Great gift ideas. We ordered online a bunch of cherry quartet and cherry blossom 2.75oz packs to give to like 40+ extended family folks, and it went great with pretty red packaging and not too heavy to carry.Cherry quartet offers four great varieties, especially the milk and dark covered whole bing cherries and the dark covered rainier. The cherry blossoms were cute with the pink colored white chocolate coating.Chukar takes quality seriously so they use gourmet chocolate (guittard) and fresh dried whole cherries usually (except for the dried tart cherries). Not cheap and hard to find big deals but worth it.We've also been to the pike's place location - friendly folks giving free samples :)

I'm not a huge fan of cherries but these have changed my mind completely! My friend took us here when we were visiting and told us they were a must try. We got to sample the truffle cherries and I was immediately hooked. I ended up buying 2 bags. They are so delicious and honestly hard to just eat one or two. The employees were very friendly and let us sample their white chocolate blueberries as well after purchasing the 2 bags which were also delicious. This will be a new required stop for me whenever I'm in Seattle!

Found Chukar Cherries during my recent visit to Seattle and I am so happy I did. I appreciated that they let me sample a few different cherries to see what I wanted to take home. They also offered a discount if you purchased more than one bag. I left with the Amaretto Rainier cherries and they were delicious! They barely made it home because they are such a perfect snack. I liked that they use dark chocolate as well as milk chocolate because it allows for a deeper flavor and doesn't feel as cloyingly sweet. I have now looked into ordering some to ship.

Ever since I lived in Seattle these chocolate-covered cherries have been my obsession. Now whenever I or relatives are in Seattle, bringing home several bags of Chukar (provinces Chuck-er) Cherries is a must! My absolute favorite flavor are the Cabernet Dark Chocolate Cherries, which pair perfectly with any dessert, or simply by themselves. They used to have a large selection at SeaTac airport, however, I can't seem to find it anymore. Not to mention the prices were higher than at Pike Place market. All I can say is visit and try some samples!

My recent visit this week with a friend from Korea turned out to be quite disheartening, mainly due to an unsettling encounter with an employee (Male, mid-twenties, gingerish, wearing a beanie, messy hair). We were initially thrilled to explore and sample the products, given their reputation and our enthusiasm for their products. However, our excitement quickly faded due to his behavior. He came across as overly flirty and made several inappropriate comments that made us feel extremely uncomfortable. His attempts at humor were off-key, and his mannerisms seemed out of place, especially in a professional setting. We just felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave ASAP.As visitors looking forward to a pleasant shopping experience, this was particularly disappointing. We expected a friendly and respectful environment but instead felt uneasy and eager to leave. This experience has unfortunately tainted our perception of this company. We hope that the management takes our feedback seriously and ensures that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

Whenever we travel we always like to visit some of the local shops for local foods. We enjoy different grocery stores as different parts of the Country have different foods and items that are not available where we live or as fresh. Some examples of this are the fried nuts we found in Charleston or Dukes mayonnaise usually found in the South. Cherries are prevalent in Washington and Chukar Cherries has all sorts of snacks and treats. They have different nuts, granolas and different jams to name just a few. We elected to get some Cherry Blossoms which were chocolate covered cherries and some cocoa covered honey roasted pecans. The lady at the booth was very friendly answering our questions and even offered a couple of samples. Snacks are a bit overpriced in our opinions but then again considering the cost to ship these treats if we were to order them from home, it all works out. Plus we're on vacation.

BEST. CHOCOLATE. COVERED. CHERRIES. EVER.I DREAM AND CRAVE these chocolate covered cherries delicacies. For starters, I dislike chocolate fruit flavored or chocolate covered desserts. So when I was introduced to these, I was very hesitant. BUT THEN MY LIFE CHANGED. You can truly taste the freshness and quality of the cherries and chocolate. Pre-covid, this stand at Pike's Place was EXTREMELY generous with sampling. The staff are friendly, patient, and so knowledgeable. Honestly they wouldn't give you attitude if you sampled 10 chocolate balls and walked away. That's how nice they are!! I was in chocolate heaven. I tried so many, my taste buds could not keep track of which ones I loved because I LOVED THEM ALL. It's REALLY hard to choose which bag to go with because they're allllll so delicious. If you're looking to buy something for friends back home or just for yourself, BUY THIS. Skip the postcard and Seattle mugs. The only regret you'll have is not buying more when you run out the first week you finish a bag because they are that addicting. The only slightly downside is that you can easily spend $50-$100 on just a few bags. The bags are not cheap but honestly you can't get these anywhere else so I think it's worth it. If you or a friend are visiting Seattle, tell them to RUN to this place and grab you a few bags home.

These cherries were so fun to try on our food tour that we went back and purchased a few for our friends and family back at home. The amaretto cherries were one of our favorites but I ended up buying myself the honey pecan chocolates. If you are not a big cherry fan, these were still so good and so delicious! You can sample them before purchasing.

I visited Chukar Cherries in Pike Place Market on Sunday, May 26th, with a group of four friends. We were excited to try the renowned Rainier cherry chocolate, but our experience was unfortunately disappointing. When we approached the counter, the middle-aged guy wearing a knitted beanie seemed visibly impatient. Despite being a group of four, he only offered one sample for us to share, which felt quite stingy given the circumstances. His demeanor was cold and unfriendly, making the interaction uncomfortable. What made the situation worse was that we noticed the employee being very nice and accommodating to the white customer before us, but his reaction was totally different when it was our turn. One of my friends, who doesn't speak English, even asked me if the employee didn't want us to try the chocolate, highlighting how apparent his unwelcoming attitude was. It's disheartening to think that our experience might have been influenced by the fact that we are a group of Asians.I have been bringing my friends to this location for years, and we have spent hundreds of dollars on their chocolates. This experience was particularly upsetting as my friends had flown all the way to Seattle and were left with a negative impression of what should have been a delightful local treat. Chukar Cherries, I hope you can address such issues to ensure all customers feel welcome and valued.
