonable price. I have been going there for over 20 years and the consistency of the food has always been great, especially for the price!!

Let's just say my poop was weird the next day. Let's start with customer service: terrible. No smile, no thank you no nothing from the lady in front.Food: I got chicken chow mein and fried rice. With hardly any noodles and fried rice that wasn't supposed to be touched with bits of pork (I didn't order pork and god forbid I had an allergy) yet pieces of pork ended up in my food. Also, I noticed a hair. This place is worse than Panda Express.

This small Chinese spot in Miramar is perfect if you're looking for a bang for your buck. The portions on the combination plates are heaping for what you pay, and the food is pretty delicious! Just keep in mind that it's a cash-only restaurant.

Will definitely be coming back!!For a little over $10 bucks we got a lot of food and tasty food. The combo #1 came with salt and pepper wings, roast (?) pork, and pork fried rice as well as these 2 wonton things (not in picture). Soooooo worth what I paid and then some!!Coming back here! I've been searching for a place like this!!Cash only btw!

By far my favorite place to grab lunch when I am working. Chung Hing is on Miramar Road, just behind the McDonalds. It's another one of those spots that is tough to find if you don't know about it. I get the same thing every time!#1 Combo - included bbq pork fried rice, 2 salt and pepper chicken wings, 2 wontons and a generous portion of bbq pork. The combo cost just under $10 and the portion is great. I have never tried anything else, but I can tell you every time I am there, there is a line...and everyone is ordering the same thing....Combo #1 The restaurant is clean. I have only seen 2 lady's ever working the front counter. Both of them have always been very nice. **One thing to note, they only take cash. There is a sign that says "credit card machine not working" but that has been up for years. Make sure you bring cash!

Cash only, no ATM nearby. We got a #1 and #7 (I think). They were out of some stuff when we came for dinner around 6pm. Our total was $24. Lots of carbs (fried rice and noodles); the chicken wing and pork were really good. I would definitely come back for just wings and BBQ pork! There was one staff, and she was nice. We ate there; we saw some people come in and get takeout. There are tables inside and outside in the small shop, and they were clean. We enjoyed it overall!

If you're west of the 15 and north of the 52... you should know about this golden gem. Chung Hing has been around for decades and has not strayed from their quality or procedures. Those complaining about it being cash only... when it's the cheapest Cantonese food in the entire county... have other problems they're dealing with. There's an ATM within walking distance. It's not that big of a deal. Their BBQ pork char sui however IS a big deal. Not to mention their fresh chicken wings, that if you're lucky enough.. they'll still have some tiny feathers left. I've never strayed from their Combo #1 which seems to be a local favorite. It has the most amazing pork char sui you'll find - and I'm willing to bet money on that. All of it is fresh and tastes so dang good. Their chicken wings are so crispy and seasoned soooo nicely. Whatever salt they use is on point. I could eat a whole gallon of drumsticks and be solid. But my favorite.... Are the pork wontons. Those addicting little suckers will seriously have you regretting not getting extra. Whatever magic they use in their recipe is slaying! Their fried rice is fulllll of flavor and bits of char sui, which make it even gold. If you're gutsy enough to wait until you get home to eat it... i highly suggest making a rice bowl with added char sui. It's so dang good.Such a super simple mom and pop shop that's always a hit with our family. I can see why they've been around so long.

Old school Chinese food. Cash only. Served per plate. To get the amount of food for the price point in San Diego is unheard of. A plate here for under $10 would run you about a few bucks or more at a Panda Express. The food here seemed pretty authentic too. The only knock I have here is it did take a bit of time to get the food out but it's a small operation and there was a line out the door for lunch. Another sign the food here is pretty good. The bbq pork here was fantastic.

ooh yum. It's a small very humble mom and pop fast food chinese shop. randomly came by via yelp in search of cheap, tasty chinese food that wasn't panda express or that other place with the horse in front. It's located behind the Miramar McDonalds (near pyramid and across taco bell plaza) and plenty of parking. Caution since a lot of trucks drive in and out of the area. The restaurant folks are still barricaded down from all things covid. It's a heart aching set up that distances customers from entering so folks can order at the door while the owners can work their magic behind the scenes. Ordered a #1 and the #10? (Kungpao Shrimp) to go. Each plate $10 + $11.. a little high but understandable given the current economic status. It's legit a mom and pop s definitely worth supporting.#1 is the one to order.. the bbq pork is SO yummy.. decent salt and pepper wings and a lot of rice. Definitely would order another helping of the pork next time i come. The kungpao shrimp wasn't spicy at all but it had a lot of good veggies, a decent gravy, YUMMY mein and pretty solid fried rice. It is a good amount of food and fresh tasting. Definitely see myself coming back again. Hubs and I had a good fill on the food and didn't feel like poop after either. When you have a hankering for chinese take out this is the place to come by. I'm actually craving the char shieu .. I also found it comforting that there were a lot of other chinese folks dining here for the quick and easy eats. Not bad for lunch! Will be back and go support your small businesses!!

There is nothing fresh, nothing hot and nothing good here.Lunch time on a weekday (12:15) you would expect your food to be fresh and hot, it was not. It was all made hours before and sitting buffet style in "warmers" that are not even close to being hot. You get what you pay for, you have been warned.
