First thing's first: the people who work here are SO nice and helpful. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I'm just not a huge fan of the mounds of melted cheese inside (we got the sweet potato mozzarella option). We mainly came here to try it, but I'm not into mozzarella sticks or having loads of melted cheese, so if you do like those things, I feel like you'd LOVE this. I will say the batter is AMAZING!!! I love the sweet potato and rice mix. It's in a great location if you're in the International District for day, and they have soooooooo many sauce options. I loved the mango habanero. Bottom line, if you love cheese, this place is your jam. If not, maybe get one to share with friends so you can try it.

These dogs on a stick are great, not perfect. Don't expect it to be a fast alternative to other places in the area as they make these fresh to order. I can't think of a time I didn't have to wait for them to cool down before I could eat. Over the years they have made minor adjustments to their establishment. For now when you come it, it's a very small shop with minimal standing / eating room the only place to eat is a medium bar counter along the back wall which is also where the lines spills into when it's overflowing. They have many ways to order which does help. Especially when you think you have to wait for the main register then walla a random kiosk right by the front door and another by the counter. This does come at a price of service, I feel like I'm in some automated shop with a server that's just there for backup. The staff is also very young on average. It's kind of fun to simply just people watch while you wait on the food. They have a larger cut out window that lets you easily see what's going on in the kitchen. So many hotdogs. Yes they have expanded their selection over the years and have over a dozen varieties. From pork, chicken pork, and beef. They also have many self serve sauces that are very yummy and even unique for hotdogs. One thing that threw me off was, they are also the donut shop which I don't remember also being here. I actually accidentally passed by the shop more than once because I didn't realize they were also the donut shop. There's a lot going on in this location so be ready. And be sure to order ahead of time if you don't want to be awkwardly waiting for 20 minutes in a hit and tiny shop with 8 high school kids, 2 family of 5s, and the few locals trying to just get a quick snack.

Stopped in for a quick bite as I was walking around the ID. Decided to try a Ramen noodle hotdog and it did not disappoint. The hotdog was cooked well with a crispy coating that was super crunchy with ramen noodles around it. The combination went well together and the sauce added even more flavor. There were a lot of different options and can't wait to try more. There were also donuts which I will have to try next time. The staff are friendly and make the order quickly. However. When it's busy, it can get crowded but there is room to wait outside and they will call your number when your order is ready.

The server greeted us and took our order right away. We both got the full mozzarella dogs and I got squid ink batter. It was pretty good and I liked their selection of sauces. Not sure I'd do the squid ink again as it didn't seem to add much. I liked the garlic Parmesan sauce though. It can be a bit confusing because this shop is inside the mochinut as they sell both. Not really many spots to sit, so we ate outside since it was nice out. I wish they had a few more choices for the toppings but overall it was fresh and tasty!

My cousin and I came here during the food crawl and were not disappointed. This place was packed wall to wall, and the line was out of the door. It was our first experience with the infamous Korean corn dog, so we decided to keep it simple and got the spicy sausage served the traditional way--rolled in sugar. We experimented with the sauces, and it was a hit.It is very similar to an American corn dog in concept but way better in flavor. It was a solid experience, and we were glad we gave the sugar a chance. It made the difference.

Solid Korean hot dog spot in the International District. You can customize your hot dog with various toppings and sauces, which is sure to please anyone. The wait can be kinda long and since the store is small, sometimes you have to wait outside. However, they are worth the wait!

If you're a hot dog or corndog fan and are looking to try something a little unique, Chung Chun Rice Hot Dog in Seattle is where it's at! Located in the International District, this restaurant offers a unique Korean-style hot dog experience that has been gaining popularity in the US over the last few years.Korean-style hot dogs are different from the traditional American hot dog in that they are coated in rice flour batter, which gives them a crispy texture when fried. The hot dogs are then topped with a variety of delicious and creative toppings, such as cheese, potato, and even squid ink. There are so many options to choose from at Chung Chun Rice Hot Dog, try not to be intimidated or overwelmed. Two popular menu items include the Classic Rice Dog and the Squid Ink Rice Dog. The Classic Rice Dog is a perfect starting point for those new to Korean-style hot dogs. It features a crispy hot dog coated in rice flour batter and topped with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Easy peasy! The Squid Ink Rice Dog, on the other hand, is for the more adventurous diner. This hot dog is coated in a black squid ink batter and topped with mozzarella cheese, diced potatoes, and seaweed flakes... a real winner if you ask me!Do me a favor and just throw fear and intimidation out the window when visiting Chung Chun. It can be fun to try new things, and you never know what you might end up loving. I mean, how bad can it be? It's just a hot dog!

SMOOTH LIKE BUTTER. PULL YOU IN LIKE NO OTHER.Say BTS and I'm there in a heartbeat! This originally wasn't on my itinerary but my friend (Sam M.) said I had to go, so to go I shall! This shop is really close by the train station so it wasn't too hard to find -- they have a QR code outside the shop to save time on lining up/ordering but I'm old fashioned so we ordered inside. I love their different selections because they definitely have a lot more options compared to our shops back in Hawaii. It took a minute but we settled on the Squid Ink Cheese Hot Dog, Sweet Potato Hot Dog, Melon Milk Coffee, and Banana Milk CoffeeWe absolutely loved every bite and I wish I could of took some back home for the flight! It's so much more flavorful and juicier compared to Hawaii's ones; it's the perfect snack to start off the day! For the coffees, the Melon Milk is on point but the Banana Milk was sadly lacking in the banana flavor so it just tasted like a regular coffee for us. I love the BTS decor around the shop but it was kinda funny that their playlist was C-Pops songs. There really isn't a place to dine in so be prepared to juggle your hands outside or have them pack it up for the car ride home

I walked past this place and saw a sign for mochinut mochi donuts. I did a double take to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Low and behold, there was a rack of those amazing circles with an assortment of flavors. I quickly grabbed a dozen and brought them back with me. How did I not know that this place had these delicious gems! I'll be back to try the other corndogs in addition to getting more mochi donuts.

Bruh, ordered some rice dogs for pickup and got honey mustard sauce. Took the sauce out and this (refer to photo) is literally what we got. Why they give us the most measly itty bitty smol mf portion. Absolutely evil.
